AAAH!

Gigantic wolf spider appears on wall next to me during wave 10, surrounded by geth.
Thankfully it sits still (about a foot from my head), so manage to keep playing and take cover in safe corner of map - figure time out is 2 mins. Find cup, pout out water, catch spider in cup (it just fits!) - see pyro flaming down to a couple of bars of health... unfortunately didn't get back in time; had to burn a medigel. BUT IT WAS WORTH 1 MEDIGEL!

I'm not used to carrying Gold groups, especially with a slow mover like the Krogan Shaman. I'm dependable, but not very fast, especially with a guy like that. I doubled the nearest guy this time, though. Wasn't a quick game, but we plodded through to extraction.

In my previous house, I used to play games and watch TV in the basement.  So, I'm playing Halo 2 in a dark room, and I notice a human hand scuttling across the carpet out of the corner of my eye.  I wasn't sure how any of the human hands could have escaped the freezer in the garage, so I take a look, and it's this big ol' spider that would require Samuel L. Jackson to describe properly.

By the time I'd switched out hollow points for FMJ rounds in the Glock (figured I'd need the extra penetration on the hairy little tank), the bastard had disappeared.  I didn't start the game again until I'd set up a proper barricade.

Anyway, Google up Tegenaria Duellica for a look at my former roommate.  They're nasty to look at directly, but they're a darn sign more unnerving out of the corner of your eye in a darkened room.

Dropped into a match in progress as a shadow - two other shadows there and a cabal. Following match stayed in the lobby (think one from here with the alt mathemagician banner) and all switched to 4 shadow team - cerberus, rio - absolute carnage. Good times.

How...

... did any of these guys beat ME3? Did they do the lowest setting and let their teammates carry them? I'm doing a Volus Adept (no orbs) w/ Talon 1 on silver vs. reapers. Got a Krogan that only melees and gets sync killed 3 times, drell vangaurd that thinks he's krogan and charges groups, and a salarian engineer that couldn't tech burst. And, of course, little use of consumable.

Great....

4 straight gold runs with a talon merc (who was murdering everything) a destroyer , a demoslisher and myself as the phoenix vanguard. The team synergy was ok but the destroyer kept dying alot....i'm not a fan of the talon merc, but if he's specced properly he will kill alot of enemies with his mines and bow...i just couldn't keep up with him...i think i came in first once out of the four matches i had with this group, with me coming in 2nd for the other 3 games.

Good games tho...Reapers, Collectors,Cerberus matches was a breeze, and it only got slightly ugly when fighting geth...Lastly whoever this guy was that was hosting had an amazing connection...i had "0" lag even off host with the phoenix vanguard....4 sweet games of true gaming bliss with no cheap gameplay mechanics due to lag...

Took asari adept . Lobby had a slayer on host plus the usual 2 idiots (low n7 jugg snd something else). Initially the slayer and I are doing v well vying for first place. Wave 5 onwards he seems to give up , starts dying a lot , bleeds out all the time. Jugg wastes rockets on pointless things like one banshee . Wave 10, I nuke the first three targets then get grabbed. Other two players dead. Jugg decides to heavy melee rest of wave ten. Seriously contemplated quitting match. Eventually extract with 40min match

2) soloing
I take my slayer off host. There is another on host slayer and 2 others. We get reaper dagger. They die multiple times and never gel. I end up soloing two waves and finish wave ten objective alone , at which point I can't be bothered to use my last gel since nome of them did so we don't get to wave 11.

3) meh
My off host slayer does not do v well this match on collectors jade. They extract without me

I hate those matches where no one gels...i get that folks are trying to save them for later matches, and sometimes if me and a teammate goes down together, we both are looking to see who will gel first.......i'm not that bad with it, but i need to be a little better with it, because while we are both down waiting for somebody to gel, enemies could be coming closer to your position.

It's also situational too...i don't expect somebody to gel immediately if they have praetorians or phantoms surrounding them...but if you're across the map somewhere and know other teammates aren't around, just gel up...especially during objectives since anything can go sour during those waves...

My last four PuGs yesterday went really well. I kinda carried all four in a row. It felt good, actually. I still can't figure out why I can't do that on Xbox.

I played several pugs with Supremocognito until I was pulled into some platinum games by Knockingbr4in and wngmv.

The pugs were bad and should feel bad. Especially that AIU that kept bleeding out.

