Really. There are too many people who are playing Gold with no clue.

Ordinarely I'd say you're being a bit too hard. But having a Gold/Hazard/Collectors with a guy who scored 25k....tends to change your perspective.

 

Then he goes alone to the LZ on Wave 11 while the rest of the team is by the other side of the reactor, dies (obviously), and then ragequits. Yeah, did I mentioned it was on Wave 11?

Four Golds on a different variety.

 

First variety: against Collectors on White Hazard. Locks up. Right after a successful Wave 6 escort objectives and the credits notification popping out on the screen taunting me -_____________________________-

Second variety: against Geth on Goddess. Failed at wave 7. I am just not good enough yet to hold my own with no team-mates that I can depend on. Seriously, I scored more than the other three combined and I am not even that good of a player. Oh, and **** Hunters. Seriously, **** them so hard.

Third variety: against Reapers on Reactor. Failed at wave 8, I think, IIRC. The same case at the 2nd variety, but even more severe as I scored to the tune of 99k all by myself while the others hovers around 20-30k range... and they just kept dying and for some reason refused to use missiles or gels (perhaps they didn't have any)

Fourth variety: against Geth on Giant. Successful with full extractions. Apparently for me playing as a Human Adept will yield a much better result against geth compared to when I used a Human Engineer.

 

Also trying to get a feel for Talon Mercenary and Geth Juggernaut on Bronze solos (hahaha ). The first I failed spectacularly while the second I just straight-up dislike. Maybe I should give them more chances.

Krogan Warlord Fail (x2)

 

Geth/Dagger Hazard. There was a Talon merc (great player btw), that Krogan I mentioned, and another decent guy I don't remember much from him (and me as a Turian Ghost/Saber/Acolyte). The Krogan started rushing towards the Geth to try to melee them. You can guess the outcome (35k).

 

Truth is, I've seen quite a lot of good melee Krogans...but honestly I'm starting to forget how they were D:

Not my fault because i was searching for silver and ended up on plat wave 1 With no equipments.

challenge points was the real intention juggy waves , sp use and hurricane points.

I kitted myself out for a bronze game with my level 6 Krogan Shaman with a Hurricane and ended up in a Gold game against Collectors. Horrible. I think a couple of the others may have been in the same boat, M8 and Mattocks in use. We didn't last past Wave 5. Slaughtered..

It was actually hard to find a bronze game or even a Silver one that day.

If "Horde Mode" means tons of husks, then at least let me switch to my Novaguard first. I HATE THEM with my Saber-wielding Turian Ghost (and Phantoms, too ).

You know the thing about bad expectations? They don't always seem to be right.

 

Glacier Hazard/Reapers match. 2 other players plus a Juggernaut with very low scores and absolutely no mods equipped. I sincerely believed we'd had to carry him around, but instead he hardly fell more times than we did, and he did an excellent work drawing Banshee and Brute's attention away from me and the MIP (a Salarian Infiltrator with a Javelin), so we could slay them from a distance. Also, the team did a very good job both at sticking together (absolutely 0 lone wolves), and at objectives. And I ended up 2nd. Great match

I joined a White/Collectors GIP during Wave 3 with my Locust Quarksman. I had to clutch one of the latter waves when people got synced, but other than that it was a pretty smooth game. I would've stayed for more if I hadn't been rubberbanding quite a bit.

 

Oh, and I a-bombed myself twice in a row. I could've sworn I was out of range!

Miraculous!  Started in a gold lobby with most having geared up somewhat.  Got Collectors glacier, host quits almost immediately with no one but me staying.  Was killed almost immediately and I think -- man, I'll just die-out here .  Then some kind soul joins, carries a bit, two others join and we end up with full extraction  (many gels and rockets on everyone's part and me reviving all 3 teammates at 20 seconds to extraction)!

One of those weird times where I selected U/Collector/G quickmatch and ended up hosting a preset Cerberus White lobby once I'd joined... must have joined a lobby that was in host migration and ended up as the host. Reset it to U/U/G and game on.

 

First game have 2 < 100N7 ranked players with crap weapons/gear but what the hell... turned out they were actually quite helpful mostly; second game not so much when 2 people went off score-whoring whilst 2 of us sat in the upload circle at the bottom of the map on Giant vs Collectors, would have been OK with just one person drawing aggro out of the circle but with 2 the upload takes a long time.

 

The last game though (and therefore the relevant one to the topic) it suddenly occurred to me that I was hosting... VOLUS NUTPUNCHER AWAY!

 

 

Damn... Geth .... on Dagger/Hazard .... this game hates me

How do U do that ?

I think it's part of the zombie mod, but I was also mixing and matching some other patches, so I'm not one hundred percent sure. I was also able to vault cover! It was pretty cool.

Smoooth.

 

Hopped into a Silver lobby set to U/R and the host left. So, instead of my usual "Hit it, Jude! Hit circle as fast as you mfin' can!" reaction, I stayed. Surprisingly, two others did as well and I was made host. We readied up and got Hazard Glacier. Ugh. The Slayer went down a lot but I was rollin' my Demo gril and arc naded everything. Had an Asari Valkyrie and Adept laying down the booms.

