I played a couple of games last night and just quit because I could not find a lobby without a full second of lag. The last game was the worst. I decided to try out this Revenant Shaman people are talking about. I got Cerberus. I've never seen off-host issues like this before. I would throw a Warp, it would soar off into space and hit nothing, and then it would make a turn that would make Atlas rockets jealous and zoom back onto the field and hit my target a full 2-3 seconds later. The game couldn't keep track of whether my Barrier was active or not, so every time I would hit the Barrier button, it would simultaneously activate and detonate.
Also, I would be unloading my clip on a Phantom who was in her bubble, and then a half-second later, I would be 10m away from where I was, getting gutted by the same Phantom. This happened about 4 times, and 3 of the times, I got resurrected immediately and just went on fighting. I was IMMORTAL. The last time, I was standing on a ramp, and then I was 10m away (off the ramp) getting gutted (by an invisible Phantom, no less). Since I was the last one, the Mission Failed screen came up.... But my Krogan arose once more - I was actually running around and shooting stuff on the red Mission Failed screen - never seen that before. After that, I just quit.

Knew it. I was totally oblivious- I'm too used to being the predator, not the prey, so it didn't even occur to me that someone might push the button on me. Very well done. On a related note, HurryHarriet and I played yet another Hazard Reactor last night- she managed to cook the geth trooper PUG on like wave 1 or 2, I got him and the other pug (a talon merc) a couple of other times, including a wave 6 escort through the Reactor where I cooked everyone but Ms. Harriet (i.e. myself included). It got to the point where the PUGs were pushing the button every time the reactor was ready, just to make sure that we couldn't get them again. Of course, we did get them again. And again. And again. 
Fun.
Been playing with the Scorpion, seeing where I could attach the rounds.
Decorated quite a few buttocks.
And one husk got one right in the crotch.
I need to get out more

It must be the weather. I've had 4 hosts quit on wave 3 in the past two days.

And then I got a kick-vote. Guess I did something wrong. Perhaps it was that I did all the devices myself in Wave 3 and most of them in Wave 6. Or perhaps it was because I used consumables. Never know with those PUGs.

Look at it from their perspective. It's very possible that lag might've been awful and impairing gameplay. I always quit games if it reaches that level of absurdity.

... I had to solo every single wave. The two PuG's would either bleed out or get sync killed... I wasn't expecting this to happen. :/ *sigh*
BEST COMEBACK EVER!!!
I admit, I was a bit pissy at first. 2 scrubs were in a Platinum lobby with challenge points of 15 and 40, and since I wasn't the host didn't feel it was appropriate to start the kicking. But that still pissed me off and I didn't feel like playing whole heartedly. And of course as we got started they died over and over. We were only on the first objective wave, and after the first device was down I found myself the last man standing. And I died.
Now, if you know me, being the last player standing and everyone watching freaks-me-the-hell-out. I mean, I'm a marginal player at best and have only got to where I am by sheer determination and just playing for so damm long. And playing on Platinum!?! I'm that guy that puts in a respectable showing, doesn't die much and comes in 3rd in points mostly, thanking the powers that be that I wasn't a burden on the team. But today I had a few glasses of wine in me and said f**k it, make these bitches watch while I finish this wave. So instead of letting myself bleed out in frustration I medi-geled and finished the wave. (Ok, I've been practicing on soloing Platinum lately /too so I recently learned a few things and have finessed my Juggernaut a bit.)
Anyway, finished the wave, had no Thermal Clips left, but the team rallied and made one of the most amazing comebacks ever. The scrubs barely died anymore, the other Juggy came back strong and we made it to extraction. Took 51:21, and that's probably my longest match ever. And holy hell, after wave 5 I had to ****** like California Chrome after a victory keg. That was the most hellish part of all.

Been a long time since i was this impressed. Had a concussive shot human soldier n80 (30 cp) called foxytailpony with a mantis on jade/reapers/gold. Me, a siege pulse juggernaut and a very very weak collector adept were in it. She had impressive situational awareness and chose the best tactical choices. I think me and the juggernaut went down more than she did. The juggernaut did good but was overshadowed since he had 1970 cp and better weapons. The collector adept was a standard bad pug.
Edit: This was on my gold difficulty which is 12 enemies on the map, 1 second enemy grenade cooldown and berserk on last 12, which is not normal gold difficulty.

Btw, did you notice what they were doing- pushing the button every time the moment the reactor was ready, just to make sure it was always on cooldown mode so we couldn't get them anymore? Priceless. And, of course, ultimately the ploy didn't work anyways.

Played about a dozen games tonight with the Female Human Soldier, and London came up a couple of times. In the first London game, I ended the first AND second waves by lobbing a grenade from the upstairs apartments, down the central ladder chute, and nailing the last enemy of the wave. Later London came up again, and guess how I ended the second wave? Grenade thrown from the apartments, down the ladder, to nail the last enemy. I had quite a number of other well-thrown long-range grenade kills tonight, but those were the most memorable.