I was pugging yesterday and dropped into a innocent looking lobby. Geth Reactor. We start wave 1 and dozens of husks start charging me! Apparently 150 of them. Wave 2 was some similar number of abominations, 3 was possessed abominations, then dragoons, then geth mooks, and then scions. The game crashed at this point.

It was amazingly fun!!!

Oh yeah, the next game I switched to a Fury. 3 BE Killstreaks in the first minute and 50 Biotic Kills in the first round. Bring it!

My off host slayer joined paladin t g I and something else for a nice geth ghost game. Equal scores , everyone did objective , sensible use of gel

2) messy
Stuck around for second match , we got Cerberus London . My slayer got more lag, there was more bs , and I also made a lot if stupid mistakes. Ran out if gel. The others died a lot too. Don't know why it was such a change . We didn't extract

3)ok
my collector adept dropped into glacier collectors . Messy match . But we extracted

1. Moronic
I was playing a 3-fitness HA and played it like a krogan. I died a lot, unsurprisingly. But, we extracted, and I swore to use a Cyclonic on him next time.

2. Stunning.
I was playing a Turian Havoc with a PPR against Geth. Half the time, I couldn't ramp it up because I kept getting stunned. But, we extracted, me barely breaking 100k and a Cabal scoring 128k (with a Phaeston VII, no less!).

Sounds similar to my last platinum pug Tchock. lolCondor/Reapers...it went smooth until wave 10 devices and two of them spread enemy out and then died out. I was left to clutch the device by the ammo crate behind the "control room". Ugh..

Pathetic. I joined a game that had just started. Some guy with the handle SuperELCAPITAN is missile glitching on silver. I drop out right away, try to get a new game and leave well enough alone. I get dropped in for the middle of wave 3 in the same lobby. The second pizza spawns in front of me, I run laps with it to wipe. I'd have left them to their devices, but I when I dropped in for the second time and saw the guy again and he went down a couple of times as well... ridiculous.

Loaded up Reapers on Rio thinking it would be a pretty manageable match since I was using a "get sh!t done" character. Boy was I wrong. I should've known while we were in the lobby that things weren't going to be so smooth. The first guy to join was a Juggernaut, with a mic, and he sounded like he had just sucked on a carnival balloon. Then, the next two guys join (I don't even remember what they were), and I'm the only one with equipment on. They all ready up immediately, and I foolishly press R1 as well.

For about 1 1/2 waves, everything was alright. They were dying but helping each other out, We get to wave 3 and this is where things get interesting. Our first objective is the hack near the box of shame. Simple enough, except that I'm the only one in the circle. Not even the helium-sucking Juggernaut wants to help. I shoot at him a couple of times to get his attention (didn't have my mic but that's a whole other story) and he says to me, I sh!t you not, "I'm not helping with the objective because you keep killing everything. So I'm going to catch up." Dude really said this.

Fast forward about 30 minutes, -1 teammate and 3 tonnes of frustration later and we're on wave 10. Being the auspicious bastard I am we get the hack right in the center of the map. By this time 1 guy had enough and left. So it was me, Mr. Helium and some other guy who had a concrete (or whatever the ship on Rio is made out of) diet. They both get grabbed about 10 seconds into the wave, and I tried to get the hack completed, but because there were 3 of us and only 1 of us (me) doing the hack, I couldn't get it in time. But the best thing is that during the whole ordeal, Mr. Helium was apparently bored and started whistling a bunch of 20s showtunes while he watched me try in vain. The contrast between me running around like a Vorcha with its head cut off and his  serendipitous serenade made for quite the mindfvck.

I finally discovered the art of the Black Widow...albeit I'm not that great yet, but I at least got 75kills/50snipers/20headshots and was at the top of the board with a level 1 Salarian Infiltrator on silver. (I suck horribly with snipers, so I stick to silver to avoid embarassing myself in gold+, just ask mybudgee)

Was hosting a silver pug while I was bored, I get an Asari, a Talon merc & some rocket wearing turian while I play Phoenix Vanguard. I do my thing, even more while I revive squad mates over and over again, only to go down from a cheap shot by Praetorian while dealing with a Scion. Instead of getting me back up, the pugs just keep going.
I would have been fine with it, if when the pugs were overwhelmed and constantly reviving each other without staying and clearing away enemies while they got up. So they just kept going down over and over again, super annoying until they all die and I'm left wondering why they no use their rockets.

They die on the same round.
Two of them rage quit, we end the mission last one rage quits and I'm left alone
