Cringeworthy. 

 

Collectors/Gold/London....we had devices for Wave 6, and two of our team decided to commit suicide rather than use any gels.  Not to mention the whole chain-revive going on for the first device.  I got three devices done, but then the other guy bled out doing the 4th.  I can't say seeing people just give up and not bother really inspires me to go ahead and waste all my consumables.  Though a wave 6 wipe is pretty bad, I can't remember the last time I had one of those.

Decided to try and PUG a game, got into a preset White/Cerberus/Gold game (in lobby), host backed out and switched to someone else who kept the settings. Didn't care too much since I was rocking my GI/Javelin until the game started and enemies were teleporting everywhere. The other promising looking player (Awakened Collector with Hurricane and Eagle X) went down twice on wave 1 and ragequit, I decided to stick it out anyways. I didn't go down a single time despite missing a TON of shots.

 

Wave 11 with like 15 seconds left I revive someone who is down in extraction, then another goes down. I try to revive and the host lags out! On the migration my Xbox decided to freeze on me, so I won't be playing a PUG again anytime soon... (also, nothing like scoring 130k in a preset with 4 missiles left. 1 used to revive someone in a crowd and another to switch a wave 10 target and getting nothing out of the game)

Seriously. The lag, Vancouver, Reapers, lack of ammo, squadmates dying all the time, uuuuuugh. My performance was subpar, to say the least.

It was only silver (Cerberus/Dagger), with 3 genuine newbies. I was practising my newly discovered Paladin, and thought I could easily carry them. Turns out I could not. In the lobby they see someone with 15k challenge points, and they have understandable confidence that things will be ok. And their confidence was misplaced. Wiped on wave 10, I couldn't get to the package in time. Sure, they died within 30 seconds of the start of every wave, but I knew that would happen. My fault, not theirs. They deserved better, and I let them down

Yes. Two words. Because I started the wave 3 escort by myself and waited for the other people to join me. They didn't, so I left the escort and just watched them kill stuff and revived them when they died. Finally when they did get in the escort and it was nearly in, I dc'd. :')

Hilarious. My roommate's 11 year old is playing on my xbox profile in bronze right now. I set him up with a fairly sturdy hsol saber build and while he has no idea how to run or go into cover and can't remember his grenades are even there, it turns out he's pretty good at headshots.

Spirits, all Silver pugs are so tiring today. I don't like Krolords on Glacier. Nope. They're in the way all the damn time. Plus, I am playing a melee build too. It's irritating.

Guilt

 

I have barely anything on my PC version of ME3 but was lucky enough to pick up both the Hurricane and the GI in a couple of PSPs and I have been using them to grind through Silver matches until I can start grinding Gold without being a deadweight. As such, I am abusing the hell outta tac-prox-fire to mow down everything. But I was just out-killing a Krolord at his own game in CQC without even trying to take his kills... 

 

THE GUIIILT. I even let him kill some people I could have killed easily though in the end Krolord didn't do too hot.

A teammate fell in the midst of a buttload of Geth and I went to save them, only to have the others in the box of shame fall and I was running around the crates of Rio. When I fell, I got angry, so I got up, pulled out my Rocket Launcher and I was like "Eff this", downing several Geth with one shot, "Eff you", downing another group further again, "Eff this one in particular", downing a Geth Prime because it was looking at me funny. Uuugh.

One brute - slammed a teammate down below on dagger - few bars left so I charged in to try and save mid slam. Unsuccessful to save, brute completes one slam - down to one bar of armour now. Melee's me to stagger and immediately follows up with a second slam!

 

Never seen that happen before.

I partied up with Mako and after doing some lobby tag to actually get in the game the rounds were nice. Found a few really good players that cut down rounds by a quarter. Wasn't too much to shake the head at aside from me trying to use a Mantis and dying all over the place in one match

Lies. There was something else. ME trying to use a Mantis. Now that was embarrassing. However, things changed a bit after you left and the match was...

 

Surprising. I was landing headshots all over the place for some reason. Dragoons? Phantoms? Anything. It was pretty incredible.

Amusing.

 

U/U/G ended up being Hazard Ghost/Geth. Problem was, it was that match where all the enemies are invisible. Couldn't take hard cover, couldn't see anything except Prime pets. So my Asari Vanguard spent the match following around the host Salarian Infiltrator, and dropping stasis and/or throwing grenades wherever he energy drained. Ended up extracting with 61K points, 25 assists and 25 biotic kills semi-blind throwing grenades.

So, recently I searched for a Gold game and found myself on Firebase Reactor-Hazard/Collectors (Wave 4 I think?). Everything was going along quite smoothly, despite there being an obvious new player with us, but everyone stuck together so I didn't think much of it.

 

That was until Wave 10, we had a hack inside the reactor chamber and a Praetorian quickly closing in. Thankfully I had my trusty Hurricane TSol and decided to briefly leave the hack and take up aim in front of the reactor door so I could quickly dispatch the crab uninterrupted. It landed right outside the opposite door when it started shooting it's butt-lazors at the team.

 

Suddenly the new player dashed out to where I was, "Good thinking," I thought "we'll take this thing out together!" But I heard not a shot from him, he just stood there.. in front of the door... in front of that d*mned button. As quickly as he had come out, he had left back into the reactor.

 

That's when I heard it... the beep... the warning..... "Alert, core venting imminent. Vacate area immediately"

 

The others heard it too, but with the Praetorian and Scions bombarding them.. they couldn't make it out... I just watched... as the doors closed on them...

 

We still got a full extraction in the end, but the host sent me a strongly worded message thinking I trapped them inside the reactor. It's pretty funny now that I think about it though, anyone else ever get blamed for something they didn't do?

Landed in a pug U/U/G that went amazingly smoothly.  One guy left afterwards, to be replaced by an AIU with 20k Challenge Points.  Fair enough, this should be fine.  Then someone gave him a vote kick.

 

Curious, I scooted over to the loadout screen to check his stuff.  I gave him a second vote.

 

He plugged in his mic.  He was MAD!  "And WHY are you VOTING TO KICK ME?!?!?!"

 

I was about to reply "Because Revenant AIU is dumb and so are you" but the host left before I could open my mouth.

 

Then I landed in a Wave 9 Hazard Ghost and got 2nd place at extraction.

Consisted of a vorcha soldier and engi and an offensive jugg. I was the palsent.
The 2 vorcha dirtnapped more than I can begin to tell you. I stopped wasting gels on wave 7 after trying to revive the them.

People who are such babies about what OTHER people are doing should not play in public lobbies.

Playing in a lobby with two Slayers and a Shadow spamming their Slashes while I am carrying a Kishock isn't fun. I am already really bad at sniping. I don't need to add to the difficulty.

I was playing my BatSent and I dropped into a match with a Kroguard, a Destroyer, and a Salarian.  The Salarian quit halfway through the match and I had to clutch wave 10.  Ended up trolling the noobs.
