I just realized I've gotten good enough with my novaguard to carry sh*tty random PUG's on gold while hardly using any of my consumables.

Enough that my Smashguard was almost entirely unable to charge, and smash rarely did any damage at all. I had to do all my damage with my Eagle. It was on Rio, meaning that every enemy on the map could see me all the time, meanwhile I had no clue where they actually were. It is slightly disorienting when dodging teleports you 20 feet in the opposite direction to where you were dodging.

Destroyed collectors with my devastator mode-only level 17 destroyer (no grenades, no hawk missiles), using the particle rifle. Even got 20 headshots by wave 6, somehow. Full extraction. Breaking 300k quite easily these days.

I have to admit, I find this thread truly cathartic.

Hosted a UUG lobby, in walks an N7 > 500 with an Avenger III and a Carnifex I. My mind is blown, but the player loaded up with level 3 gear and did better than I expected with an HSol.

RNG said Hazard Giant, Reapers, and by wave 5 any doubts that we were in trouble had disappeared. Another player with a GI must have been new to Gold, because they nuked 2 brutes with individual rockets. I suspect those were that player's only rockets.

The match ended on a wave 10 escort wipe. Only one other player seemed to know what to do with the drone, and even when I kited all the heavies to the other side of the map they preferred to follow me than walk it home. My GPSMG TSol tallied more points than the rest of the team combined... I may not think score means much, but I'd better not top score that bad with a GPSMG!

I really do feel better now.

Amusing.

Ran into somebody who had a rapid fire Talon that never needed to be reloaded, and 6/6/6/6/6 build on their Valkyrie. Despite their performance enhancements and extraction wave missiles they didn't do so great and got stomped. My friend and I gave them a 12 missile salute with 10 seconds for their "efforts". Oh, and to top it all off said player was sporting their BotB.

dropped into a gold lobby vs reapers on FB White with a FQI,Turian Soldier, and an AIU..myself a phoenix vanguard..2nd game was geth gold on FB Giant...both games went smoothly for the most part, not alot of dying and everybody played well...whoever that person was that was hosting the match hada great connection..my vanguard was responding and hitting foes with "0" lag...

I was in a Gold match with Choky and two random people, who were awful, and I was forced to solo a wave because they all got Banshee hugs.

My little Volus Mercenary almost didn't make it, but I used up all of my equipment to get us through it. I still can't believe I pulled it off. lol

Choky was having a wonderful time staring at my hawt Volus bum.

That actually happens to me all the time these days. I actually prefer having no weapon sounds; it might sound odd but it makes me perform better.

Joined in late. Tried to escort on wave 10. Everyone else was floundering around away from the drone like it was the kid in school with lice. Got phantomed. I'm guessing everyone else did too.

It's shameful. I just blasted a bunch of golds tonight (with level 12+ characters), decided to do a silver pug because my adept was level 8 and I figured I'd use a phalanx cause why not? Well I learned why not.

If I'm vanguarding I shut myself in there with baddies every match, it's hot inside and really don't want others seeing what I'm up to ... they may see my blue outline getting humped by a husk for a bit then banging in to phantoms and nemesii, but the full details are for my eyes only.

Wouldn't shut my team-mates in just because I've seen other PUGgers do it and some people get irrate. Personally I don't mind; I often play lag-friendly Krogans and they can survive a reactor vent without losing any health with a combination of barrier and melee. I kinda like it actually, ooh yeah.

A big troll. Was using GI with GPS and I color my GI like a hunter. And the RNG gave us Geth. Needless to say, my squadmates panicked and kept shooting me (a minimum of 3-4 allied fire shots every wave) lol. But the game itself was pretty solid though - a lot of 'easy mode' kits like TGI, AIU were used.

I will have to try PuG fishing, again. Unknown Unknown frightens the little puggies, I think.

I played so badly in my last PuG, that I actually felt awful that my teammates got stuck with me.

My aim is so terrible on Xbox that I'm dying 3-4 times a wave.

If it wasn't for BotB, I probably wouldn't be playing Xbox at all, anymore. I like being able to aim.

Lobby was preset to geth FBW. Erm ok, I will take edibot with geth scanner and lvl 1 equipment then. Was ok match, but they were NOT paying enough attention, quite often just shooting enemies climbing the ladder and not watching for hunters approaching via the corridoor. EXTRACTION
