Host changes to Platinum when I enter the lobby so I leave

Newbs

2 newish players and 1 very new player sub N7 100 (Host of course) preset to U/Geth/G

so I decide that my Melee Paladin probably isn't the best idea so swop to the QFI but they all ready up while I'm changing equipment and half of it is now a waste. We end up on Rio with the Shuttle on tap all game and I solo 6 waves I think? Lone Survivor too and it seemed to take forever.

I've now got the smallest CP @ 54K and everyone else is a Adept so swop to my Melee HA. We get Haz Ghost/Reapers and a real fun match

Buggy.

Joined a game in progress on ghost and got myself on the wrong end of a phantoms sword on wave 10.

The screen went weird for a second, then I went into the usual spectator mode for the rest of the wave.

But when wave 11 started, I was still stuck in spectator mode, I didn't get to respawn!

Never seen that bug before.

First, a Hazard Glacier match where the swarm was invisible. That was fun...

Second, a bunch of fairly new players, leading to my first ever score over 200k.

A Flamer Vorcha, melee Reegar GJ and suicide HV on FBGRG.. Of course they nuked spawns on objectives and extraction and did not give a damn about our 2 pizzas(that's ok, they're mine!) and 1 escort we had.

Ridiculous.
4 players, but basically a duo. Some lag made matters worse. After wave 4 the other two just leeched, tried figuring out the missile glitch, and finally stayed in extraction while using ops packs and gels until they ran out. Felt bad when the other person actually playing dropped with less then a second left.

 Difficulty switching
I played bronze since it had been 5 days since my last game and i needed to level up my engineer. Dropped into a lobby with two n7 > 3000 and high CP. That game went alright.
So we finish this and then the host decides to switch to gold... I think, "hell, why not?", they seemed sensible players enough.
The game ended up with me and the other high n7 clutching everything past wave 5. The end score was 160 K (The Juggy) 130K (me, lvl 14 HA, my highest leveled class at the time) 40K (Host) 15K (Last pug).
Now, to be fair, the last pug had a lvl 1 cabal with a predator. He joined a bronze lobby after all.
In the end i died 30 seconds to extraction (damn phantoms) with everyone else bled out after extraction zone camping.

Then i wondered why the host used gels in bronze and not in gold.. The juggy was an extreme rage geller wich likely cost us extraction but he did great overall.
Well at least the new guy got his credits.

Yep, good game :happy:.
After you left we got two low-n7-randoms with avengers but with reasonable loadouts and equipment, so we decided to go for t. It was a duo after round 3, because they decided to use their two gels in round two...

Had a Krogan following me and spamming Shockwave for 11 FULL WAVES without stopping. Bleh.

1) good
Host was competent jugg . Two other pug were ok. I used no consumables in geth glacier match until I needed to gel because I tried to revive a pug on wave 11.

2) bugged
Dropped into a reaper London match. Was a full adept team of competent players but I kept getting random lag and I suspect the others did too . We extracted but I went through a lot of gel and revive

1) horrible
i was hosting as asari vanguard. we got collectors White. I died on wave 1, the rest of the match was not much better. One pug left around wave 6. the other stepped up and started using gel and rockets, was actually not a bad player just had rubbish manifest.

2) i switched to collector adept, decent player switched to Juggernaut. we got two new pugs, one left v quickly so it was just a useless low n7 vanguard. We got Cerberus Rio. Juggy and I did everything, i didnt need to use any consumables except one rocket to save the juggy and one gel on wave 11. First time ive scored over 200k in a match, although it was mostly only 3 players.

Wave 2 Platinum Collectors on Hydra and there were 3 possessed scions left. Jesus, I've never seen so many grenades tossed at once. Someone would die, then be revived, then get staggered by 15 grenades, then get shot, then die again, then the person reviving would die... I think I got 15 revives just on that wave alone.

Quick! 20 min for my first plat!

I played my very first plat game ever. I search for a silver game, then the host seeing we all are >500 N7 with good CP switches it to gold, then plat.
I then switch to my trusted HA put on my best equips, and everyone does the same!

We get white/collector, then the host decides to leave at wave 2... Everyone stays and we are joined by a fourth (FQI) which proves to be very competent.
We didn't extract but 20min and some for my first plat game is a win.

Had to clucth the end of wave 10 with 2 banshees a possessed praetorian and a prime though...

I thank everyone in that game if they happen to be on here, especially the batarian vanguard, he helped a lot by detonating my warps with his biotic charges. Too bad i did not write down their names.

Ooh, I've run into him as well. He always bails as soon as I pop into the lobby, except I get a kick vote on me first. Glad to see I'm not the only one who apparently offended him in some fashion.
