I sometimes play using a N7 100 profile (it never gets to 120). The kicking ethos is quite funny, and sometimes annoying. If I have no banner, I often get kicked from Plats. If I display Lone Wolf they leave me be.RainbowDazed wrote...
Two players with N7 < 120 joined my gold-lobby and the other one (with a Slayer lvl 17 or so) tried to kick the other one out. Turned out the other one played solidly with his/her Krogan and the Slayer kept dying constantly and left mid-game. I guess he ran out of medi-gels. Good riddance, I say!
My 3 PUGs last night, it was glitchy bug night:
1. First game, got jammed for the last 4 waves on White under a lump of snow; heading from the LZ to the downwards steps there's an alcove full of snow on the right - I somehow biotic charged off the ledge above and got jammed down there with no escape. Could poke my head out of part of it and shoot (and take damage), the rest was cover. That's a new one on me.
2. Second is an ultra laggy 'French' game including treadmilling on the spot for 2 waves. Most games I get which are hosted with French names - could be they're actually Belgian, Quebec, Algerian or a lost colony in Antarctica with a pondant for Gallic names - have the worst connections imaginable, to the point I now leave lobbies if I see the host has a French name rather than risk 25 mins of frustration. Just what is it, too many flatmates downloading porn on one wifi connection? Ninja'd in to this ongoing game, lots of rubber banding up to 10 metre apart, 1-2 secs for melees/powers/weapons to affect enemies, no idea if I've killed something so keep attacking anyway only to find someone else killed it and is already halfway across the map. Biotic charge kicking in 8 seconds after I pressed it when the wave has already ended and that mook was dead long ago. And then I get the treadmill for 2 waves, can't run anywhere, Krogan melee and biotic charging was all that kept me mobile.
3. Last game was normal, no major glitches or severe lag. Non-buggy games becoming the exception? Sllllightly worrying ....
