2 matches Reactor, Reapers/Collectors, Bronze
Finally decided to try my Salarian Engineer. I don't know why I was so hestant, I like him. Used a Mattock VIII with Incediary 1. Didn't top the lists but really like the kit. 66644 are the specs. Not quite sure about decoy.

Disregarding the cancer I got from the default controls and epileptic FOV (forgot to fix that crap after I reinstalled the game), my first game after months was quite awesome. What looked like the usual pug moron fest became a thoroughly enjoyable experience after the host felt like rage-quitting after getting downed, and the two other fools left too. The 3 substitutes were great and I felt sorry I had to leave after only 2 games.

No excuse for heckling in spectator mode.....
Agreed. Corpses don't get to have opinions- if you want to have an opinion, don't die. Pretty ****** simple.

His grow up comment was too kind. I just love idiots that decide to teach one player a lesson at the expense of other players in the group. "Hey guys! I was mad at this one bad player so I ran around for 10 minutes and then left with the objective! I taught him a lesson!" Meanwhile the other teammates in the game are getting screwed over.

Okay, that's it, let me tell you something. I am not the kind of person to complain about how PUGs play the game. I am good at adapting and I tag along to whatever silly strategy they have in mind. Hell, I even went out of my way to help some newbies out, even though I am not exactly the best player on Xbox. You know, seeing as I am a PC player and only got a controller in my hands a few months ago. I don't care how good you are, I don't even care if you use consumables, as long as you're a team player at your best capacity. You want context? I was right at the door. A spawn appeared when I didn't expect it, killed me. I gelled, made a run to escape, failed, fell right at the door. I could see his feet. I was right underneath his Cain mine. Was there any risk if he made an attempt to revive me? No. Did he do it? No. He stuck to his cover like a little mouse. If he had revived me, I was playing with a Cabal, I could turn the situation around for me and for the entire party. I could catch a breather and even use a missile if things got too tough. They didn't have to be though, they only were because we had two players instead of three, seeing as the fourth rage-quitted after seeing what a toot the Talon was, and one of the remaining players isn't what you would call a pro, but, unlike that Talon, he would go out of his way to revive you. That's me, by the way. I am not the best player, I am not even great and I am unsure about whether I am good or not, but I know something for fact: I am a damn team player. He wasn't, we got pissed. There's no other side, because he didn't exactly see much action out there. When you're unsure, stick with your teammates, don't try to be a happy camper in a game that isn't for camping, or, worst case scenario, fall one difficulty back. End of story.
Fair enough, so the guy was a crap teammate. But I still don't think you should have heckled him.
1) As bad as he is, he was your ONLY chance of getting through the wave. Heckling is hardly going to make him try harder to clutch the wave for you... ![]()
2) You complain he was not a good teammate, so why not set an example and show him how GOOD teammates behave? Instead of heckling, use spectator mode to give him eyes behind his back and warn him when he gets blindsided.

For you and the other hypocrites around here:
If you wanna play the Internet Hero, go to this thread: http://forum.bioware...-youve-trolled/ , and then dedicate yourselves to wind up as much as you like. At least it's the FIRST time I do something like this, didn't lasted for more than 5 minutes, and the guy well deserved it. I care a crap about if he learned his lesson or not: all I wanted for him is to leave without getting a profit he didn't deserved in the slightest.
And if the other player posts/reads this forum, I apologize to him, but I'd say he must agree that not seeing the guy which we had to revive countless times in the final scoreboard was well worth 5 mere minutes.
And at least I don't dedicate myself of trolling entire matches like others do. But you're welcome anyway, hypocrites.

I think the grow up comment must have been accurate, what are you 12? Wanna know how you get rid of a player like that?
- As soon as you get back to the lobby kick him.
- As soon as you get back to the lobby leave and put an avoid on him.
- If he really irritates you just leave the game.
- Send him a message telling him why his behavior is bad.
The thing not to do is to do something to get revenge on one player at the expense of others who are doing nothing wrong at all.
We are all hypocrites here, won't stop us from blasting some admitted crap behavior.

