Stupid.

How do you play a Talon Merc and not spam Cain Mines and/or Arrows? I don't even know.

That being said, it was still hilarious, as it gave me an excuse to get on the mic and heckle the guy for at least 2 minutes while he tried to solo after everyone else got synced.  :P

No excuse for heckling in spectator mode.....

Played 2 games vs. cerberus, rage quit because they are not collectors and they suck.

Next game was a GIP vs. collectors. It was...beautiful. I got synced by a crab and still didn't rage. Collectors are so wonderful.  <3

Why in the names of all that are Holy and Unholy did I press that "Ready" button when I joined up a U/U/G lobby with the other three being: (1) Level 14 Soldier, (2) Level 16 Destroyer, (3) Level 15 Quarian Female Engineer, all of them equipped stuff like Avengers, with no consumables?

A) chaaaallenge!! (insert roaring wolf picture here)  B ) masochism C) teaching them how it's done  B) D) not in the mood to search another lobby E) reason unknown, just hit the button :D

Hm.... how does it come every time I consciously choose C I teach them how to get synced, run into a spawn (or make them spawn upon you) and otherwise just fail?

Erm…

Played a series of games today before work. I try to avoid "rage" quitting (never real *that* angry) and avoided it today, but it was close. Three different PUGs with three different teams and they were full of people who didn't do the objectives so they could score/kill hog. The 10th wave of the 1st game was an excort so I left it for them to do it. Almost clued in too late I wasn't carrying the last objective for them.

Second game, guy with a high enough score to know better missles every praetorian as soon as soon as he sees them. And it wasn't like the team couldn't handle them - everyone could hold their own.

Third game was better, aside from the Action Hero who left objectives to everyone else. I've started to refuse to revive people who aren't cooperating with the objectives.

Took a break and played two silver games with my demolisher - much better team play. Co-op all the way, a beautiful feeling. I ought to have marked those players as preferred, I can't recall their tags now.

We wouldn't be if he was reviving the ones that had fallen right next to him, instead of forcing us to gel every damn time. But wait, no, he didn't do it. And yes, I was in that match too.

Managed to get into Wave 10 mostly playing a duo (3 players: me, a good one and a pathetic one who got downed every damn wave. Also never used medigel or missiles). After completing the objective, I decided to run around Jade with the last Brute at 1 armor bar (the other player was downed, too), until the bad pug decided to leave. Fortunately, it didn't took that long.

The good player and I extracted and got our credits :) Now I'm even thinking of doing it more often...(although I felt a bit bad for my buddy...but we were lucky he left pretty soon).

P.D: For the record, and to avoid more retarded posts like Aedolon's one, by the end of wave 10 the guy had 11k. So I don't feel the slightest pity about him.

You need to look at it from both sides.

He may have been right next to you, but there are all sorts of reasons why he may not have been able to revive you - if he was on low health, trying a revive would just end up with both of you dead. If there was a Banshee/Praetorian approaching, trying a revive would also be a stupid thing to do.

I wasn't in the game, so i can't judge, but my opinion is that from what you said, you are heckling a guy for not going out of his way to rectify a mistake that YOU made (ie get killed) :P

Okay, that's it, let me tell you something. I am not the kind of person to complain about how PUGs play the game. I am good at adapting and I tag along to whatever silly strategy they have in mind. Hell, I even went out of my way to help some newbies out, even though I am not exactly the best player on Xbox. You know, seeing as I am a PC player and only got a controller in my hands a few months ago. I don't care how good you are, I don't even care if you use consumables, as long as you're a team player at your best capacity. You want context? I was right at the door. A spawn appeared when I didn't expect it, killed me. I gelled, made a run to escape, failed, fell right at the door. I could see his feet. I was right underneath his Cain mine. Was there any risk if he made an attempt to revive me? No. Did he do it? No. He stuck to his cover like a little mouse. If he had revived me, I was playing with a Cabal, I could turn the situation around for me and for the entire party. I could catch a breather and even use a missile if things got too tough. They didn't have to be though, they only were because we had two players instead of three, seeing as the fourth rage-quitted after seeing what a toot the Talon was, and one of the remaining players isn't what you would call a pro, but, unlike that Talon, he would go out of his way to revive you. That's me, by the way. I am not the best player, I am not even great and I am unsure about whether I am good or not, but I know something for fact: I am a damn team player. He wasn't, we got pissed. There's no other side, because he didn't exactly see much action out there. When you're unsure, stick with your teammates, don't try to be a happy camper in a game that isn't for camping, or, worst case scenario, fall one difficulty back. End of story.

siiiigggghhhh.....

It was about as wonderful as walking into your living room at night, right after you let the dog back in after letting him out, just to find a wonderful present on your living room rug...The guy played a Novaguard without biotic charge. He simply stood in cover and then ran up to enemies nova'd and fell over dead when he missed part of the group with his nova. Gold is a nightmare with people who don't 1.know their class 2.could not hit the broad side of a barn if it was two feet in front of them 3.people who join without equipment and expect you to pick them up after doing something they shouldn't have in the middle of a large group of enemies. I dread the days that at least 2 of my friends are not online when I log in to play...

