Historic.

For me at least.  I noticed that I'd played 3999 games after last night's session and thought about inviting some friends to mark my 4000th.  But ultimately I'm just a pug so that's what I went for.  It took about 5 attempts to find a game, which turned out to be already in progress - wave 2 Ghost/Reapers/Gold with an AIU on her own joined by my BatSol/Talon - my most-used kit (at least 1500 waves, though often with the Wraith). Everything was mostly hunky-dory until I got grabbed just after killing the last target on wave 10.  The same fate had already befallen the AIU and sadly the Drellguard who had joined us didn't manage to finish the wave  :(

They both changed to Batguards in the lobby and I stayed for two more super smooth games, against Cerberus and the Geth, joined by a melee-happy Jugg. It's tremendously satisfying falcon punching the mooks that Juggs (often) waste their time on. In their defence, it is possibly even more satisfying falcon punching the Banshees they have tied up with no fear whatsoever  :D

Paranoid.

Banshees were silent, so I had to turn around every few seconds so I wouldn't get ninja grabbed :/

Was that on XBox or PS3?

(I'd be *very* interested in getting some PS3 matches in with you. Or Xbox, too, but my XBox manifest was only just birthed tonight, so... it's practically non-existent/carry-me still).

As someone who has (so far) flirted with the xbox version because of all the obvious technical benefits over the PS3, I have to ask if what you mentioned about headshots is in reference to differences in console controllers that I've yet to work out?  Pearl was good enough to point out that the triggers can be switched, so I did that, but I generally feel much less in control of movement and aiming, and I stick unintentionally to cover almost every time I try to run. And I really can't manage the d-pad at all.  It seems I just suck with the xbox controller  :(

It'll depend on who you are, but yes, I was definitely referring to the differences between the controllers.

The PS3 controller is more sensitive, and for me, it is much more accurate because of the sensitivity. (The D-Pad is also superiour, but that's unrelated to headshots.)

It was Legion of Rannoch who first pointed it out to me. He switched over to PS3, and then barely went back. It took about a month (and flipping the bumpers, as others have mentioned) before I noticed that my accuracy on PS3 was, by leaps and bounds, better than my accuracy on Xbox.

In fact, I perform about the same on both manifests. My Xbox manifest is Ultra Rares levels V-X, whereas my PS3 manifest is Gold Rares Level V-X. Even with a such a big difference in power levels and available equipment (Level IV as opposed to level III) the increased accuracy that I experience with a PS3 controller makes up the difference.

In 2 years, I've had a 20 headshot medal on Xbox about 5 times. In the 1 year that I've been playing on PS3, I've had the 20 headshot medal a few dozen times.

I'm quite used to the Xbox controller, and I've been using both controllers for over a decade, going back to the original PS and Xbox, so I'm fine switching. For others coming from PS3, though, I'd highly recommend getting a PS3-style controller for the 360 (they're around) and flipping the bumpers using the SP Options (main menu) or the Game Settings menu (accessed from the MP lobby.)

Rushed.

Not because of my teammates, not because of anything, I just really wanted to go get some cake. Got my cake and my credits, I am satisfied.

Hazard reactor vs geth. They camped the balcony overlooking the reactor - the one by the LZ. They didn't move unless objective waves. They were quite efficient all things considered, and here comes a potato - much more enjoyable games than 4 blood thirsty elites.
Whenever I'd wonder off with my Volus sentinel, one of them came looking for me just to make sure I'm ok, that's so sweet and it makes me feel a part of the tedium.

Wow, that...that actually explains a lot. <_>

Definitely try the Turian Soldier, if you have Proxy mine on him.  It's amazing.  And because it's fairly light, you can usually fire PM, and then use Marksman's RoF bonuses to lock up an entire spawn in glowing blue balls of love.

Turian Sentinel can also be fun.  Chain overload/neural shock and disruptor or incendiary ammo has a really nice synergy with this gun.  Just bring something a bit more...heavy hitting for bosses.  It is a bit lacking there.

Boring.

