Ended up getting Geth on Ghost. My Venom wielding Salarian Engineer teammate helped me make short work of them.

I was going hard on London/Reaper/Gold and got some hate for being a bit too trigger-happy and finishing off enemies that others had weakened. I joined on second wave and was down 7k but managed to come around at the end for coming in first by just over 2k points. One of my best rounds on Gold and not a single down, which is new for me. Team was good but people weren't too happy with me

Finally some good pugs. Forgot the name of the 2, I played platinum Reapers, probably one of the easiest pug plat match I've ever been with.

They were pretty poor, and two of them felt the need to bleed out away from the hack circle.

Just running silver games trying to figure out good setups for gold. Finally found a decent one, which is the main plus...but my teammates were *AWFUL*. Like, horribly, HORRIBLY bad. Dying against single normal trooper bad. It didn't help we were on acid rain Ghost. They were running around out in the rain, getting downed time after time...and then we got wave 10 devices >.>

At which point they decided the best course of action was to run around wildly, dying like usual. In the end I took care of three of the devices using them as cannon fodder, but by the fourth device two of them had been bled out by Phantoms and the third was hiding in a corner somewhere. I ended up using my missiles to take out a turret and a few more Phantoms, then my normal weapons to kill 10-ish guardians and a few engineers before the area finally cleared out a little bit. The last person alive(who was actually somewhat decent) finally showed up at this point, allowing me to complete the final device.

Wave 11. Everyone else runs straight to the extraction point. Well, except for the worst of the bunch, who proceeded to run straight at two atlases and two phantoms, get downed, and ragequit when I didn't run in to save his sorry ass. The other two then got downed shortly after, while I watched in a horror that approached psychotic amusement by this point(you cant see people die more than a few dozen times before it starts getting funnier and funnier each time). At the very end, I was all out of rockets...but I didn't care. I lured all the enemies to one side of the map, cut around the back way off the ladder, and ran virtually unimpeded to the LZ. 

Five seconds later I extracted without barely a shot taken.

I ended up outscoring the best of the bunch by over 50000 points.

Normally I'm the last person to call someone a noob/scrub; I'm basically a one myself.

But when you completely ignore the drone objective? And then one by one run into the waiting arms of a brute only to get mercilessly beaten to death, leaving me to solo the objective for you? No mercy.

Then they ran straight to EZ at the end. Amazingly enough they all survived, but I still outscored the best of them by 40000 points using a sentinel. They got lucky this time, but sooner or later, they're gonna get annihilated >.>

Awesome! I was able to take Shadow to full glory yesterday. I got everything: Cerberus, multiple decapitations, Atlas killing melee, Phantoms all over the place and no SS went wasted.

Two PUGs tonight.

 

First one was decent-ish. Full lobby of a questionable nature, but put equipment on, so I stayed. Everyone else was biotic, so I switched from GI Jav to Valkyrie Sentinel. We got Rio/Reapers/Gold. Host was AFK and kicked out by start of Wave 2. Someone else bailed during the host migration. So, I duoed a bit until a Fury showed up. About halfway through the match my original duo partner disappeared from the game and we got a Geth Engineer. Rest of the game was a trio. Geth Engie had trouble staying up, but he was really, really good with popping his healing turret at my feet at the exact moment I needed it. Fury and I had to duo the last half of waves 8 and 9, though. Got it done, Geth Engie sat in LZ the whole time, so obviously he got killed. Fury and I extracted.

 

Last game was Geth/Condor/Gold. It was terribad. Half my GI Jav shots weren't connecting despite being totally lined up with the target. Baaaaad lag. I had to clutch a wave. A Fury (not same from previous game) had to clutch another wave. The host was 100% useless, N7 58 Novaguard that died at the start of every wave just about (reminded me of the "good ol' days", actually). Despite it all, we almost made it. Wave 10 devices. I capped the first three with no issue. Until the team decided to hunker by me as I finished the third device. They all went down as I was finishing and were out of gel. I got Geth Prime stunlocked and killed. With no gel left myself, it was fission mailed with one device to go. Curses.

