Awkward.

 

Pug sends me friend request the second I drop into GIP.  While pug top scores the match with his Juggy, he heads straight to extraction on Geth London Gold and does several other silly things.  Deleted.

Haven't played lolrigin in a while and the host was probably from Russioslavia, was havin' a time. A GODDAMN TIME.

Was Geth/London/Silver, with a team that wasn't really looking for synergy (IIRC -- a Batsent, a Jug, my Fury, and a HFA mostly spamming Shockwave).  Nothing too remarkable other than the Juggernaut was actually pretty decent and was /not/ only trying to melee all the things.

 

Much smoother than the Geth/White/Silver game I popped in w/ a Piranha-wielding Kroguard shortly after start... two level 20s and a 14, but they were going down quite a lot, mostly not gelling, and they all bled out leaving me to do the fourth device on Wave 10 under the watchful eye of multiple pyros, bombers, and a Prime (and very close-by spawn points).  That was... ugly, and expensive in so far as I decided to clear the area with Cobras rather than quit or fail the mission.   They held fairly well on W11 despite running to the EP early, though.

Failed another Gold game with pugs.

I seriously hate pugging Gold.

what I don't understand is why 2 Juggernauts and an AIU can't stay alive.

 

Are you falling into the classic trap of "I died, we wiped" because your teammates are so bad? I almost never PUG gold unless I have a buddy with me; that person to cover you during a 1-2-3-4 hack, kills things and more importantly can complete the wave if you get sync killed.

 

Maybe they can't stay alive because they aren't working as a team? Wandering off on their own to get killed? I dunno, I prefer not to rely on unreliable teammates because they are unreliable.

RogueState and I were playing yesterday, had some good matches with a couple of people we had never seen before (not sure if they were BSN'ers, but they were very good) and then we took a break, rather tragically when we came back we totally died - a lot -  the guy we played with pretty much solo'd it (4th person glitched in wave 1 and left)  *the shame* I messaged him and he was very magnanimous about it all, lol

What was his name? This happened to me yesterday, random drops into my friend's lobby and immediately sends me a FR (on Xbox)  o.O We figured it was because I'm female as my friend didn't get a request as well....

If you'd asked me that an hour ago I could have remembered.  But he's not showing up in my last met list anymore. 

 

He was the weirdest combo of good/bad playing.  On the upside, didn't run a melee only Juggy (obviously since he top scored) and he was good at not deploying the hex shield awkwardly for teammates (big shield but used it well).  But he consistently revived under really silly circumstances, meleed for shields while swarmed with bosses (admittedly that one is subjective but it struck me as... unwise), backed away from enemies when they were solo (not towards any sort of advantageous position since he pretty much just stayed camped in the wide open death field on London), and while he was shield pulse spamming, he didn't seem to have any ammo on to take advantage of (I thought I so the warp ammo icon but could be mistaken).  And of course, LZ at extraction. 

 

The whole game was way harder than it should a non-melee Juggy.  Maybe he was just newish to the kit.  I don't know the whole experience was strange.  After one revive party opposite the sniper's bridge, I ended up blowing like 4 rage missiles at the stupidest stuff so I probably left a "dafuq" impression on him as well.

Joined GIP on wave 3 Reactor/Collectors/Gold. Smooth going until the host DC´d after wave 6 escort and we had to do it again. Three of us made it back to the new host, but strangely the objective went not smooth at all this time and we had to use a bunch of rockets and gels. Mopped up the remainder of the match efficiently and proceeded to the next one, which was a very smooth 20-minute run on White vs. Cerberus. The vast majority of PUG teams I´ve played in was decent, this group was really excellent.

Wasn't SxbotRmagedon? Still there on my list The guy we were playing scored high too, you see... seems quite a coincidence... 

I play my jugg a lot and tend to try not to melee unless I need shields OR to take heat if teammates are a lot of squishies that praetorians want to hug... it's pretty suicidal at times... but a squishy getting squished across the map is the worst nightmare for every jugg.... I am siege pulse spammy at times but it is a skill that juggs have so I use it... I use turrets a lot too... I try not to die too much

Half dozen U/U/G with fire and cryo explosions everywhere.  Was the best pug I've had in a while.  I think the AIU and GI were together.

Not recent, but a Collectors / Jade / Silver / Wave 3 Devices PUG match still haunts me.  No infiltrators, no Juggs, nowhere to run to baby!  Every consumable used in vain, I was last man standing but ran out of time.  Horrendous.

Out of curiosity I dusted off my copy of ME3 last night and ventured into Pugland for the first time in many many months. Result, life hasn't changed since I last went there. I wiped out alot, it was glorious suckage.

plus the Juggernauts were just the worst. One went off on his own during an escort to die, then when he died the other one rushed to his aid and died. Idk what happened to the AIU, but I was left alone with a fitnessless Asari Valkyrie w/o Tech Armor to fight Geth all by myself.

at least I have an excuse for that game. In my other game I ran out of medigel by wave 6. I was probably the first one to have all my medigel gone. We made it to wave 8 where I bled out and forced this poor drell infiltrator to solo Collectors on Ghost Hazard.
