Just dropped in to see what's new, and I see Crimson posted. Totally worth a peek.

That's the only word I can describe it as.

 

Giant/Cerb, thought it was modded at first because absolutely ZERO phantoms and many enemies getting stuck at and below spawns. But then I started to die for no reason at all, several times - at first had no idea what was going on, but by wave 9 I figured it must be invisible phantoms.

Not showing in the kill feed or on the map. Only finally noticed by teammates apparently shooting at nothing.

 

In fact now I think of it there were zero assault troopers and centurions in the later waves - so they must have been invisible as well. All I could see were engineers, guardians, nemeses and atlases...

 

Engineers didn't put down turrets, or so I thought... turrets must have been invisible too!

 

In wave 9 I was randomly dying too many times - was getting silly so I quit. Was playing shadow so not like I could carpet the place with lolliftgrenades or similar.

 

Strange thing is this was the second match with the same host - first match was reaper/gianthaz, everything visible no bugs.

Amazing. 3 UUG, all sub 20, super smooth and even one biotic boom squad (3 biotics and 1 Talon Merc, close enough   ). Would've done a few more runs with that team but RL kicked in.

did the first few waves solo and this GE joined at the start of wave 4, and I am not exaggerating when I say they were one of the worst players I've encountered in this game. they had a harrier and a valiant and they were still dying every 20 seconds and barely killing anything. how???????? I thought it'd be over after I got shanked by the phantoms magnet sword. as i was spectating, i noticed this person facing towards the floor the whole time. now it all made sense as to how someone could be so bad at this game.  the one saving grace was a puggernaut who joined at the nick of time and took 5 minutes to kill the last atlas

Surprising

 

I had the chance to try out my brothers account with zero hours invested into MP. I started rolling with human adept to see how I'll fare with a blank manifest (gift weapon  was eagle and kit was juggernaut ofc ). First match was bronze as I was only lvl 1 but that was just facemashing through mooks. Next I upped to silver and played 4-5 games until I was lvl 16. No problems at all on silver either..

 

Then I upped to gold and cunningly searched for reapers match to get into match in progress so the others wont kick me . I did two gold matches with only eagle 1, pistol scope 1 and responder gear 1 (5% shield rercharge) not consumables as I didn't have any suitable.. I was amazed how well I did, I scored 2nd and first with two different teams (scrubs for sure and some with 2k N7 rating) and 2 medigels and ops packs was more than enough when you know you have to play safely. Singularity + warp is just that good. I've always liked the human adept but now I really learned to appreciate him/her.

Geth soldier,Turian engineer, salarian Engineer and me (phoenix vanguard) Vancouver/gold/geth....powers was synching very well throughout the entire group a couple of guys wiped a few times but the synergy was great. Excellent pug group.

Messing around GE build and Indra, I searched for gold, landed in GIP platinum reapers giant. Sorry guys for bailing so late in the match, but there was a fresh home made pizza involved. I'm sure you understand, and since everything was going so well, I believe you got it done with no problem.

Is there a language that has one word for a dog humping a football? German maybe? Because that would be the word. UUP, 2 juggs and a TGI. 3,000 cool points between them. I was using a flameless trooper. We get giant, yay! Collectors, awww. I'm not a fan of hanging out in the LZ, but I figured those guys could hang there and maybe stay alive while I did most of the killing. Only they didn't stay there. Out into the open they wandered, and in the first 15 seconds of wave 1 both juggs are down. I think I was running about even between revives and kills. We made it through wave 4 or 5, and after the TGI got sync killed, and one juggy got stomped, I tried to revive the second jugg and got picked up by a banshee. Best thing that possibly could have happened.

I've been away from the forum for a while.  You know peeking in and out, and now just getting back into it and I find some of the most hilarious stuff that people have witnessed playing this game.  I’ve been laughing all day at some of the things I’ve read.   I started playing with the first game of the trilogy, and I will more than likely continue to play ME3 when the new set comes out.  It’s just a great way to wind down at the end of the day. 

 

But all in all, playing MP I think most people have forgotten that they too were once beginners.
