Vengance on geth.

Decided to take my HEng on his first gold game, got a lobby with another HEng, a GEng, and a VorSol.

TB's and FE's everywhere, the geth barely managed to move out of the spawns due to all the stagger.

Occasionally I popped a geth in the bulb with my viper as a mercy killing, but for the most part I just stood back and laughed at their suffering.

I think he had just unlocked it, was using a SC and HVB, spent the first few minutes firing it at a wall. Still cool to see a pug using it.

Fun
Pugging silver i ran into a n7 17 human adept. He kept trying to heavy melee phantoms, that was fun to watch. 
The other players were more experienced so it was a nice game overall, even though i got a 15 revive medal on him alone.

Yeah, he even killed one! The phantom got ragdolled pretty badly that was awesome. He got synch killed only once which is pretty surprising considering he was charging every phantom he could see head on.

Interesting

While pugging gold I ran into two guys actually talking! (in french) That's gotta be the second time it has happened to me (except the you're welcome i sometimes get when i say thanks for a revive or a synch kill save).
Anyway, one was teaching the other about many things in the game. It was pretty interesting. 
Despite being french myself i didn't join in the chat, the teacher seemed really experienced so i had nothing meaningful to add. Too bad i got disconnected in the second game with them, despite knowing almost everything that was said it was very interesting.

I feel bad for the fourth guy though, if he was not french he must have felt completly lost and annoyed because they pretty much never stopped talking.

Invincible Engineer!

Was scrubbing it up on bronze for character challenges, and at the end of one wave in the middle of reactor the last remaining enemy was an engineer who would not take any damage, but was running around actively shooting all four of us, not static as they usually are when invincible. We proceeded to melee him but he obviously had god mode activated, until the human sentinel threw him straight through the floor.

Why?

Wave 10 hack failure, that could have been a success if the last surviving pug hadn't bled out.

My KroGuard got grabbed by a banshee that teleported through the wall next to him, with the hack 99% done.

The pug was already in the hack zone lying on the floor bleeding, as pugs are wont to do, all he had to do was use one med-gel and stay alive for one second and the hack would have been completed, getting us all those lovely credits.

Did he gel? What do you think.

I'm sure he had some left, as he sure wasn't gelling in the previous rounds, I revived almost every player who went DBNO that game, KroGuard makes a surprisingly good medic.

A shame, as the others played well, and the game was quite smooth up until wave 10 when the banshees started spawning right next to the hack and sync killed the other two pugs almost immediately..

FUN - I <3 playing with new players on PS3

Played some nice and fun gold games with three new beginners (small N7/CP) - and all three were really great teamplayers and used their few missiles/medigels (2 or 3) wisely if needed when I wasn't fast enough to revive them. We stood together and made it through 6 different gold games (different map/enemy settings) with full extractions! There are so many good new players around on PS3, I like how they approach to this game as a team game. I've never been an ego player - only when I'm soloing. But playing with a good team and good synergy is the way I like to play this game the most, so thanks for the great games :happy: Mammut-Panzer567, Mr_ZoMbiE2011 and stewok1980.

Sniping and scorewh**ing

I was leveling adepts with my lvl 17 fatty Volus & Black Widow, Other were two Juggys <.< and a human infiltrator. We got Hazard Dagger Geth (Gold) and the 3 of them spend the whole game sniping in the long corridor. I had to solo all the objectives which was especially painful with the across the lower courtyard escort. And it really started to get on my nerves when device appeared right behind the infiltrator and he just kept on sniping. I actually waited almost two minutes to see if one of them would do the device since I was across the map when it spawned. They didn't.

At least mission was succesfull and I was still 2nd after the Infiltrator.

2-Boring:
It's official i hate the talon merc. Dropped into a silver glacier with two talon mercs who did almost nothing except covering all the spawn zones with cain mines. It was so boring i almost left (but i needed the exp and credits).

1-Awesome:
Had a team with three great guys for two games and we ended up having the quickest silver game i haver had (14 min and 10 or so seconds). So if any of you korkpleesis, rpirzek, MaximOPTI is reading this: thanks, i had a blast playing with you.

Preempted

I had been trying to find a decent host for a few hours to no avail when I finally gave up and started my own UUG game. Once I started it didn't take long for the game to fill and we completed the match.

Back in the lobby I finally see who I had been playing with. Two players in their N7-90s and no gear, and a more experienced player who had been running an AIU (who promptly left after the match). Okay, fine, I'll play with anyone on gold, so I wait for a fourth player and everyone to gear up before I start up again. But it doesn't get that far.

A fourth player sticks around. Higher N7 with a Black Widow 4, but no gear. No one has geared up yet. Already anticipating the need to drag this group to extraction I'm geared as if for plat on a GI/GPS. One of the 90s and the BW have now readied up, and still no gear. And then I lost it.

Someone placed a kick on the un-readied 90. If I were of the kicking type I'd be tempted to kick them all, yet one of these players has deemed another unworthy of playing with? Even if it was the BW, they should have seen the need for gear in what would likely have amounted to a duo!

So I left, and instead of playing the game I came here for this cathartic exercise. I probably would have carried the lot of them (or tried to) if no one had placed a kick vote....

Confusing...

I played a couple of games with this one group..and it seems this one guy and a girl player actually knew each other, but when we made it to extraction, she ended up dying, so back in the lobby there was a kick on her character, both the guy and the girl have mics and the guy automatically accuse me of kicking her...lol.

He tells me to take the kick off of her, but i don't have a mic and before i can shoot him a message stating i didn't kick her...he states.."thats not cool blackgas" and leaves...so i do another quickmatch and drop right back into their game...and the guy states "well look who's back...don't know if he kicked my partner or not but whatev"...weird game and vibe from that point on, but it's only a game...we cleared to extraction then i went on to another lobby...
