Played a really great U/U/P with a group of pugs so I decided to stick around for another. One guy dropped out and we picked up a 300-ish QMI. I told him to put some gear on, I don't think he understood me as he switched out from his Falcon to an Avenger VII! Oh well, I like a challenge so we went in, got Collectors on Jade which was all sorts of horrible. I clutched wave 4 but after everyone else bled out on 5, I knew that the game had run it's course.

 

The Avenger wielding QMI came out with a princely score of 4500!! Worst thing was, I decided I had one more game in me so I hunted for another lobby, he was in the next one, still trying his hand at Platinum. I like playing with all comers but dude, srsly? I just left and decided to call it a day.

Disappointing. After seeing a middle glitcher AUI using the Adas...Razerath and I decided to not run the pizza and end the game on wave 10 plat. Screw glitchers. HERALD 0F D00M was his GT. (All zero's)

Next one, we got a level 1, his first game ever. Dropped into our UUP, we got him through...but he didn't take cover at the end!

Hazard Dagger, damn ammo crates would not give my Geth Engineer any ammo between rounds, and hardly any during them. See how long 150 rounds last in a GPR....

 

So I spawned my turret in front of me and overloaded all the enemies for it to kill. The plan worked occasionally.

One button to rule them all! .... And this time, in various versions. First, my Paladin goes into cover instead of reviving a teammate (several times... but that's an old one), then he hugs a wall instead of sprinting and stumbles into a Phantom's embrace right afterwards. (OK, that's also an old one, my bad.) You would think that one has learned to accept the rule of the one button by now.

What was new though was that sometimes my Turian Ghost would cloak and sometimes use Overload when pressing the same button. It's space magic!

Otherwise, a couple of good U/U/G.

Started back up on MP again after some time away from ME3.  Some matches are really good, others not so good.  I've noticed a lot of new(er) people (real low N7 ratings) wanting to do gold and silver with low weaps and no consumables.  I don't care so much but I cut my teeth in Bronze/Silver and farmed credits the good old fashioned way to buy packs and get my weapons up before I decided to Gold.

 

Frustrating on objectives when you have someone just not doing them.  My biggest beef.  Then they don't get in for the final extraction.   

 

Most people are not mic'd up though.  I haven't done any pug U/U/P matches  just for that reason.  I'll do those with people I know.  Gold is hard enough especially with new people who don't seem to realize that it is "Gold" for a reason.

Hey, I played a few solid games with you a couple of days ago with a TSent/Phaeston, and my xbox a/c definitely falls into the noob category - I thought our games definitely fell into the 'good' category.  I wasn't using many consumables on silver but I did put my valuable level 2 stuff on for the gold game.  iirc we'd played 3 or 4 really easy silver games before rolling Collectors/Giant/Gold, where I was grateful to your Jugg for carrying the later waves.  I got grabbed by a Praetorian just as I delivered the first pizza on wave 10, but we got a full extraction I think.  I never play Collectors above silver on PS3 so I wasn't at my best situationally, and it takes a while killing things with a Phaeston sometimes, but the game felt kinda epic for me as it was my first gold match on xbox, especially as it was against the PS3-Killers.

I brought out my Cryosoldier again, after having not used her for months.  Now I remember again why she has always been one of my favorites.  Cerberus/White/Gold and Cerberus/Ghost/Gold (ahh, the demo days).  Both games had fairly decent players, aside from a Juggernaut with a Reagar I on Ghost, which was nice.  Tech-heavy teams are a lot of fun with a CC spamming soldier.

Disappointing ... not because the team sucked, but 9 waves survived! Damnit Juggy, couldn't you have just stayed on your feet for one more round!

Great game but I so rarely see 10WS in PuGs, would have been worth a screeny

Frustrating...

 

I was playing a gold/cerb/giant with a good pug group..salarian infil, krogan sent and turian infil and me phoenix vanguard...long story short. Everything went exceptionally well. No game lags...folks were hardly dying...we had a good set. Then outta nowhere during extraction with 12 seconds left..the game freezes!!....now while i have heard of the ps3 not really liking collectors ( i still played alot of collectors matches tho without any freezing, only occassionally)...but freezing on cerb units?....aggh.