 

Next up, we get a Batarian Adept who probably shouldn't have been in Silver, but we roll anyway and get Reactor/Carebears. I think we had a Turian Sentinel who knew what he was doing and a Salarian engie who seemed like he was nervous the whole time. I didn't blame him, phantoms make me weak in the knees, too. 

 

Next up, my favorite map/enemy combo on PS3; Hazard Ghost/Collectors.  Had a really smooth match with an AIU, an FQE and a human something or other. (You all look alike.)

 

All in all, a good pug lolSilver time. Need to remember to have fun more often.

Cakewalk (x2)

 

I haven't had much time to play (real life and all). A couple nights ago i do a late night UUG search and as I'm in the loading screen "Hey it's Max!" .. Load in and find FinnClan and Pint Glass Hero waiting in lobby, we pick up a 4th and away we go.

 

The Collectors never stood a chance, then in game 2 we three switch to an all Drell crushathon, and end up against the Reapers. They really never stood a chance. In the middle of the second game it was pointed out that my Drell and Pint's Drell had the identical appearance, same patterns and colors .. a lol-worthy moment for sure.

 

GGs guys, even our 4th was pretty good; I don't think he was used to not having any enemies to kill though ..

Cakewalk (x6)

 

...a pretty crazy cakewalk btw. I teamed up (for as long as 6 matches...the longest I've been by now with a consistent group of random people), with 3 veterans (insane medal numbers, BoTB/Lone Wolf/N7 Weekend banners). Thing is that I was in the mood of 1) Taking the Grenade Damage achievements, and 2) Having fun as hell , so I dusted off my old Destroyer build with maxed Frag Grenade, and put in it a Grenade Capacity V + Adren. Module III (the latter only in the last 3 matches...but it was hilarious )....then I dedicated myself to suicide-bomb everything in my path while giving a crap about my personal safety  (and by that I mean that 98% of my kills from those 6 matches were exclusively from grenades).

 

It was great. Although at first I had no hope of surviving, we ended up tearing apart everything (with me taking a preference for spawns), and I even ended up 1st in several matches (and never less than 2nd in all of them). In that relatively limited time, we also developed some kind of unique "battle dances" with melee attacks, ran into some....well, I'll let you define it yourselves (yep, they were totally frozen), and generally had tons of fun

 

Ended up jumping from practically 0% 0% 0% in Grenade damage to 100% 100% 90%. It was such a pity when I had to leave the lobby....but I was getting sleepy :/

 

These kind of matches makes you believe in ME3MP again

Bloody fantastic night with a caveat at the end.

 

Searching for Gold games, and I joined a wave 2 Gold game in progress of what is quite probably the worst combo of all: Collectors/Hazard Glacier.

 

MY GOD! It was both awful and fun at the same time. The highlight of the night was the talkative two Malaysian ladies in the lobby; it's just so pleasant hearing them conversing with one another since they genuinely like they enjoyed the game, having a lot of fun even though they're (and, well, every one else) were downed quite often in that god-awful combination, laughing; it's a very pleasant thing to hear.

 

They're very good players.

 

In fact, I enjoyed hearing their convo so much that I--and one other micless person that I assumed also enjoyed his/her experience--stayed for a couple of gold games afterwards together with them. Pretty smooth games with Reaper Reactor Gold and Cerberus Jade Gold as well. The last bout the game threw us a London Collectors (UUUURGH) but things went on pretty smoothly, all things considered... that is, until wave 8 when my PS3 suddenly froze

 

I sent one of them an apology message post PS3-rebooting that said sorry, my PS3 froze. Turned out, she claimed that all of their PS3 also froze, hahahaha.

 

Damn, it was a lot of fun last night. Hearing people *actually* laughing and cheerful and having fun incredibly boosted my own experience playing the game as well, despite whatever happening on the screen.

 

Also played a couple of silver games last night, nothing too noteworthy... well, except this one thing when magically my Juggernaut all of a sudden accrued 78 points to spend on level 19 to 20. In addition to the already spent points. Pretty tempted to just let it be so I can have all 6 in powers build for him... but in the end I decided to just promote the whole soldier class and the glitch was fixed (don't want to spend a retrain card on him that I wasn't sure gonna fix the glitch). Oh, and I also joined a Silver/Giant/Cerberus game........ but something felt off... I couldn't find any enemies even after running around post Wave 1 notification popped out........... turned out they were all invisible, WTF??????????????

Heh, I was once absolutely tired of playing against Geth. Then joined an Unknown Enemy lobby, and as the match loaded I kept thinking "Please, no Geth!" "Please, no Geth!" "Please, no Geth!".

 

It ended up being against Geth.

Rio/Reaper/Platinum

I was looking for bronze to try out my new M-99 Sabre and maybe score Tempest points. Was booted from the lobby of one game before I knew I was there and then placed in the middle of a Platinum game on the next try. No way I was equiped, ready or even wanting to play platinum tonight. Not the greatest player but I have been off the past couple of days. I am playing with a different Jugg build for something different. Usually play 66066, but new one so far is 13656 *I think*. Not as good.
Anyhow, I bailed. First time ever - I bailed, scrubbed out. It was pointless to stay: my guns were useless and my only choice was to stand around using heavy melee. Doubtfulpaper60, SethManKA1, FritetheKiller — sorry guys, wherever you are.
