I'd been happily playing with a decent enough Justicar for my previous Gold match so I stayed on for another game. I switched up to a Krogan Sentinel (power build with maxed out incinerate and lift grenades). A QMI joined us and another Krogan Sentinel whose N7 and CP were higher than mine (rare enough!) so I thought it would go smoothly. Anyway, it was Cerberus, HazardGlacier and it all started very well. However the other KroSen started railing at me for not being a proper Krogan and headbutting those f***n phantoms (instead of sensibly removing their barriers with my acolyte before unleashing the incinerate/lift grenade combo of doom).

Fine, melee those phantoms all you want buddy...two sync kills later, he rage quit and left the three of us to finish the game. Took a little longer, but was oddly satisfying.

A krogan pug headbutted with me on cerberus jade. He deserved my curry, host was a pyjak.

Puggeriffic.

I was on my alt account, and decided to pug a gold while waiting for some friends to finish a plat match. Decided to take my Saboteur for a spin and got a krogan sentinel (vanilla not warlord), a Mantis wielding GI. and a Ghost with a Mattock. I should have known that stuff was about to go south real fast cause the krosent decided on this bright idea on staying by the ammo crate that overlooks the LZ area. The other two and I do the tradition high-ground strat on FBW. Which is working for the most part. Then wave 4 comes, these guys obviously couldn't handle the dragoon rush. I sabotaged and headshotted my way through the game. Not to mention I practically soloed all the waves. I got them up when I could but for the most part I kept getting cut off by all the mooks. Not so much the Atlases. We ended up wiping on wave 10 cause by that time I was out of gels and op packs. Not how I wanted to start my night of playing.

Gratifying...

I'm kinda shocked i fell into a lobby where a couple of folks had mics on and where judging folks by their N7 ranking. As soon as i dropped into the lobby, one guy stated "he's has an N7 ranking of 120!!!...naw man boot this guy"..his partner stated "look at his challenge points tho..he has alot"

Now i'm not the greatest player..even this late in the game, but i know i can hold my own, and while the lobby filled up, i had one kick option on my banner...ok so we load up. i think was Rio/Banshees/ gold. These guys wasn't even that good (dying here and there etc)....one of 'em was about to be synced by a banshee, and i shot a missle to save him and his partner stated "that guy you wanted to kick saved your ass"...heh.

Long story short...we cleared the match and not to sound cliche`or anything but i topped the board by a huge margin over these guys, (who were at the 3rd and 4th slots) all you heard was those two saying "man that guy topped the board!!..he was kicking some major ****"...hilarious stuff....shortly afterwards the host left...these types of games (along with those that i drop in with a bunch of red skulls..i absolutely love those) are the games that i like.

Usually i don't fall for thee okee-doke, because at this stage in the game i don't have anything to prove, i've always played for fun, but really i just wanted to prove to these guys that an N7 ranking really doesn't mean anything.

A fully equipped shadow joins the lobby so i'm happy... then I notice they have the adaptive war amp V equipped... i sent a message, hoping ok maybe they forgot to change their gear slot after switching characters... I get a response "Why not?"..... lol ffs If u don't know i'm not tellin u... goodbye..

Professional

Landed in a lobby where I ended up the lowest in CP rating (not so common nowadays). We got Dagger - reapers, and had 8 waves survived (so close to that elusive 10ws PUG!). I think there were only two downings in the entire game. Not uber quick (19 min) but as smooth as you could ask for with a nice blend of spreading out and coming together to wipe banshees out as quick as you like. This kind of game is why some people (not me!) say gold is too easy!

Joined a lobby of 3 guys on mic. Was set to UUG and got jade geth. I decided to go easy mode with Arc Pistol TSent. One was farming Paladin points with GI for the pistol challenge. He didn't get 1000 points by w3 and said I was dominating and he should have used the Arc Pistol instead, but he had no idea how good it was. They also asked a few times if it wasn't set to silver or bronze. I hope I showed those 3 pugs the light that is the Arc Pistol. lol

I've met one today in FBW.  Could it be the same player? 

Was it me on PC? I like to headbutt. But sadly manners are down nowdays. Rarely any headbutts given back.

