Infiltrators - searched for Plat pug and ended up in a lobby with 3 infiltrators. Pretty good team except for the one pug who didnt help with objectives and used several nukes on wave 11 (almost putting the team in trouble)

Another Gold/Geth bout (it seems the best ones I have are against them...don't know why people hate them so much ) in Reactor. Thing is that it came the extraction wave, and the entire team (including me, and I was my usual Novaguard) decided to bunker down at the other side of the reactor, because unfortunately Geth decided to spawn just in front of the EZ. So there we were, standing the four of us together and anhiliating every bastard that came across the reactor (luckily they didn't even decided to flank us...they just kept coming straight towards us...the fools).

It was very nice...disciplined, I'd say At about 20 seconds remaining we killed them all, then rushed and extracted with no casualties. Good team

I was having a Krogan night. Not characters I usually play.
Don't know why. Quite enjoyed it.
Though the words "Oh, for f**k sake!" did issue from my mouth on a few occasions after running up to the enemy, heavy melee, and miss completely.
Oh well, like I said, enjoyed myself :-)

Was hosting (Ghost hazard/Cerberus/Gold). Everything was smooth and was about to start at wave 6 when I got disconnected from everything because of an Xbox live update :-/

Just after promoting Engineer. My N7 Demolisher with only two points. Bronze matches and me runing around picking up people who do not know how to take cover. Best moment was runing between Banshees legs to revive N7 Paladin... Who got synced a second later.

Silver

 

Haven't played the drell adept in ages so decided go with lvl 9 drell on bronze to remind myself how to play him. The two talkative guys in the lobby decided to bump it to Silver and away we went. After a couple of waves it all starts coming back to me and I'm busily reaving and bouncing grenades around corners. The other guys were ok and we all successfully extracted. Usually when someone bumps up the difficultly it all goes to hell.

To be honest, I always have to go at least one game with the Hammer-Wielding-Machine-Of-Death Krogan buddy of mine. The most fun character to play. Brofisting a Banshee or Brute was never so cool. Not to mention the broheading of anything smaller then you.

Even the frustration of chasing a Nemesis all round the map trying to bludgeon the bugger to death before finally giving up and shooting it was fun :-)

Weapons that reliably stagger are your friend, things like the Graal and Striker are both good ... and they're guns for Krogan, BY Krogan!

 

... or grenades ... grenades fix most twitchy pogo-stick hopping lunatic enemies.

I got kicked after a good Cerberus/London/Gold game. I was a QFI with a Mantis, so not really an OP kit. Still effective, I got 50 kills and 20 headshots. I came third, with not a bad score, considering I was blinded half of the time by a Vorcha flamer. The other pugs were a juggernaut/lolreegar and a TGI/lolHarrier.

They all tried to defend the LZ during the whole wave 11, so maybe they did not like me hiding at the other end of the map Or maybe the juggy didn't like me "stealing" his kills while he was heavy meleeing phantoms. Or maybe they thought I should play something like an AIU/Incendiary Reegar to have a fully lame team.

Who know with pugs...

It's possible. I remember a few melee krogans out there, and White/Geth is an all-time favourite of mine to relax

When I'm using the Jug, if I heavy melee an enemy, I'm usually hoping someone takes it out quickly so I can get back to shooting.

As in someone with one N7 point joined my U/U/G lobby. Using a vanilla male adept. I'm sure he tried to go for platinum/collectors, but got sent to gold instead. We got White against the Geth. I watched him missile the first enemy he saw, and gel immediately after going down the first time. That may have happened 10 seconds apart. After that I think he may have been out of consumables. We started duo, finished full extraction with four. Got my gold revive trophy by what felt like wave 6, but was probably more like wave 3. Guy timed it perfectly on extraction, went down with three seconds left, revived just in time to stand up and extract. Welcome to multiplayer, for your second game up it to platinum.

There I am happily enjoying a Vanilla Adept Gold solo. Forgot to set it to private so people join. No biggie.

Then a party joins and I lose almost all in-game sound. Hard to hear Banshees when they are silent.

Then my controller starts to act up when I am trying to run away from one.

I'm subsequently grabbed in every wave as my controller is dying. I quit early to give the others a chance to finish it. Frustrating as hell.

 

At least the idea of a themed challenge solo with no in-game sound is something I plan on doing now. Also I need to buy a wired controller. The 360 controller quality used to be decent, but it's awful now.

That what I felt like, in a weird way, when someone accused me of cheating today. This douche called me out - yes, I know...some people on PC seem to have a mic active during Pugs - for "cheating." He claimed I rigged the Executioner Pistol, because I fired twice (!) and I did not need to reload inbetween shots. All I can say to that, is that's exactly true. However, I used this particular build...one that many of you know about, yet this dude did not apparently:

Being defiant and knowing I didn't cheat, I started to get in my Bill Clinton mode, and went: "I did NOT hack and cheat with the Executioner Pistol, as God is my witness." What's even worse, is I got kicked after that...

Well, at least you don't whine about it, then dedicate yourself the next match to screw the enjoyment of your companions with Flamer, Venom and grenades....unlike others.

Hahaha, no I never do any of that stuff to my fellow players, even on the occasions where they annoy me.

 

The worst I do is just to leave the lobby in a hurry after a bad match, and even so I sometimes just stay if the host doesn't leave.

I'm a pug, and my own actions backfired. 10 seconds to extraction and a teammate got downed not too far from LZ, so another teammate (who played a really good Batarian Soldier) went to revive him. A lovely space crab saw dinner and was going for them, so I pulled out my cobra and missiled it. I didn't realize a possessed abomination had joined the party, so needless to say, it was a partial extraction. I messaged the Batarian and apologized about the a-bomb, and he laughed it off and said gg regardless.. good sport!

Host had a fair bit of experience judging from CP/N7, but was using a Viper X w/ an SMG rail amp and Assault Rifle gear.  Uh, yeah.   Readied up, too; not like game started while he was AFK.

 

It was also a bit laggy and buggy to the point that from early on the host wasn't showing up on the scoreboard or kill feed for me, no icon was shown when we went down, and whenever he was revived the log would leave his name blank.  He was visible, though, w/ his name over him, so it's not like my client completely ignored his existence.

 

Decent if not great match; two of the players went down just about every wave after the first couple, IIRC, and there was a bit of chain reviving going on.   Still completed and extracted, though, and I can't say that for every gold game I join esp. when I unmothball a class, join a game in progress, and can't change my selections to better match what the others are using.

It was my first Gold full PUG on ecks bawks. Cerbs on Giant Hazard. There was a GI that camped it out and a Juggy that was definitely the MVP. The only bad thing is that I had to answer the door during a hack. But there was a full extraction and I was holding my own weight, for most part.

 

EDIT: Also, I was playing with the BatMan, aka the BatSent and the Gold PUG went better than the reunion Silver PUG I had the other day. Also, it confirmed what I already knew: The BatMan is still damn awesome!

Uhmmm...if I was a Vanguard then 100% definitely it was rage-quit from lag. I don't know why I even try sometimes to play Vanguard off-host...I just can't stand it.

 

If I wasn't, then I was just testing classes, didn't liked them, then quit (I doubt it, as I never test classes in Gold...unlike others).

 

Apart from those two occassions, I always complete my matches, no matter my performace (sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad ).
