did a quick search for a silver match. as soon as i get in a lobby, there's a single kick vote on me. the other three players were low n7/ gear and i was about to leave but then decided to stay just to annoy the one person that was trying to kick me. after a couple minutes the other two caved in and kicked me. guess they didn't like my smashdept with the hornet. oh well, pugs will be pugs.

Jade/Reapers/Gold  KILL THE RAVAGERS!!!  Seriously people, kill them.  I think I killed almost every single ravager since I dropped in on wave 5.  The pugs were also obsessed with holding the room on the far right corner of the map from the LZ.  In fact, once I joined them there, they actually stopped leaving the room for ammo, and just used my pylon instead.

Lol, I always make Ravagers a priority as the seriously ****** me off. I regard them as Cobra-worthy.

Frantic.

 

U/U/G => Glacier (Hazard) + Reapers.  Did plenty of running from grenade box to grenade box w/ the Drell Adept.  Lots of grenades (moi), lots of fire (Vorcha Sentinel), devices / hack / hack was not pretty.  Two got synched fairly quickly in Wave 11 and the Vorcha got robbed by being dropped within the last couple of seconds, but I did extract.

 

 

Much more fun than the abortive game where the no-mods no-equipment Vindicator + Mantis host quit in disgrace on Wave 4 (it was basically a duo, as there was a fourth player drastically under-equipped and under-skilled as well -- those two basically stayed at the LZ while the two of us escorted the drone through Wave 3, and proceeded to ignore them repeatedly dying and reviving each other, and then finished the rest of the wave without them).

 

Had another U/U/G (Reactor/Geth) game which was badly bugged for me (e.g. I couldn't take cover, but was immediately forced out), and the spawns struck me as odd... it took me far too long for me to realize that what was going on was that the Geth Primes were invisible to me and not even being recognized at all by my client (e.g. not even in the killfeed).  Dealing with invisible Primes spawning turrets behind me was... interesting.  Extracted, though.

I'm also in Europe (West/Central) and mics are not necessarily that useful unless one is fluent in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Scandinavian, and a few others.

 

 

Had another U/U/G (Reactor/Geth) game which was badly bugged for me (e.g. I couldn't take cover, but was immediately forced out), 

 

The bounce-straight-out-of-cover bug is maddening, normally happens to me on Rio at extraction when there's a Prime bearing down with 10 seconds to go.

 

And for my last PUG session: Sync_Kill_Theme

 

Last night, in four (!) successive games, I was revived only to stand up straight into a sync kill before being able to move.

 

One phantom sword, a brute claw, and two banshee hugs, for those who are connoisseurs of other people's fatalities.

I saw an N7 5 yesterday. It was so cute.  Because I'm old, I usually play a couple of Bronze matches just to get the muscle memory going and warm up a little.

For the first time, my PS3 froze on a Bronze Collector match. Just going to have to stop playing them altogether.

One of them had a mic and we worked things out smoothly, even though some appeared to have less advanced equipment or less skill than us. We made it out of there alive and it was incredible, plus, I am sure that they remember me as the calm Batarian that killed Geth. I can live with that.

KABOOM.

 

(U/U/G => Glacier/Cerberus), with my Drell Adept  (packing a Raider this time, and lucking out that it wasn't Condor) joining an Asari Adept, a Krogan, and a Novaguard.   Lots of Reave + Cluster on my part.  Threw a gratuitous number of grenades at extraction because I was planning on buying a JEP anyway.

On this forum? Nope. I'm 43 this month, so yeah. But, then, I have all kinds of health problems, so that puts me ahead about 20 years. So, nope.

Had a 16min pug, no rockets, 5ws, glacier geth.
I thought it was terrible though, coz I did suck balls, but I had QME. lol
Pugs were meh though..

Discovery

 

Immediately before, I had a great game and an even better arsenal pack: double UR's with a CSMG 4 and finally unlocked the Javelin! To make it better, it also gave me the sniper superbarrel(finally) and 5 medigel. Probably the best pack I've ever gotten, lol.

 

Unfortunately, I didn't have the Geth Infiltrator yet, so I loaded up my MQI and decided to test the Javelin with Drill ammo and the AP mod. I was having quite a bit of fun, but was disappointed to discover that my Javelin 1 apparently couldn't oneshot silver cannibals without a headshot. Still, it was a really fun gun, being able to shoot through walls and stuff, so I shrugged off the mediocre Deeps.  

 

About wave 6, I remember that I had a tactical cloak.

Didn't do gloriously or anything throughout the whole match, but not too bad, but as I was running into the extraction cricle, with 1 second left I got pulled out of the circle by a freaking jerk Praetorian as it tried to sync kill me. The stupid jerk stole my credits!

I click search.  2 seconds later, "Mission scrubbed, returning to base."  I loaded directly into the score screen, never even got into the game.  Talk about wasted consumables...

Dropped into the middle of a hectic Wave 3 Targets on Reactor Haz vs Cerberus/Gold (greeted by goons phantoms at the LZ, naturally) with a couple of french guys (I don't speak french) with my melee/Venom BatSol, looking to take out my frustration on some phantoms (for trolling me on platinum)- and I have no sound. Ended up sticking around, and they (quite politely) switched to english a couple times to warn me about a phantom or whatever, ended with a full extraction (despite much dying all around, particularly by yours truly). Nice teamwork guys.

 

The best part- at one point I was running around and couldn't figure out what why I only had like 80% shields and why it wasn't regenerating, only to turn around and realize that an Engineer had been following me (like, DIRECTLY behind me- I had no sound) for probably like 30 seconds without my realizing it, shooting me with his cute little phalanx.  (pew pew pew) Naturally, I punched his face in.

Was going on Hydra/Gold this morning. All went well, but shortly before finishing wave 6 the host was disconected...one player and me left...starting wave 6 again...the other player left...only me alone in the game...starting wave 6 again. In the middle of this wave, 3 new player arrived and we made it to full extraction!
