Dropped into a U/U/G lobby, took one look at the three of them, and hit the Exit button.  I waited 5 minutes and searched again.

 

I then landed in Wave 1 Reactor/Cerberus/Gold, same group, two were dead and the third bleeding out.  I left and got to keep my equipment.

A pug got grabbed by a Banshee, and I started to pull out my rocket launcher, but I could tell it wasn't going to fire in time to save him.  Suddenly, a Brute whacked me in the back of the head, allowing me to fire a rocket and save the pug, because the stagger animation was shorter than the pulling out the rocket launcher animation.

I joined a GIP with a MGer on w2 with my AJA. W3 was devices, I tried to pretend I was doing it and just let the timer run out, but that didn't work out. W6 was pizza and I got to the pizza first and left at 0:00. Ghost Geth Plat was too easy. The MGer was ranting a lot. XD

The PUG was actually pretty good, ended up 3-manning Gold/Reapers/Dagger when nobody else joined, and it went really smoothly.  I think I used one medigel the entire time.  My Shadow + a pretty good Piranha Cabal and a decent non-melee Juggernaut (who could have been really good had he not been carrying the freaking GPSMG).  But afterwards, I spent my credits and got... 4 UR in 5 packs!  No, I don't have a maxed manifest yet.

Pretty dreadful considering it was my first game after about a week's absence. Rio, geth, lots of lag. We did a pretty good job of surviving in the early waves but of course that all changed when the primes came out in full force. The objectives were easy, at least, but wait! The host bailed on us at 12 seconds to extraction as the cherry on top of the **** sundae

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!

 

Three games, no lag, top of the scoreboard...just epic in general.

First game was Asari Infiltrator vs Reapers, Gold, London. Good lord, her Cloak+DC annihilates everything on reapers. You can do anything; hit a ravager and focus on the grunt nearby; hit the banshee chasing you and take it down in seconds, or just about anything else. All my characters only earn names after I get good at them, and the Infiltrator got herself a name after only two games

Second game was just for relaxing with the Shadow on Silver Collectors White. Game went really amazing well, just taking out everything with my pure melee build. Only amusing moment was when I was taking down two abominations at once, and just as I went in to finish them they both got possessed. That wouldn't have been a problem except I took them both down to 1 bar of health with my attack and the vanguard nearby decided that was the perfect time to charge them xD

Suffice to say, we had temporary existence problems.

Third game was back to the Asari Infiltrator on gold. Only three of us, but even so midway through the game I actually had to check the escape menu to make sure it was gold. I ended up getting sync killed on wave 8, but my team was able to clutch for me and in the end I rocked the top of the scoreboard again. Funny bit was for a wave or two I realized how fantastically I was playing and it made me nervous and start to screw up again

And got an UR out of it too! Venom 2. It amuses me how i have several level 2 UR's and haven't even unlocked a single decent UR assault rifle or pistol. Give me my Particle Rifle, darn it!

My TSent grabbed the Lancer and went off to U/U/G Pugland.  Landed in Giant/Geth/Gold Wave 1 in progress, there were only 2 others, a KroSol and a Volus with Recon Mine.  A 4th joined shortly after but he was little more than a decoy, scoring around 18k by the end of the game.  I doubled the KroSol's score, he doubled the Volus, but the 3 of us were all very good at our classes.  Smart grenades and shield boosting, no unnecessary risks aside from each of us learning the hard way not to try to save the pug.

 

When we got back to the lobby, I noticed that both the KroSol and the Volus got to keep their equipment.  Host probably deserted them on Wave 1, and I arrived just in time to save them!  I felt special.

 

I would have done another game with them but I guess the Volus, who was now the host, was still feeling a bit jaded because he left.

U/U/S, landed in a Wave 3 on Ghost Hazard/Reapers... and my teammates were three Geth Juggernauts, of the kind fully aware that they can fire their weapons and siege pulses.

 

They amused themselves by simultaneously meleeing the final Banshee of a wave, so I joined in with my DAI kicking her.

Ghost/Reapers/Gold.  The PUGs died.  A lot.  All three of the others went down almost immediately on wave 8 and didn't get back up, leaving me to solo almost the entire wave.  That's probably the best map to solo with my flamerless Javelin Geth Trooper.  You can make nice big circles around the outside of the map, and the only part where you are exposed is the run past the LZ.  And lots of conveniently placed walls to shoot through.  I just wish I could actually hit husks with a sniper rifle...

Vancouver, Reapers.  Wave 10, IIRC... got synced by a Banshee during post-target mop-up.  Two other players had already bled out, so it looked like it was up to the fourth (a Jug) to carry... but nope.  I magically respawn at the starting point with full health and can join the Juggernaut and take my ~posthumous revenge on the Banshee.  Sadly, I wasn't using the Revenant at the time.

Sure it's a word.  After a lengthy series of bad pugs of the "I think this person isn't quite ready for gold yet" variety, I dropped into a reapers game on glacier where the host was a wall banging slashtard variety of slayer who camped the back hallway at the top of the ramp you go rolfstomping into the basement from.  His partner in crime was a melee only juggy with the big shield who would block off the back hallway completely for the slashtard to slash away from behind.  Neither one fired their weapon once, though they were good with revives and did objectives. 

