Glitchy.

Huge invisible walls on the bottom half of Giant. Could not walk into the part that was between the two ramps at all. Had to quite on wave 3 objective. Another day of nothing but lag apparently because my squad was walking through midair as well.

EDIT:  Arg.  Followed immediaely by a game in which one player was completely invisible and another was stuck in the frozen model death pose for the entire match.  Lovely.

Coordinated.

We got put on Condor/Collectors/Gold, and my only thought was that we were screwed. Nope. Everyone was good, and we worked well together. We went up to the high pass, and just automatically split 2-and-2 for most of the game, and things didn't start getting up there until the end. Only hairy part was Wave 3 hack down in the pit. Wave 6 targets, people called out their missile nukes so there weren't even duplicates. Wave 10 devices, disarmers were well-guarded and distracted from. Revives were there when you needed them. Full extraction. I wish I'd bothered to get their IDs, because I've never had Condor go so well.

Are people really so scared of the rain on Firebase Ghost Hazard that they won't even help do the objectives? I ran into three of the most useless players I've ever seen. They didn't help on objectives, they didn't revive. Pathetic.

Short

Got sent to a gold match (searched for silver) on wave 10 with the objective almost done

got my credits and managed to get a few SR kills in as well (I don't like sniper rifles, but was playing around with the Widow )

If you're gonna camp on a map, maybe try and find a place that can't be hit from literally every other spot on the map. If the hack objective is getting overrun by Praetorians and Scions on Wave 10, what in the hell are you saving your missiles for? And were you guys seriously gonna go into a gold match with zero consumables/gear?

I heard one guy complaining about carrying another dude who kept going down. How are you carrying anybody when I'm the one reviving you AND doing the pizza delivery?

Carriage. Took 3 inexperienced pugs through 2 gold U/U games .
No prob - I don't mind these games as long as mission successful.

Third game playing the Shadow v Cerberus which is the easiest carry mode but had a Phantom climb down a ladder onto my head on Ghost after completing last disable device wave 6.
No support because everyone was dead . Time to move on.

My batarian soldier dropped into wave 4 of a london cerberus match. I died quite a few times, but the 3 pugs died a lot more. Used up a lot of consumables but we made extraction

My SI dropped into Jade Reaper match wave 2. I died on wave 3, couldnt be bothered to gel , bled out, so did the others.

'Great':

1. Search for a random Plat and first thing I see is my corpse hovering on the end of a Phantom's Sword, it's the Dagger startup sync-kill bug. Makes a change from an Atlas I suppose. I Alt-F4 immediately to save my consumables.

2. End up in a Platinum Lobby, host trolls it to Bronze without me noticing. Quit once I realize Wave 1 has just ended moments before it began, and lost some good consumables.

3. Next Platinum Geth PUG ends badly on Wave 1, biotic powers won't work. It's a stun-lock wipe all round. I gel twice then give in. Host gels 6 times and barely manages to kill anything, constant stun-lock, stun-lock, stun-lock.

4. PUG changes it to a Gold, lol OK I'll stay at least I'll get a whole game this time. It's easy, I'm 180K to the host's 50K and 32 seconds from end of Wave 10 I get some lurching, then 25 seconds to go "You have lost your connection ..." ... yet my internet ping is consistently fine. Thanks EA/Origin. Waste of time, loss of consumables, no credits gained number 4

5. Wave 10 Devices on Platinum London, I'm doing the first device, PUG decides to come running over to me with a Banshee in tow, then when she gets too close, they run off so inevitably the very moment I finish the device I'm being grabbed. Luckily there was a very good Juggy who managed to carry the rest of the wave or the other 2 would've wiped. I'd be safer solo'ing.

6. I quit then go searching for another random, it's the same host, oh hell, oh go on, one last game for the night. This time we end up on Goddess Plat. It's fine until Wave 10, I'm doing the devices yet again but the other 3 PUGs stay camped at the other side of the map forcing every boss they kill to respawn right in front of me. Missile, start device, new spawn appears, stop, missile, start device, new spawn, oh screw this ... so I just bleed out on the device and hope one will remember this is a co-op game and they're making it impossible for their only team mate doing the objective. Seriously solo'ing is safer.

Despite all the deplorable bugs glitches and trolling I still really enjoy this game most of the time.

Revive!

Playing with a friend last night who just got the game, so we set it to silver, got Cerberus. Friend of course dies left and right (and didn't know to get out of the reactor) but what really got me was the pug playing a slayer that died more than friend. 15 revive medal and still lots of fun.

My slayer got a reapers Goddess match, team was decent enough but they seemed to keep walking into banshees and match took over 28min. Thank god wave 10 was assassinations.

Took edibot into a cerberus vancouver match. I died a lot, they died ridiculous amount of times, I did my best to play medic. Wave 1-5 i was fine but 6 onwards i started dying a lot. Used up a lot of gel and rockets, esp to clear path to revive people. Wave 9 wipe.

First round was fun with a bunch of drell, second match with the same host I started to lag out and then couldn't take hard cover. It'd just bounce me back. Bloody weird, never encountered that before.

Hosted a series of UUG PuGs that all went reasonably to exceptionally well. There was a fair amount of turnover with most players sticking around for two or three games, but every single one accounted well for themselves. The bad PuGs make me appreciate days like this all the more.

Added bonus: there was a decidedly biotic slant to the games. Most fun by far was PA (me), Slasher, ACA, and Huntress on Rio vs Cerb.

Had time for a single game this morning before heading to work. Searched for a UUG and got into a very very nice lobby. Everybody on the mic!

Was a great, fun Hydra/Reapers Gold game with a Geth Smash Team (2 GE's, a GI and a Jugg).

We even dith the "Geth dance"!!

One of those days you wish you could play some more!! :-)

I can't believe how awful repair matrix is off host. Cost me 3 gels in quick succession, so I just left the game, never playing AIU off host ever again.
