Talk about an entire game where the only thing you could see was the enemy lit up like infrared. Everything else was just.... brightness, brightness everywhere.

I saw a video for that, maybe yours?

Totem-pole.

I think this was the first time I've seen a totem pole of enemies on Glacier. I'm used to seeing it frequently on Reactor, but never Glacier. I also found myself a little annoyed. The four of us were all playing biotics (which I find to be an exceptionally rare occurrence), so I stayed with them for a few games. Then suddenly one of them switches to the Havok, and puts on disruptor ammo...

Traumatizing.

I played a couple of games with the same team. The first game (Reapers/Reactor) went great. The second game (Geth/Dagger) I dropped like a fly for a while. I was playing Asari Adept, so I know I'm squishy, but still, something was weird.

Then suddenly I see a Centurian standing beside the Hunter, and I realize what was going on. The host ninja-switched to Platinum between games. We wiped on wave 7, after an excruciatingly horrifying hack in the second LZ that cost us most of our gel, ops, and missiles on wave 6.

Off-host Brawler. I haven't used the Batarian Brawler much on Gold (if at all). Being off host was frustrating. I was functional, but nothing worked on the first press of the button. Probably didn't help that the enemy was Geth.

Funny

Did a U/U/P with two other BOTB's flying their colours. Wound up Hydra/Geth. Worst start ever, many things went very wrong on numerous accounts and someone solo'd very well. We almost all died numerous times, But we didn't.

Pretty ridiculous. Ended up with Reapers on London and 1 of my teammates left immediately. So this new guy joins rocking a Collector Adept with a Particle Rifle. I'm thinking he's about to start wrecking things right? Nope. This guy just runs around the map the entire time hiding while everyone else kills everything. We even got the dreaded Wave 10 center hack and dude still didn't help.

Unbalanced. I don't post much here though I lurk a lot, but I've experienced a couple of things in PUGs (on PS3) recently that have made me want to see if others have encountered anything similar.

I landed midway through wave 1 on Hydra, Reapers, Gold, to find nothing but 2 already executed players. Not a great start, and I guess I should probably have quit but I didn't. What followed was probably the most frustrating game I've played in almost 1000 hours, with every example of typical bad gameplay.

I've never actually witnessed anyone using the off-map glitch on Hydra, nevermind having to listen to abuse from them for not 'joining in' - "Dude, don't you know that if you come over here the enemies will come to you?" Um, yeah, but I also know that I'm playing as a Krogan with a Claymore, so I guess I'll see you at extraction. To be fair, they must have come out a few times as I had a 5 revives medal by the end. I also scored around 160k while they had 9k and 2k (credit to the other guy who came mid-match and managed to finish off wave 8 after my customary Banshee instakill)

The thing that concerned me most was that they just effectively committed suicide once the objective was complete on wave 6, seemingly on the basis that they had successfully leeched as many credits as they realistically thought they could manage. I was given more abuse for playing on through waves 7, 8 and 9, but needless to say I didn't get any thanks for getting us to extraction, when they were too busy firing missiles, obviously.

Has anyone else noticed PUGs just kinda 'giving up' after the wave 6 objective? It's definitely happened to me a few times recently.

Stupid.

Joined a FB Giant/Reapers/Gold match in progress.The game was so bad,can't event describe it.Played as a GE and scored like 150k while others had around 50-60k.Felt like I was soloing,because at one point the PUGs decided they should get sync-killed by Banshees.That was on wave 5.In the end we got Full Extraction (still don't know how) and I left as soon as I got my credits and exp.

Roll over and die stupid PUGs.

I decided to pug some plat and got into a lobby with 2 germans on mic and a micless pug. They set it to Reapers Vancouver Plat to get Vancouver waves. I just went GI Jav, because I wanted a quick and smooth game. The german GJ found it funny, when I spammed the fire button to make the Jav sound. The micless pug was a Krolord and I saved him 2 times from Banshee grabs and he thanked with headbutts, things like that are the reason why I still pug I guess. The 2 germans didn't know that a GI Javelin is that good. lol

That last bit used to be a staple back in the day when most people were starting in MP and to be perfectly honest, it's the coward's way of playing that map. Either learn to play right, or don't play at all. If there's anything else that makes me mad in this game aside from the magnet hands/swords and rocket glitching, it's using the Hydra glitch. I know that map isn't easy but c'mon. At least try. They should have been thanking you for getting their leeching candy asses to extraction. I have several pictures on my cell phone of people using the glitch. Maybe when I get my stuff for my other computer I might make a shame album on my photobucket of these guys using the hydra glitch. That's a thought.

Or the weirdest lag I have ever seen. My Widow X, with HVB, while using cloak specced for damage/sniper damage, still took two headshots to kill Geth Troopers on Gold. And every kill I made, no matter what enemy, counted as a 43 point assist.

Frustrating

Wiped because three people died next to a wall. I had the circle around their bodies indicating I had them targeted for resing, but every time I tried to res, I ended up crouching instead. Merged controls are the worst thing since god invented constipation.

Hard. Gold game with an honest-to-goodness N7 1 and a couple of randoms who either were trying to punch above their weight or were having a bad day. Some solo clutching, a lot of dying, but it was nice to get the newbie through to extraction, even if they were down at the end.

Good and bad.

First game was Hazard White vs. Reapers, Gold. Three biotics + me as FQE. Everybody pulled their weight, awesome game. Sad the host had to leave afterwards, I wanted to switch to the AJA and make it a full biotic team.

Then I get dropped in an in-progress Vancouver, Geth, Gold game. It's the start of wave 3, and it's pizza delivery. The first pizza is okay, but then just as I've fetched the second object (near the room in back, all the way across the map from the LZ) someone nukes the group of enemies on the opposite side of the LZ, causing them all to respawn in between me and the LZ. I tried going down the ladder (since that's where they just nuked everyone, but get cut off by a pyro before I get there). After three deaths with my "teammates" (and I use the word quite wrongly) doing nothing constructive to help (all they were doing was dying elsewhere), I ragequit.

Well I managed to get some Javelin kills which makes me a happy bunny!

All in all, the standard has been pretty good. I guess everyone got a kick up the backside while I was away

Smooth. UUG lottery gave us Collectors on Jade, with wave 10 devices. nevertheless full extraction. Although I suppose it was not entirely PUG since one of the squadmates was on my FL, but joined via random search. still. That's how the PUG should be.