Good.

Cerberus/HazReactor/Gold. A kroguard, a Kroldier, and a flamerless Vorcha Soldier plus my Justicar. A surprising amount of teamwork for a PUG. I had enough lag to make me die while setting my bubble a bit too often, (I was counting on the BE to kill Dragoons/Phantoms, but the BE got delayed for the better part of a second) but it was still a very fun game. I did get microwaved once, but that may have been my own fault, as I hadn't noticed anyone else near the buttons in the few seconds prior to it, so I may have pushed one while trying to start running/dodging.

Also, the Krogans headbutted between waves several times, so that made me happy.

Edit: Anyone else having trouble with Origin friends playing the Titanfall beta?  I had messages about someone playing TF, then going offline seconds later, than playing TF, then going offline, and so on every 5 seconds or so for a good half hour before he finally went offline for good.

1) grim.
Reapers Jade, the other 3 players looked promising in the lobby but they spend most of the match dying. I had to solo two waves , during the first one, one of the pugs got bored and left . I got a message mid match from another saying he was sorry but he had no gel.
2) slow
my human adept landed in a reaper ghost match in progress with huntress and fury and a havok. the fury did not teleport at all, not sure she had dark channel either. Was a slow match, again the pugs kept dropping dead all the time. At least the fury was nice enough to save me from a banshee using a rocket on wave 11 .

Suspicious.

Raises my eyebrow when I join a game in progress, and

- my barrier maxes out at about ~10% of the bar, and not just on spawn but for the entire match

- the host is a Paladin running around charging pairs of Scions, with a Predator, and killing them with maybe 1-1.5s firing ea. Oh, and seemingly never using his powers and with just the first weapon damage bonus in the passive, no further...

I'm sure a well-modded Predator X + Armor Piercing IV + Targeting VI III might have some DPS with perfect headshotting, but... it was Bronze, and using that amount of consumables on Bronze seems odd. Even if you're going for pistol challenges, that's by score and not by wave, so a higher difficulty would be more efficient.

Not good...

Not sure what was going on, but i was playing White/gold/cerberus one of my favorite maps and while the group was crappy (nobody was gellin' when they got waxed) i still felt i could carry this sorry group.

I was able to clutch wave 7 when everybody wiped, then i couldn't clear it again for wave 8.

Okay...for the next match i stayed with the same group, i threw on some cyclonics 3 for the phoenix vanguard (i usually roll with power amps) but something just wasn't right...this time we got to wave 10...cleared the upload, but then everybody died shortly afterwards. i had 3 phantoms trailing me and dead teammates lined up in a row in front of me.

I wasn't going to try to revive because the phantoms were drilling me in the back, but everytime i would try to run, the game would try to revive the downed teammate, resulting in the 3 phantoms catching up to me and downing me.(and sitting right on top me afterwards)..after that it was just ridiculous gaming mechanics as in as soon as you revive, the phantoms would not let you do anything...run dodge, roll...etc...ended up dying...just a pair of bad games...

Collectors Condor. I was using the widow, and only about 2/3 of my shots did any damage. Arrived in the middle of wave 1 to see 2 skulls and then hear team mate down . We got to wave 8, and I still had 5 gels. Then I get cornered as my team mates get taken out one by one. I go down. I gel, and dead before I have control. Again I gel, again I'm dead right as I get up. I try one more time, then bleed out. LAG, I hate you I hate you I hate you!

Unfortunately after a month+ of origin being cheap and not letting me play, my skills had gone to hell.
I was a stupid to think i could try tsent + argus for the first time vs geth without consequence

Think the wave 10 cleanup missile was the only memorable thing i did. Ah those primes, so nice to them to stand close to each other:devil:

Strrrrongest!

Played 3 matches with one group of pugs who at start didn't look wery promising in the lobby but then we proceded to get 10 waves survived vs geth on reactor. Almost got it on the next two runs again.
I was brushing up on my BP mastery so used all 3 vorcha, and the fun really kicked in when I took the Graal. My oh my, been neglecting this one b/c I don't host very often, but I know now i've been missing on a lot of fun.
My new Vorcha weapon - all of them.