My 2 game score total with the same group with my alt account (E-Peen?). TBF I was hosting, first match was pre-set to reapers, and I used a Drell Vanguard with Wraith 1 / Incendiary 2 and GC 3 .. the match did take 29 mins, yikes
No one left after the first match (3 much newer players), and because they all tried, did objective, etc .. thought I'd run 1 more. Switched it to UUG, loaded up a Slayer with Acolye 1 and Disruptor 1 and Geth Scanner 5 .. and promptly landed in London / Geth .. not the most ideal Slayer set up. Wave 6 devices were difficult .. wave 10 was center hack, ouch .. we still managed a full extraction though
Man, using that squishy a kit vs the Geth on an open map is not fun, i'll tell ya!

Although it should be noted that disagreeing with someone intentionally dragging a match out to punish one player (at the expense of the others), while, say, occasionally trolling teammates in the Reactor, would not be something that would make you a hypocrite. These aren't really the same at all. Triggering the reactor, killing your teammate, then reviving them takes probably 15-20 seconds, TOTAL.

If you are playing with friend the old reactor maneuver is just fine and dandy. If not it's still a pain in the ass re pugs. If someone intentionally traps me in the reactor and I don't know the people as friends or bsners I am out of the match immediately.

Batarians!
I got in a lobby preset to Rio/Cerbs and I left. When I looked for a PUG again, I landed in that match and boy, am I glad I did. It was a walk in the park. Finished Tech Mastery and made a friend. The other Batarian that was just punching everything. Then I got WFOP. Meh.
Still, he invited me to a new lobby and we're about to go kick butt.

I 100% disagree and 100% disapprove of that, but to each their own, and that's entirely beside the point I was making- which wasn't about whether trapping someone in the reactor is right/good/fun/acceptable, but whether its in the same category as intentionally dragging out a match just to get someone to leave, such that agreeing with the one but not the other makes you a hypocrite. Clearly they're not quite the same, and so there's nothing hypocritical about enjoying trolling teammates (even randoms) in the reactor but disagreeing with intentionally dicking around for 5 minutes just to get back at somebody.

As for the bit I've put in bold ... why? Why should you care if the leech was on the scoreboard at the end? Why did you bother reviving him if he was an obvious leech? What was the point? Why not just extract as fast as possible and then bail the lobby?
What you did just doesn't make any sense to me, I don't see who it benefits, and I've been in plenty of games where someone has barely even registered on the scoreboard... and normally they realise that they're not ready for U/U/G and leave as soon as the match is over.
Oh - and if you look at my comments in that "PuGs you've trolled" thread - you'll see I said in there that I only troll friends ... because that's what friends are for ![]()

- Kicking him would have given a crap to him cos he would already have had what he probably wanted (credits/xp).
- Don't know what an "Avoid" is, but so far I haven't seen that option on PC.
- That would have facked even more the other player, as I was the host. And matches have that kind of tradition of resetting themselves to Wave 1 instead of the current wave if the host leaves. Which, as I said, would have screwed the other player even more that FREAKING 5 MINUTES OF WAITING.
- That's maybe an even more childish solution. And like 1), it'd have served 0 purposes.
Look, let's be clear, alright? it's all about "I rather go burn my feet in lava than to admit my comments are wrong" here, so I hope you won't mind I happily ignore your complete, simpleton, hypocrital and childish comments. Okay? ![]()

We wouldn't be if he was reviving the ones that had fallen right next to him, instead of forcing us to gel every damn time. But wait, no, he didn't do it. And yes, I was in that match too.
Just to weigh in here - Could he see the other players? We've all been in matches where 1 or more of the other players were invisible to us.
He may have been out for epeen, but he also could have been out of sync. Anyone ask him?