 

Wave 10 objective was the hack circle just to the left of where you spawn into the map.  they backed all the way into the corner that's just over the stairs, slapped down that big shield and proceeded as before (which looked hilarious with the two of them crammed into that nook).  This is how I found out brutes can reach you through that particular wall from the stairs on the LZ.  I was watching the LZ approach and one I'd thought I'd killed stealthed his way around the crates to the left and proceeded to wail on the two of them through the wall, dropping both while I did my demolisher thing. 

 

I dropped in on wave 2 and had 75 kills by wave six.  End game time showed 35 minutes (so that plus however long waves one and two took them).  At least I was playing my demogirl; on that map with her, I have no problems running around like a maniac on gold.  I kited a few banshees on wave 8 or 9 while I went ravager hunting and everything else swarmed to their camping spot.  Once the budget had died down I brought the banshees to them, too.  Teamwork?

 

Camping that hallway takes one of the easiest, fastest maps in the game and turns it into one of the hardest and most tedious.  I don't get it.

 

I just did a pug where exactly the same thing happened, except they camped in the little alcove spawn point in the lab by the LZ. From wave 1 the Jugg and a krogan just hid behind the jugg's shield. Didn't do objectives and didn't revive even when it was a few feet away from them. For 11 waves. Luckily the 4th player was very good - Arietta, who I think is probably a BSN player. The happy campers managed to score about 20k between them.

Dropped into a lobby where the host was running a Drellguard. We decided to start the game as a duo and let pugs join in mid game. Well, the short version would be: host charged like a moron into mobs of freshly spawned collectors, ran out of medi gel by wave 4 and out of all consumables by wave 7, started raging on the mic about lag, started raging on the mic about our Puggernaut being incompetent because he didn't HM everything (lol). He then proceeded to get sync killed at the start of wave 8, say that he was carrying us the whole game and finished with a few swear words in a Slavic sounding language. Then he rage quit.

 

Funny thing is, he actually was doing well score-wise (2nd place after me by 20k or so) but it was mostly because he was nuking spawns. Actually, scratch that, I should have said "attempting to nuke spawns" because he was mostly taking out single boss units or in one case two seeker swarms and a possessed trooper.

As has been noted previously, it's the 666 that makes him really hardcore!

 

GUARDIANS!!!

 

Cerberus/Giant/Silver GiP on my N7 28 alt a/c a couple of nights ago.  The team is not great, but we make it to wave 10 and get Targets.  Somehow all of a sudden I'm last man standing, and take down the last two and am finishing off the wave when someone else arrives, so I make a beeline for the LZ, just as the host quits.  We re-start the wave as a duo, but having already banked the credits there is no objective to complete or timer on the wave.  Someone else arrives and gets downed, I revive him/her but stupidly get stomped.  

 

I then watched what appeared to be an infinite wave of Guardians - they just kept coming!  Both the other players had piercing of some kind and it was hilarious to watch.  Eventually they realised something had glitched so they got bored, died and bled out.  I was insanely jealous of how many Guardian challenge points they were able to accrue, and I hope it was some consolation for neither of them getting any credits from the match.

Well, I promoted all my classes, in a fit of boredom about two hours ago.  Since then I've been running around on lolsilver with a Cryo Ammo using Human Infiltrator, working my way through every awful shotgun I normally refuse to even consider using.  I think the Katana is up next.

 

Pugs seem to be actually playing better on Silver than Gold tonight, though I'm not sure if that's actually the case or it's because Silver is far more forgiving on players.  Either way, time to go apply more shotgun to face, the solution to every problem in the world.

I had to clutch 5 waves.  It was like it never occurred to any of them to get out of the Possessed Scion's grenades, or get out of the way/take cover from the Praetorian's lasers.  By early wave three I had pretty much given up on trying to save the other players and just went into solo mode.  All three of them also completely ignored the wave 10 escort, which, unfortunately, was the one going from the back bottom corner to that little square area to the left of the LZ via crossing the entire bottom area of the map.  They died long before the drone got to the ramp, so I spent a lot of time trying to kite enemies away.  Unfortunately, Scions are very slow, and can see pretty much the entire map from anywhere they are standing...

 

I wasn't very impressed by their loadouts when I joined the lobby (not bad loadout choices, but just low level weapons/gears), but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.  Bad idea.  What especially impressed me was how the low level soldier only managed a bronze assist medal and 22K points.  He probably spent more time on his feet than the other two put together, and he was trying, he just sucked.

I  just promoted my Vanguards, and I still need to finish Outsider challenge, so I was re-leveling them with my Drell on silver.  I suck with Drell at the best of times, and then the host ninja-switches to gold.  Level 6 Drellguard, with crappy consumables on Geth/Vancouver did not go well for me.  Fortunately the others where all decent, and managed to carry me through.

Got Reactor/Collectors/gold.  I was on with a friend of mine and we were both playing as our GEs (I was wielding my GPR X and he was using his Scimitar X).  There were two very experienced guys with us, one playing as a TGI w/ a Harrier VII or something like that, and the other playing a Cabal w/ a PPR X.  We were doing very well (well, not my friend as he isn't very experienced yet) and managed to get to wave 10 which ended up being an escort.  I was host and I lagged out and had to restart the system.  When I finally got my system back on, I found out that the same thing happened to my friend, so I decided to turn off my system for the night.

 

Hate it when I lag out...  I was just about to kill a Praetorian too.