I was playing my Vorcha Enginner, who is set up for incindiary ammo FEs.  Unfortunately, everything I would prime would immediately get killed either by the Sabateur's Graal, or the Asari's grendades.  I might as well have not even been there...

Priorities

Everyone had good loadouts.  The match was preset to Rio/Reapers/Gold.  Sounds like an easy match.  Should have been an easy match.  If only the other players would have realized that killing ravagers NEEDS to be a priority on that map.  I think I had to kill almost every single one of them all game long.  Meanwhile everyone is constantly going down whenever a ravager so much as looks in their direction.

Mines.

Poorly placed ones.  Two games in a row with Talons that didn't know how to use their Cain mines properly.  They both just dropped them on the ground and hoped something would step on them.

Fun.

It was half a PUG, to be honest, since I was in there with LuckyStarr. But yes, it was damn fun.

Wave11Missiles

Reapers/Gold/Reactor  Two of them had mics, and where commenting about how stingy the other two of us where with our missiles because we weren't randomly nuking things on wave 11.  A very good game though, including a Jugg that was very capable offensively.

Revenge.

Geth for the third time in a row in u/u games. Got lucky enough I had dusted off my SI/M-98 widow before the match. It was a massacre, dead toastaz everywhere :) Stun-lockin muthaf***as had it coming to them.

10WavesSurvived. My first ever.

I'm ecstatic right now. Ran into millahnna and another of my friends in a lobby. I was going to leave because there was a Paladin in the lobby, but decided to stick around. The first game was painful due to the snap freeze spam, but I decided to stick around for another in spite of the same player equipping a Venom. It turned out to be a great decision. I was tense as hell after the wave 10 objective was over, but we made it.

I tried to hug the paladin and detonate his freezes away from you.  :D  Detonator's curse; my score was shockingly low in that first game, despite the 50+ assists.   Made me feel all bad even though I know I was useful with my throw spam.

That's not important. You weren't going to get a chance to do anything biotic-wise. That's why I switched to something else. It might have been ok if he did something other than spam snap freeze. It's so obnoxious.

Hax

Hundreds of brutes, husks, a-bombs...
Landed in a lobby set to dagger Cerberus so I bring my QFI BW. Yeah, I brought a sniper to a horde mode. Lone survivor, go figure.
Rest were all fails even though I brought flamer.
Got 20 HS medal with half the ammo in BW though :)

Peculiar.

To say the least.  I thought I was in a lobby with SackedJedi, sporting the same Grunt banner as myself, but then I noticed his CP score was lower than mine, and then I noticed his name was actually SackJedi.  Skilled player though, and I played a few games with him and a nicely played Volus Adept, who knew how to use Shield Boost effectively, making the interminable double pizzas on Rio go ok.  Last match on Hydra spoiled by a low ranking map glitcher, who I spent most of the match shooting at.  Strangely satisfying, and even worth the Phantom grab.  I think he scored 1700 points, got downed twice on the way to extraction and I almost got the chance to teabag him.  Had to settle for a one-word hatemail instead.  :D

That was me actually. ;) I was just using my main account. That volus is a friend of mine. I didn't notice the glitcher until very late in the match. Otherwise, I would have quitted earlier. I tried to sabotage the last pizza delivery by bringing it to him, but my friend didn't know my intention and delivered it. GGs nonetheless.

Haha glad I said you were 'a skilled player' in that case!  I worked out what you were at with the pizza, but I somehow doubt if the glitcher would have understood anyway.  I came sooo close to quitting that game, but as I said just shooting at him became quite fun, and it was obvious you two didn't need me.  My score would have sucked anyway as I was finishing off the Reckoning challenge again using a BPP3 - it's not a gun I enjoy using much, even on the TSol.

Pathetic.

3 high N7/high CP players, not a single gel used amongst them and not a single revive. If one went down, they just bled out. Wiped on wave 6

Good. Well, as good as Condor/Collectors/Gold can get.

Got a little bit fusterclucky with wave 10 devices but was good overall. 20 minutes, 5WS, everyone had roughly the same score and just went better than expected. Also it was refreshing not to rage over the BS seeker swarms, don't think I got swarmed once in that pug. GG.