 

Anyway not that big a deal, but a bit frustrating for it to freeze like that with 12 seconds left and really there was nothing leading you to believe it was about to tank....framerate when heavy explosions occur, lag, or just a poor perfroming match or connection. The game played and performed well and this freeze just came outta the twighlight zone or some ish!!...

Revivefarming

 

The Challenge-System was teasing me with only 5 waves on Hydra left to get the 100 Waves done for Bronze, Silver and Gold. So I called the BatSol to duty, equipped the Talon with HB and poweramp, With Grenade Gear, AP IV, Cyclonics IV and Pistol Amp III nothing could go wrong...

 

I searched for the map, got a lobby with two noobs (<1000CP) with some mid-level weapons. Both had selected power-dependent kits, Shadow and Merc, so this looked good. After me a volus joined, we readyed up and got Reapers.

 

The Volus was afk or glitched out from start, and the other two went ramboing and got stomped in wave 1. And in wave 2. Wave 3 was devices, I did them and clutched the wave. Starting with wave 4 - I really hate soloing - I was basically running in circles around the map, reviving both pugs, grabbing grenades and spamming them and blades left and right, while shotting down Mooks and Banshee-Barriers with the Talon. Worked surprisingly well.

Wave 6 was hack at the LZ. Pugs were running all over the map, with me yelling over the mic at them to stay in the circle. Host kept dying on the other side of the map, and told me he only understands russian. Oh nice, my last lessons where 32 years back. At least the Shadow got it. I used 2 nukes and gels. Had to clutch two more waves. Pugs got grabbed by Banshees or got stomped before I got there. And headshotting Marauders across the map with the Talon is...problematic.

Wave 10 devices. Did 2 of 3 while reviving the "team" like 20 times. Last device was the center one

I tried till I only had one gel and nuke left. Kiting didn´t work because of the pugs. So I was yelling again, this time at the shadow, to cloak and get the f.... thing done. No luck. To my surprise, the Merc grasped the problem and did the device, while i was meatshielding him and nuked the approaching Banshee. 

And in the end we got even a partial extraction. Yeah...

 

Maybe I should consider to do the solo-challenge after all? It could not be worse.

But I hate soloing...

Joined a lobby - host quit and I ended up hosting with just one guy from before. 2 others soon joined and we went on to have 3 or 4 pretty good games together... U/U/G all the way, at least partial extraction each time and I only had a couple of rage rocket bouts! I hate Cerberus at the best of times, moreso when I'm hosting.

 

It was novel to have 3 randoms stick around for a few games.

Round 1: N7 120 host w/ Explosive Rounds and CAR V goes down within the first 10 seconds of Wave 1 U/U/G, immediately rage-quits.

 

Round 2:  Join a game in progress, three skulls, it's wave 1.  Nope, I'm not that masochistic.  Bye.

Breezy (almost!)

 

A couple of really fun Plat games to start the day off with myself as a Paladin and a really excellent other player (first as a GI, then a Trooper), setting off many, many marvellous tech explosions.

Wiped

 

Collectors in hazard Dagger with Asari Adept, Warlord and I was using Asari Valkyrie. Warlord getting sync-killed at least 6-7 times. Not bad lag overall but once my Valkyrie yelled I´m down while having half barrier on. I was running with her 10 sec after that and suddenly I was lying on ground and couldn´t even use gel. AA handled rest of wave nicely with Kishock. Wave 10 was hack and both of team mates were down quickly. Tried to kite, used few missiles but time run out before completing hack. Scions were really PITA in wave 10 and because of hazard map I didn´t see them but they were bombing and lazoring me all the time. I hate Collectors in that map.

Vanguards

 

Four vanguards. On my host. The only thing that surprised me more was that two of them were in the next game as well. Playing vanguards. (Vancouver/Collectors/Gold and Dagger/Reapers). The fourth player that joined for the second game also played a vanguard and restored my faith in my hosting capabilities when they dropped out early.

Hydra/Geth/Gold.  Easily my least favorite combination in the game.  Next time it comes up I should just rage gel 6 times before wave one starts just to get it out of the way.
