Decided to run one Gold PUG after a buddy signed off before calling it quits myself (sorry for not joining you afterwards, dida ). Took my Krogan Sentinel and Claymore out for some good times and fell into Geth/Hazard White.

 

Been a while since I blood raged in total blindness on that map. L-O-freaking-L that's horrific. The host had a tragically bad connection, too, so that just really added to the fun.

 

Seriously. Some people should just not be allowed to host. Sorta like "you must be this tall to ride this ride". You must have this ping to host a match.

I was having a horrible time and getting wasted even in silver matches, mostly because I was playing classes I'm horrible at. Then I switched to a drell infiltrator on gold and I didn't go down a single time. My score wasn't that great, but at least my dodging was fantabulous.

 

Then I unlocked the Shadow. Good day.

Now I remember why I don't use the Black Widow.  My Widow X and Javelin VIII with Phasic rounds can drop mooks on gold with a single bodyshot and shielded mooks with a single headshot, all without cloaking (except bombers, they need two shots).  My Black Widow II can't do that.  I need a cloak to bodyshot mooks, and even with a cloak, headshotting shielded guys is 50/50, and hunters/bombers/pyros/dragoons sometimes need three, even if one is with a cloak.

Was a Cerberus bronze match on hydra which took less than 14 minutes. I think what happened is that everyone just spread out on the map and was competent enough to deal with their nearby spawn.

He was a Siege Pulse spamming Jugg on Hazard Dagger/Cerberus. Seeing as my Krolord is a little vulnerable to Phantoms, it only made sense for him to stop engaging a Phantom in order to "assist" me in killing a nearly dead Combat Engineer.... only to have that Phantom stab me in the back. Idiot.

I wish I could take a hint like that. My Xbox froze on me like 10 times (maybe more) the other night when I was in that party with Razerath, Limbs, and Jugger Nuggs trying to get on ME3. My persistence did not pay off at all, but at least a "new" one is being shipped tomorrow or Tuesday.

And I'm foruming after just waking up.  I actually thought you were referring to something else entirely.  I got our conversation mixed up with one with DrunkinRonin in this thread (a funny sudoko, seppuku thing a page or so back).  I'll just go herp a derp over here then.

My melee Krentinel got a lot of it.  Rio/Reapers/Gold.  I scored really low (76K), but I still think I did quite well.  The Typhoon Destroyer destroyed things very effectively (he got 192K) which was nice, but he was off in his own little world on non-objective waves.  I probably would have got far more points than I did if I had done the same, but I was busy keeping the other two alive.   The Shadow just spent most of the match flopping around on the floor.  

 

I spent most of the game bodyguarding a Juggernaut and reviving the Shadow.  I'd be constantly running to one end of the map to kill the Ravagers that everyone else was ignoring before they killed the Juggernaut, then I'd go revive the Shadow, then back to the middle to help the Jugg with the mob of Brutes and Banshees that piled on him, then revive the Shadow, then back for more ravagers, revive the Shadow,  then back to Brutes/Banshees, revive the Shadow, and so on.  Not really ideal for melee build - especially on Rio, but it we made a full extraction and I only needed one missile and 2 ops, so hey.  Though the Destroyer got the the LZ with less than half a second to spare.

Decided to try the Hurricane VIII on a silver match against Geth at Vancouver using the AIU.

 

Sneaking up on Pyros and firing a burst into their backs to rupture the fuel tank is lol worthy. Not quite as fun as using a QFI w/sabotage set to explode, but definitely fun.

I seriously hate pugging Gold.

what I don't understand is why 2 Juggernauts and an AIU can't stay alive.
