Alt account (N7 87), 1 game before bed last night. Landed in a UUG lobby with 3 friends who were talking away. 2 of them had full consumables (that's like a jackpot PUG).
Lands on Dagger / Collectors .. they all groan ... even with equipped consumables, they decided because it was Collectors they wouldn't use any gels/missiles/ops packs. On wave 4 and wave 5 they all died and got stomped right at the start, leaving me to solo and yelling at my screen "Why u no gel!!"
I solo both waves. This is where the hilarity begins to ensue ..
I am using one of my very few Gold viable set ups (flame shield) AIU with my shiny new Reegar I, and HVB I mod .. my only ammo consumable with armor mitigation is Drill rounds III, and I have my one shotgun III amp on .. gear was geth scanner I.
These guys weren't too bad skill wise, but they don't know a lot about the game. During waves 4 & 5 (playing rather aggressive for obv reasons) I got downed like 5 times, repair matrix to the rescue! After about the 3rd time, they're like, "woah dude, how could you have so many med-gels? Your account is new"
After I clutched those waves, I guess they figured it would be worth it to try and complete the match. One of them actually used a med-gel in later rounds (he was really the only other contributor to the match, playing a DV). Him and I two manned the majority of waves 8 & 9, during which time I dropped several more times (TY repair matrix) .. every time they were like "how's this possible, he's used at least 7 med-gels now!"
During wave 8 one of the players who got stomped early in the round started complaining about the length of time it was taking "It's a school night, can't you just use a missile to kill those Pratoreans?"
Now I only have 3 on this character, 1 was used on a targets objective earlier to change the unit type, 1 was used to save all 3 of them on an earlier wave where they all got downed in the same spot. And the last I was saving for a wave 9 spawn nuke.
With my set-up it took me 7 Reegar clips to kill a Posessed Pratorean .. since my gun only held 4 clips at a time (and I only had qty 2 on my repair matrix), many trips to the ammo box were required.
The guy who was last on the scoreboard admitted at one point that he had never made it past wave 6 of Gold ... lol
On extraction, all 3 of them rushed off to hold the extraction zone vs the Collectors, good luck with that. It worked exactly as expected, I got a lone survivor extraction. This match took 42 mins .. ouch!

Did some U/U pug Platinum games, one turned out to be Glacier Hazard/Collectors. My Krogan Sentinel with his Particle Rifle/Acolyte did good for me, definitely a kit that I will play more on Platinum and I got a feeling how intense a solo or duo on this special map/enemy setting must be. Hats off to everybody who soloed Thunderdome. And to Caineghis who soloed this with the Human Soldier and the GPR: you're completely nuts dude

I joined a full Ghost/Reapers/Gold lobby, but for some reason when the game started I was the only one there (the game loaded for a long time before that). And I was there with my Volus Protector Lil-Von-Pig. I can hold my own with him, but a solo would be too much.
So, I chose to buy some time just running around the field hoping someone would join in. In the end we had a great team with a krogan, batarian and a skinny human. Extracted with every one alive and all. Good times!

Glitchy. Objective waves trolled with hackket telling us to disable devices, screen said to get to extraction zone - was really hack on lower giant. Escort dissappeared twice. Extraction was 'Artifacts returned' - never seen that before, is it a disabled objective?

quick match searching for gold, keep dropping into the same lobby with 3 pugs who won't gear up (including host who is playing a level 1 character). Finally after the 4th search, I end up in the same lobby but one of the pugs had left and the other 2 finally geared up. 4th pug joined with gear and we're off. Pug #2 (non host) is playing krosol, pug #4 is playing vorsent, pug 1 I can't even remember because they were level 1, pug #3 (me) is messing around with my shadow. We get white/cerby. I think I've got an AM on or something and that plus SS leads me to occasionally killing a phantom or something that the krosol is trying to headbutt. This is mostly unintentional as off-host I tend to mash the SS button in hopes that something triggers, I wasn't deliberately trying to tag his kills. Anyway, I guess I went over the line when in the course of 30 seconds I SS'd a mook that he was trying to grab (mook jumped over rail, he rushed to other side and crouched just as I hit SS) followed by us both spotting another mook crouching near another rail and since I was faster, I got the grab just as he got there. So he sends me a hate mail saying "gddamit fffuuu" (literally). I ignore him and keep playing, even rezzing him a few times. Anyway, it ends up being a 29minute match but we all extract. I bail on that lobby right quick and get a post-game message from him saying "you better leave". At this point I'm pretty baffled so I finally message him back saying "why is that?" and he says "idk just cuz" and I said "ok, good answer". What a tool. and way to get your panties in a bunch over a successful extraction.

Joined a Silver, with an Asari Vanguard (LV. 1). She did decent enough, but obviously went down a crap ton of times. Revived her as much as I could as it was only the two of us. But of course she had to charge a Praetorian and got insta-killed at the start of the wave (8, I think).
I had used up my missiles by that time (my mistake), so it was a slow process of killing the Praetorian and a few Scions. Thank god I was an EDI, that cryo freeze and cloak saved my ass. All she did was try and melee me after the wave finished. Add that plus lag on her side, yeah, not fun at all. Obvs she wasn't serious about it, which made it even more painful.

Hosted U/U/P game with my typhoon destroyer. Three pugs came in. All readied up without equipment, so they were clearly confident in their ability. It was going to be my last game of the day, I had free equipment and nothing to gain or lose, just thought I might as well do the game seeing as I had free equipment. Game starts, it immediately became apparent that all 3 pugs were leeching me pretty hardcore, not knowing what kind of player I am.
Anyway, I got carried away with the extreme power of the typhoon destroyer (I'm just now realising just how powerful this build is). I was easily able to get to wave 6, reaching almost 200k points. On wave 6, I deliberately sabotaged the game by holding onto the object. I don't need credits, but the leeching pugs sure did, and I wasn't in the mood of giving away credits for free. It was funny as hell. One of the pugs started raging on me pretty hardcore, it was absolutely hilarious. They didn't take too kindly to my actions.
I got quite a good laugh out of the whole thing. And I was amazed at the sheer power of the Destroyer, I definitely think this is more powerful than the particle rifle. On wave 6, I was able to hold down the corridor for 3 minutes, destroying everything with the typhoon.

London/reaper. After twice rocketing double banshees, some fool (assuming the host) telling me not to use rockets on a wave 10 hack because of what sounded like "we're on gold".
So I let the next two come in to the circle - lo an behold the host gets grabbed but another pug saves him. He then proceeds to go on a wave 11 spawn nuking rampage to get 1st place - meh, I assume he thinks I needed to use rockets on wave 10 to keep my lead or something silly. Anyway I chill on the other side of the map just sitting in TC (shadow) for the two minutes - ah the benefits of being an infiltrator on extraction.