I do my best to help new players but, I have gone the route of asking people with low N7 and achievement points to step to bronze. I tell them that I appreciate that they are playing the game and would love to have them along for some rounds but, unless they are an experienced player from console, you aren't tall enough to ride this ride...

The first multi-player match I did was in silver when I first purchased the game. I am a solid fps player and thought I should be able to handle silver. Once realizing I was hindering my team I bowed out after explaining I was new to the game and was not ready for silver. After a couple of weeks experimenting in bronze with a few characters, I moved up to silver after I had worked out the kinks. Even now if I am new to a character I research it and do a couple rounds in bronze to make sure I like the class. If I need to tweak things to my play style I do but, I refuse to be a burden to my teammates. I cannot for the life of me fathom why new players think they can just jump right into gold/plat. When they show up in platinum and I am carrying them, they hear about it. I have had people that just started the game show up in plat and do 5k damage for 7 rounds, doing a fabulous  job of imitating a bear rug. I do cut console players with low scores slack because they have experience. As long as they do, I don't mind having them come along.

I wasn't going to bother until you put that "PD" on the end (should be PS btw, it's short for postscript) ... so he was a really, really bad random/borderline leecher - it would have still be been better, with that one other decent player on the team, to have just extracted as quickly as possible then bailed as soon as you got back to the lobby if the bad random didn't leave.

Sorry, I agree with Aedolon on this one, you were just trolling to the detriment of one good player and one bad... I mean, what good did it do you? Did it make you feel like a bawse? If the bad random was a leecher, he'll just find another game to leech in, you'll not have taught him anything ... and if he was just a clueless noob doing his best, all you've taught him is that there are trolls in ME3MP as well.

Amazing....

I dropped into a full gold/unknown/unknown lobby...we ended up with the two aspects i hated the most...condor/geth. I was the phoenix vanguard and the host was a drell infiltrator....the other two teammates kept dying left and right for the first two waves and up until wave 5 we had about 5 or 6 different people come into the game, died constantly and quit.

I thought it was going to be really chaotic since it was only me and the drell, but we managed to pull it off...it was ugly at times, but satisfying....

My other pug game was confusing....

It was gold/Rio/Collectors...and we had what seemed to be a decent group....i was the destroyer, there was a juggy, a krogan warlord and another krogan something... sentinel i think. The team looked like they was playing well, but that game was one of thee hardest matches i've ever played...at one point there was revive party that seemed like it lasted for over 3 minutes at the tower when had to do a hacking objective and delivering a package from one end of the map to the other was an unbelievable nightmare....waves 6-11 was just a complete struggle with scions and praetorians giving off a relentless onslaught of firepower....we survived, but that was just a really, really bad and ugly game....maybe there was some unforseen lag going on, but that game was brutal...

Ordinarely I'd say you're -almost- right, and if that low-scorer would have helped in any way, I'd have never done that. But I repeat:

1) He didn't used a single medigel. Ever.

2) No missiles either.

3) And the only reason he didn't resurrected teammates or did ANY objective was because he was dead during all of those times.

So, was I trolling him? Of course I was. And fortunately it didn't took more than two trips throught Jade for him to leave. So it was like 5 minutes of trolling, not half an hour like you surely think.

And if you're new to the game, there's a little thing called "Bronze", where you can have fun, and leave those on Gold to have fun, too, without having to clutch almost every single wave until the end.

See gladatorium **** like this is the reason I decided not to accept your friend request

I only requested it because of that "Spitfire is great and I'll prove it to you" statement you said. Like I care a **** about you :)

Oh. You misinterpreted my statement. I wasn't proclaiming it to be a super good gun or anything. It's just I like it and have fun with it and that's what matters most to me, but it can be very damn capable even if despite all that there's many better ones out there.

You're kind of a jackass though, a trend you continue at this very moment, so I didn't really plan on playing with you. I mean you threw a tantrum and reported NightSlasher on here when he said he liked to jovially troll people in pug lobbies that use setups he doesn't like via screenshaking, etc....yet you pull this kind of crap. Okay.

His grow up comment was too kind.  I just love idiots that decide to teach one player a lesson at the expense of other players in the group.  "Hey guys!  I was mad at this one bad player so I ran around for 10 minutes and then left with the objective!  I taught him a lesson!"  Meanwhile the other teammates in the game are getting screwed over.

Was this last night on XBox?  If so, I think I might have dropped into that lobby after you left.  I got dropped into a lobby with a Warlord, a Juggy, and a Krogan Sentinel preset to Rio/Gold/Unknown.  I thought it looked sketchy for some reason (can't remember why) so I dropped out.

Anyway, I learned a valuable lesson last night:  The Executioner is the worst weapon to use when you're drunk.  I couldn't keep my eyes focused on the reticle and the enemies at the same time, and misses can be costly with that gun.
