it was prolly already mentioned, but you can use Xpadder. to setup a gamepad. i did on my HTPC/Living room gaming PC and it is nearly identical to a regular XBOX setup, with the exception that there is no aim assist and the HUD is still that of a PC so there's no "power wheel". i think somebody make a fix for that if you really want it.

That being said, mouse and keyboard is so much better. you should really just try it. i must confess i actually bought an xbox360 controller for PC for ME2 and then i found out it wasn't supported. i was kinda bummed, but after i actually played the game with mouse and KB i got over it.

You saying you got good results with X-Padder? And who do I beg for a fix?

A mouse for fps/tps is just not right for me when you litterly point at the bad guy to aim instead of using some skill I consider very fun & gaming like to co-ordinate two analog stick to get it to aim where I want. Like using a steering wheel + pedal & shift to drive a car instead of pushing a toy car with one hand. A world of a difference.

Then there is the fact that useing a mouse, & especially a keyboard too, is just not as comfortable to me either (+ only seems to be made for computer desks). ie. I have to move my wrist, + maybe entire right hand too, to move a mouse instead of a just two thumbs that require seeminly way less energy, movement, & have myself overall in a much more confortable position of many choices available instead of just one.

Every game I emulate on PC (I'm a big gaming geek & must have access to all games ever made + I download old gaming mag scan & whatever else retro gaming related Posted Image), for whatever system or just PC game, I try to make it feel like I'm playing on a home gaming console or arcade. ie. drag image to a TV + hook up a gamepad/Arcade Stick/Steering Wheel/Light Gun = only way to game in my opinion. Anything else is an obvious downgrade to me.

If you find it works for you, hey, that's great. But I know for a fact it won't work for me. Not with how I was raised on gaming...

The point is you want to play ME 3 MP on PC with gamepad what its not supported and...
There are plenty ways to emulate the xbox 360 lamepad and configure it to the game, remeber I told you I play with the wiimote on PC? Not that hard when you know how to master race.

The question, why not support? Answer is unknow, as well why no half life 3, why no Jet force Gemini 2, why no Freelancer 2. Fact: the REAL gamer is versatile, I can´t imagine myself playing command and conquer with a gamepad, as well playing the upcoming ducktales remake with keyboard.

About that, Capcom is going just mean with no Ducktales remake on PC but meh, I will play it on console no matter what tough

Gamer? No you are not.
Good day, sir.

Oh yeah, almost forgot about this thread. Got nothing more to say either anyways for the most part. ... Thought that car example would of made sense to most? Guess not. ... But mostly sad I can't enjoy the PC version also with 60fps & no auto aim BS due to BioWare whatever reason BS. Posted Image

In the end at least there should of been a player choice to choose what they prefer. The only reason I can think of why they wouldn't include this option at least for ME3 is because to even the playing field and avoid a fight between gamepad vs mouse/key players. As I can see console gamepad players that care about score and competition complaining about how much easier it is to aim via mouse/key (even I said it feels like cheating via mouse/key). Sad, but probaly true. Sigh, but I personally don't care about score whoring or what not, I just want to play via gamepad cause gaming is only enjoyable this way to me.

just getting by, you say? casual gamers, you say? Posted Image

That looks hella & horribly complex. Posted Image Another serious problem in gaming (Take a look at Elder Crack/Fallout gameplay, Final Fantasy job systems gameplay, etc, etc). The more complex a game is, the more poorly balanced it is/easier to find game breaking bugs/etc. because it would require way to many freakin man hours and testers to test all properly, and then re-test it, repeat, rinse, repeat, repeat, lol, lol, lol. Just a freakin big mess. Simple yet deep too is always the best answer, or at least pretty close to this (as in doesn't have to be too extreme), as the further away from it, the harder it is to balance things and not lose track of more important things too or what not (and yeah, complex games are still fine, as I love Skyrim still, lol... heck it even simplyfied over the past games in gameplay, no? Thus maybe why it's better?). ME series as and excellent example; look at that the overly complicated mess that is ME1 and how making things more simple greatly improved & balanced ME2 (too bad there's still too many that prefer ME1 broken gameplay for who know why reason?.. last playthrough through series I had top skip ME1 due to horrid gameplay... I mostly replay & always loved the ME series for their gameplay now of which part 1 don't count... er, no offense to ME1 fans, and so many other things rule best in that game, like story, enviroment, music,... just not gameplay for sure Posted Image).

Well, time to time cheer with some ME3mp. BS AUTO AIM IN 30fps HERE I COME!! Posted Image

one thing about this game is it is so vast and complex that the term "OP" is redundant. it is also far from being a mess. and the picture i showed you is actually much simpler than it looks.

the reason you are wrong is because of how high the bar is for overcomplexity, and how low the threshold  for gamepad redundancy.

it is very difficult to call something "unbalanced" in a game such as EVE, considering the sheer variety of ways in which you can get things done.

Played ME3 for ages on the 360, got it on pc a week ago. My verdict is too stick with the mouse and keyboard, once you get used to it, it will be hard to return to a controller.

Razer Nostromo or any other game pad may help.

http://www.razerzone.../razer-nostromo

You can easily re-map the keys on it to use the thumbpad as movement and then you have access to all sorts of buttons on 4 fingers.

A nice high resolution mouse helps to, but not needed as much for ME3 as say BF3 or CS which tend to be way more twitch orientated game play.