I don't even want to talk about it. I soloed devices on hazard reactor/cerberus/platinum wave 3 while all others were bleeding out inside the reactor. It is probably the worst place to camp in the entire map IMO. Actually, pretty decent company included players with 10K-20K CP and 1K-5K N7, all geared up, melee jug, melee krolord, and either GI with wraith or vorcha, don't remember. After I finished the devices, I told that if I want to solo I would solo, so if they bleed out so would I which I promptly did. I'm still puzzled why they decided that parking inside the reactor in the place where the hack circle is, is such a good idea. I tried to tell by end of wave 2 seeing that they obviously struggled but of course they did not listen. I think I got 60K points while all the rest did not get over 20-25K. A sad story indeed, I'm not sure what was their problem. Actually, probably the worst platinum pug I ever played. If there is a full team that looks that competent, it is usually enough to go through wave 10 objectives with 90% chance of extraction. I'm usually very lucky with pugs. Don't know what happened today.

Surprising

 

When I pug most of the time it doesn't turn out pretty. If there is at least one other person in the lobby with the same or better skill level than me its usually no problem carrying people, but I give up quickly if I'm the only one doing work. #ain'tnobodygottimeforthat But I managed to come across a lobby with some great players. Two fury adepts, asari huntress (me) and a shadow. Got stuck on a wall about wave 8 though reviving the shadow while being chased by banshees and was sync killed. Worth it though since the shadow made it out and got us to 9. But all in all it was a good game. Wish I could have more like that.

As I was loading into the lobby, I heard two of the people talking on the mic; one guy seemed nice enough but the other guy was already setting off my Summer's Eve alarms: "I'm the best at this game, none of my friends can beat me."  No joke, that is verbatim.  I almost got on the mic to whisper "co-op", but I don't like letting this sort of clown know I'm listening or that I'm a grill.  I'm still loading in and they start discussing my loadout.  Asari Adept with a  scoped Talon because I felt like stasis sniping a bit and some adrenaline gear on.  Before I finally made it out of the load screen they started giving instructions telling me to switch to cyclonics and take off the "toilet paper mod" (the scope) because the talon is for up close and there's no point in boosted speed.  I readied up.  They kick voted me.  I lolled.  Wish I could remember their loadouts: the silent one and the nice guy seemed viable but the other dude had on something really odd and I can't remember what.  AP on a projectile gun or something like that.

Very next lobby was a drell adept, volus sentinel, I switched to my tech burst human sentinel (eagle and disruptor ammo), and a vanilla human adept who ws spanky new and completely unequipped.  At first it seemed like he was leeching but he did seem to actually be trying (and failing most of the time but giving it a good effort after the first few waves).  I stuck to the drell like glue and detonated all of his booms for him.  The volus mopped up anything we missed with his recon mine.  The human adept was, admittedly, mostly useless, but the other three of us were having a blast.  It's always funny to get 50 assists by wave 7 and still only come out with a 60k score.  Detonators curse.

Vindication!

 

After my PS3 froze on the first match this morning and I was lucky enough to get WFOP on the second I finally landed in an actual game. FBW, Reapers, Gold. I was rolling with my Phoenix adept. There was an AHI and a Collector adept so there was much biotic fun had by all. The fourth was a juggy. Great game to all involved. The Claymore wielding huntress outscored me while the other two were both sub 60K but rarely went down.

 

Given that I only had time for one game before work, it was a lot of fun :-)

Playing with 1 friend and 2 puggers, U/U/Silver (I'm not up for Gold or Platinum yet).  Got Hazard Ghost vs. Cerberus, and 2 escort missions through the acid rain.  At least the drone keeps your shields up.  Unless you get knocked out of its circle by missiles, or driven away by phantoms.  Into the waiting embrace of a turret.  My friend and I both wound up spectating while the puggernaut clutched for us.  Glad he did, but with a name like YouHumansAreRacist he really should have been playing a turian.

Blargh. Tried my tsent with harrier, instead of my usual trusty c.a.r. For some reason had really trouble staying alive in silver, no matter who was against and what map. I had gear too, not too different than what I usually use. I guess harrier has some bullet magnet installed. Surely that must be the reason and not something else...

I played with one friend and two strangers...we had a couple of good gold matches then we had one great Plat match..A salarian infil, a volus something and a turian infil, and me a destroyer. Plat can be incredibly fun with the right group...and give me the Giant map all day loong! Plat can go horribly wrong if you sleep for just a few seconds tho....you can get overrun pretty quickly, if you start to slack. We even held the line at extraction...just a great group.
