Astonishing

My Demolisher got dropped into an in-progress Gold/Glacier/Geth game with 3 Juggernauts. I think they are the first good Juggernauts I have played with. I stuck with them for a few more games, before the host left, and I took that as a chance to stop for supper. One of the Juggs actually outscored me, which I have never seen before.  I felt like a squishy little meatbag next to them.

Senseless. I mean I will never even figure out this grand issue that pugs have . I thought I'd feel refreshed and raring to go after a week off, but it's the same old record playing over and over.

But...doesn't that make sense for that map?

I remember the days when I thought sniping - or any long-range weapon, for that matter - on Glacier was absolute hell. Fortunately experience with the game teaches you to manage almost any situation with any setup (I'm not talking about miracles - well they are for me!).
 
If you've picked the map, then it's smart to go tight-ranged. If it's a random map, then you just have to get with the progam

Yeah, I'm pretty good at not being an annoying spammer with my flamers(namely, semi-rambo so that flamer doesn't block anyones vision), but on Glacier, flamer is absolutely devastating, and I imagine that recon mine is excellent as well.

Rejection

Level 1adept after promotion, so throw on a lvl 1 disruptor ammo and join silver. Connect to a game that has just started, one other player with 0 points so far, geth giant. Kill a couple of troopers and the leader goes down, dash over to revive him and he disconnects mid revive. Why start a game and quit without even bleeding out?

So solo a couple of rounds and three decent team players joined for nice fun game. Silver is relaxing

LOLfun

Dagger/Reapers/Gold. Spent wave 1 grabbing husks at the grab spot (other guy was a QFI so the aggro was on me which was fine). Proceeded normally then extraction wave, everyone else was at the LZ. The brutes x2, banshees x2 and 1 marauder (plus ravagers as a guest appearances) aggroed me so i ran a circle at the ground floor with the ammo box.

By the time i led them up the ramp to the open hack area, went down once to the marauder (4 medigel left, np). With the group still chasing me, i go to the ammo box at the rightmost of the map and the last brute is there blocking the lane. Can't reverse direction because 2 banshees and 2 brutes are there. Try for the bait and dodge but got clipped and dropped by the brute and a warp ball.

Spent 5 seconds on the ground for them to get off my corpse, medigelled and ran the alternate route (down the short ramp, parallel that secondary EZ and turn left). Avoided the brutes and 1 banshee then met the other banshee right at the inner entrance to the round room. 3 swarmers jumped while on goo and ate a warp ball. Time was 3 or 4 seconds left. Too late to medigel and triple dodge with the EZ right in front. Pretty exciting and lulzy. Too bad didn't pull out my missile in time

Dude couldn't aim, dropped several times, all in all pretty pathetic, and this was with multiple people from BSN .. but the worst part was the fact the TGI was ME!

Still, I ended up running a few matches with KittenPuncher and FatherOfPearl last night. Was able to redeem myself somewhat in subsequent games. Good games fellas, multiple sub 20 golds, definitely not something I expect when quick matching into a lobby ...

U/U/G white haz collectors.
Was a pretty smooth game. Got a melee kill with my Sabo's dodge on wave 11 on a crab. lol
I recognised the GE pug again, nihilum0, don't know if he's on the forum, good game anyway dude. Always nice to meet good pugs.

Had a harrier TGI who kept humping ALL of the ammo boxes on giant for ammo and grenades because he couldn't survive without wasting all of his stim packs in each wave. He came 3rd on the scoreboard because the 4th was a lvl 15 Volguard.

In 5 words: Waste of damn good thermal clips.
In 1 words: Ugh...

Laggy.

Almost all of my grenades were duds. Which would have been slightly less of a problem if I wasn't playing a Demolisher. Plus, Cerberus turrets were invisible, my consumables didn't work, I couldn't revive people, I had no sound waves 4-11, and one of the other players was invisible. I felt like that useless PUG everyone complains about.
