Did 5 Pugs today. First two were sh*t, wave 9 I got sync-killed and the two Juggernauts couldn't stay on their feet for long, down to the last Juggernaut and all he had to do was use a missile to clear some banshee and brute buildup. Instead he strolls around putting up his hex-shield and I see the rocket on his back that he could have easily used but didn't! I wanted to use my mic and tell him to use his damn rocket but that lobby was a Spanish speaking lobby, so yeah ugh!

Next game Geth/Rio/Gold, team wipes on wave 7, getting pretty P.O'd now and thank god that the next 3 games restored my faith in Pugs, the next 3 were all full gold extractions, everyone using their equipment and pitching in.

Surprising.

U/U/P, with 3 random people, Got hazard ghost vs geth. 5 waves survived, but only me and another guy extracted.

Entertaining.

U/U/G PUG, ended up being Cerberus on Hydra. PUGs kept dying. Have Gold revive medal by mid wave 5. Juggy managed to stay alive most of the time, but ignored objectives. Used him as a nuke point on waves 8 & 9. Worked well. Atlases & Phantoms seem to love the Jug. In the end, Lone Survivor. Jug was a couple seconds too late to extraction. The other two, not surprisingly bled out early in the wave. Love watching the Jug ragdoll Phantoms.

Infuriating.

Reactor/Cerberus/Gold, dropped in on wave 2 and got a gold revive medal by wave 7. Soloed wave 8 and wave 10 starting with the last device. Lone survivor. Thank f*** PUGs like that are rare for me.

I'm not sure but i think 3 guys did pug lottery with me, i was the fury with the eagle, they all switched to the same haha so 4 fury adepts running around.

Hehe, nice.  Don't often see that many adepts running around like that these days.  The boom-bang-a-bang must have been fun.


My own?  In a word: meh.
I'm still fairly new to Gold and a little self-conscious so it's always randoms for me.  Still a bit hit n miss as to whether I extract (usually dependent on my survivor/medigel pack stocks...) and still several wipe outs in round 10 but still fun.

Smooth

Was playing Glacier/Cerberus/Gold and everyone had on their best equipment. Made me feel kind of sad since I was the only one with T3 ammo and amp stuff while everyone else had t4 stuff. Was my first sub 20min gold game in a while.

First we did a bait and switch from bronze to plat. Guy was a level 6 Collector with Adas III and possibly a GPSMG. No equipment since we switched. He managed to stay alive through wave 1 and bleed out (to be fair, he did his best. He probably only has 2 gels) every waves after that. We failed on wave 7 when I got dragged across the room by a Banshee and fell below the map and didn't get revived.

Next we pugged a plat and got a friend joining as a pug. So we needed up a really smooth match where people gelled and revived and did objectives. Pleasant.

RAGE.

Game was lagging, i couldnt detonate explosions, geth stunlock. On top of that, two krolords basically refused to do the wave 3 drone escort objective, leaving me and asari adept to do it. Wave 6, they refused to do assassinations. I rocketed two of them then died and gave up, the other two died and bled, leaving one krolord who did actually use rockets to wipe out the last 2 targets and then finished wave alone (I wanted the match to end so was hoping he would die). Waves 7-9 both krolords die a lot and never gel. Wave 10, they go off and die, leaving asari and I to do 4 devices alone.

Wave 11, they all go to LZ and die. I get cornered and die. Used up all gel rockets and ops packs. Turned off xbox
