Everyone else died on gold/collector/ghost wave10 hack mission barely a quarter through and I finished the hack alone. They then preceded to all camp the EZ whilst I watch from the distance as their revive icons popped up in quick succession.

I'm playing Huntress (no shock there). The other 3 guys are playing tech kits. One is a demolisher, the other a turian, the other guy I forget. These guys were all N7 +10K and CPs were all +25K. This gold game should be a cake walk for us. The loadouts were okay.
We get dropped on White Hazard/Reaper. These guys make a B-line over the bottom area (where the Hack obj usually appears). I scratch my head for a moment. Anyway wave 1 starts and I go off doing my Huntress thing. All things dead. These guy were camped in picking off the strays I didn't kill. Still scratching my head.
Wave 2 starts and I continue the killing spree. I get a message from host so I hide for a moment to read it: "Care 2 work with the rest of the team?" Huh? Does he not realize we are playing GOLD on WHITE HAZARD??!!! What good is camping OUTSIDE going to do as far as 'teamwork'? I ignore the message and continue killing assuming he'd get on the mic and explain what the h*ll he's talking about. Nope.
Wave 3 starts and it's devices. Device 1, no problem. It spawn a few meters away from me. Guys are still camping. Device 2 spawns and it's a bit further away. I had to fight my way to it. I was using Damage TC instead of Duration TC or else I would've ran right past the mobs. They are still camping. Device 3 spawns LITERALLY next to the guy playing demolisher and he didn't even budge to disable it. They are still camping. Device 4 spawns and I make my way to it and disable it. Finished off the rest of the mob and these guys are STILL camping. You can ascertain that I was pissed about this point.
Wave 4 starts and the host rage-quits. I was like WTF??!! I go into Message Center (xbox) and wrote a 'nice' reply back. "Work? You guys were camping and didn't even help with devices. If you're recording a video or working on a one-off gameplay then turn on your mic and explain next time." For some odd reason I decided to check my profile and these ****holes decided to mark me as "Unsporting"... ummm what??!!!
So to UnknownTechnique, Stag1972, and HammerFailsCheck (not their actual xbox names) lay off the scrub tactics. A personal note for UT, you realize that StimPacks will blind you in FBW Haz when you're standing outside, right? So what good is YOUR teamwork for everyone else when you can't see and not using the Geth Scanner? Alright then.
It only goes to show you that you can't really on viewing a person's N7, CP, or loadout to verify their actual skill or strategy. Can't be too mad. At least I didn't have to yell at them for not using consumables.
Edit: Also reaffirms what I've said about taking Duration cloak over damage when dealing with scrub teams. I'm respecing my Huntress again.

Lol. Had something similar. Dropped into Gold game on Rio v Cerberus. Where is everyone?.
Ok near the box of shame. 3 Krogans hiding ! Playing Batsol and just killed everything on other side of map so dont think they saw too many enemies to kill . Never got any hostile comments but definately felt like the odd one out and left after game.

You mean out behind the old geth camping room? I had a team hiding out there a couple of days ago on PC. They did come out for objective waves though. I decided to join them there, just for something different. It's been a while since I actually tried to "Hold the Line" other than hacks. That is an terrible place to camp. Too many ways for the enemy to come to you, and if you get overrun, well, the whole lot of you are now trapped in a corner. I spent the whole match dancing circles around brutes and banshees while reviving people every few seconds.

Oh no-no-no-no-no-no. THAT would make too much sense if these were noobs trying to camp on Gold. These guys were 'pros'. To illustrate the mastery of their strategy, I'm adding a map with their positioning. They were camping the area in blue and shown as blue circles for their positions. I had the area highlight in purple. Keep in mind, this is Hazard with low visibility.Count Silvershroud wrote...

Luckily a few games a later I found a better squad of people to play with. We played 5 straight, stress-free games. I didn't even mind the guy who tried to blow me up with an a-bomb on wave 10. lol

About 30 seconds into each wave, they got pushed back to that little balcony area on the bottom far right of that map (the squareish area with the low cover in the middle). A few seconds later they would die, I would draw the enemies off the balcony, then run in and revive them. 20 seconds later, the process would repeat, and so on all game.
It was almost amusing how dead-set they where on their obviously failing strategy. And I was having far too much fun essentially succeding in their strategy by myself, while the three of them where failing. They rewarded me by reviving me into a Banshee synckill during extraction.

I envy you there. Aside from when occasional BSNers from my friends list join me, I almost never find even a single competent player on gold. The occasional game carrying people can be fun, but it's nice to play a bit with better players. I'm kind of tired of always knowing that if I screw up and get synced just once, the game is probably over. Much more relaxing when I can think "if I screw up, oops, oh well, X player will keep the game alive.

I play as justicar usually on gold but this platinum totally different, the thing I can do only use the sphere, stacks reave and few shooting. Pull absolutely useless.
I plays 2 rounds and then leave to lobby.
Thanks BSNer PUGs for playing but I m not ready for that.

That sounds like the EXACT same game I had a month or so ago. Players camped down below where there is about 4 palces the enemy can shoot you from, insisted that it was the best place to be on the map, left me to do most of the objectives and sent me a real snotty message at the end.

Played a game with the Incisor HFI (one of my favorite setups), London/Reaper. It was a nice little trio, featuring a BW Infildrell and what I think was a Mantis Juggy. The Wave 10 center hack went off without a hitch, but I messed up he Full Extraction by toeing over the line at the last second. Still a nice 202k.

Sorry
So it was Vancouver Collectors Gold and I was my QMI. My team was a Valkyrie, Collector Adept, and a Vorcha. It was a normal match until extraction. Less than 5 seconds left and the extraction area swarmed, I just chucked the last 2 Arc nades i had and killed a Possessed Abomination killing us all just as time ran out....SERIOUSLY!!!

THat's what I get for trying to pug plat. They're camping that back hallway on Glacier, complete with a melee only Puggernaut. It's maddening. And I'm so not good enough to just run off on my own. At least they're nice and they do objectives.
EDIT: I take it back. THey followed me to every single device objective. This went about how you'd expect. I hopped on the mic and asked if they'd stop and then they went off on a rant about me not putting the pylon where they can use it in the back hallway. Going back to gold after this. At least there I can have fun.

so it's an orignal map of glacier O_o; plus with a error on stairwell cause that halway is narrow as heck
thats a old reposition farm tatic thats not 100% as good as the orignal GGG runs they'd have to synergize so much as too many flukes just ..wreck this combo, the recent change of that new hall stairwell harms postion back door as foes can fire from the stairs there now
the second room opening they made was to block the other tatic which is the middle room lock down, not commonly used
from my point of view it's not a bad setup but it's as oen would say...boreing...and is rare to see people doing that nowadays

FRUSTRATION.
On extraction they camped the EZ the whole time - the geth juggernaut died more than I did :/
I ended up using all my missiles on the endless procession of phantoms and atlases to ensure we survived until the timer was up.
I'm trying to break into gold as I have been playing silver happily for ages. I can tank as a Geth Juggernaut reasonably and have done so a couple of times on gold, on one occasion having done a run of Geth/Gold/Vancouver with another PUG Juggernaut as my only ally. I have also had reasonable success with base human sentinel, claymore alliance infiltrator and ex-cerberus adept.
I really would like to have some people to communicate and play with - happy to try anything and learn/ do teamwork. I have most chars unlocked - missing 7 or 8. Have many rare weapons on low to middling levels and a couple of ultra rares as well. I play on PC and live in the UK - let me know if you want to play.
