I 100% disagree and 100% disapprove of that, but to each their own, and that's entirely beside the point I was making- which wasn't about whether trapping someone in the reactor is right/good/fun/acceptable, but whether its in the same category as intentionally dragging out a match just to get someone to leave, such that agreeing with the one but not the other makes you a hypocrite. Clearly they're not quite the same, and so there's nothing hypocritical about enjoying trolling teammates (even randoms) in the reactor but disagreeing with intentionally dicking around for 5 minutes just to get back at somebody.

We will have to agree to disagree 100% then.  Trying to play the game and getting locked into the reactor killing just so some dumb ass can run up to me an revive is bad behavior in my books.  If you don't feel that I am needed as a teammate by intentionally killing me in a joke that was old a week after it happened then so be it.  I've been locked in the reactor while trying to carry the back pack.  I've been locked unto the reactor after carrying suspect players for multiple waves.  I've been locked in the reactor after actually dropping what I am doing to rescue a team mate.   Lock me in and I don't know you?  Poof! I am gone.  I don't need the credits or exp that bad.

Um, okay. Like I said, this is completely beside the point I was making. Regardless of what you may think about cooking someone in the reactor, its clearly not the same thing as intentionally wasting time to drag out a match in order to get some sort of petty revenge against one particular player at the expense of the others (probably the most pertinent difference being that one is funny, and the other just retarded). 

 

But I don't see why you would get so upset over getting cooked in the reactor, especially if the person revives you afterwards (which is pretty much standard protocol in my experience), to the point where you would actually leave the game.

Here's the thing.

 

For 'those people' cooking someone in the reactor is funny.

Leaving because you got cooked in the reactor is even funnier.

 

If it really made you mad the proper response would be to sit out a few rounds and collect credits.

Or write a tactful messsage. Beware, the average message falls under the 'even finnier' clause mentioned above.

After searching for a good game for more than half an hour, I finally had a fun game on FB Reactor using the Human Engineer.

 

I am now also able to record and upload my gameplay on the YouTube channel I just created, so that I can show you some of my games.

Missiles

 

I don't know what this guy wanted to do, but he used 3 missiles during wave 11, while nobody was in danger and he hadn't the opportunity to get a killstreak. If it was only to outscore me, then I am quite happy that he didn't manage to do it.

Only 3 of us managed to load in properly while the player who was stuck left soon after, then one player went afk and was eventually booted from the game leaving just me and a good random using a Krogan Sentinel to duo pretty much the whole game. My sound glitched out halfway through and we ended up getting devices on wave 10 but we somehow made it.

Apologies to the random who kept getting dropped into the match only to get stuck on loading, happened to that same guy at least half a dozen times.

For me at least.  The pugs where all good, and everyone hit over 100K.  But my melee/Raider AIU doesn't like Geth/Hydra/Gold

Hosting

Entered a lobby, everyone was ready to go except the host, who left and I ended up hosting. Glacier/Reactor and Reactor Hazard against Cerberus and then Collectors. Using my Salarian Engineer. Happily energy drained a Phantom to death (with a few incendiary shots to help death along) and just becoming more familiar with the kit. A little weaker against the Collectors, though.

QMI + Scimitar on Hydra vs Reapers, it went well I guess. The human sentinel stayed next to the Juggernaut the entire game and spammed Throw.

TSol + Locust on Ghost. The Collectors had a Praetorian sniper. Mission Failed.

Why is it when the game gave me Rio and pizza objectives the package *ALWAYS* spawned at the exact different opposite of the delivery zone? DAMN IT GAME!

Dual Saber action!


Me and Ex Clusum had a great game together yesterday, with both of us using the Saber assault rifle. He used a TGI, and I used the Quarian Marksman. We both did great and got our headshots early on. A real fun game, buddy.

Managed to get into Wave 10 mostly playing a duo (3 players: me, a good one and a pathetic one who got downed every damn wave. Also never used medigel or missiles). After completing the objective, I decided to run around Jade with the last Brute at 1 armor bar (the other player was downed, too), until the bad pug decided to leave. Fortunately, it didn't took that long.

 

The good player and I extracted and got our credits Now I'm even thinking of doing it more often...(although I felt a bit bad for my buddy...but we were lucky he left pretty soon).

 

P.D: For the record, and to avoid more retarded posts like Aedolon's one, by the end of wave 10 the guy had 11k. So I don't feel the slightest pity about him.

 

I don't know why you got so much crap about this. I don't personally go that far if someone pisses me off, like others have suggested I usually just leave after the game and avoid them. But I don't really see the big deal about your post. I used to see people post stories like this all the time on this site, and even now i still see it occasionally and no one says anything.

 

Anyway back OT:

 

Been a few days since i've played but the last games i had were actually pretty decent. No players far below everyone else's skill level, and everyone revived and did the objectives. Good games, one of the few times i accepted a friend request from one of the players.

Strange things

I decided to try playing krolord on some silver games. I dont usually play melee chars, so I probably missed more than enough times that highspeed melee combo. Anyway first game I ended up with another krolord and few others. We plaeyd some waves flying cerberus soldiers left and right. Unfortunately the other krolord quit at some point.

 

I had a little break to tune the weapon and stuff and next game was against collectors in jade I think. There were 2 guys, one of them kept dying every 15 seconds, the other quite often too. Anyway after loads of rezzes came wave 5 and I messed dodging a praetorian and got hugged. The constant dyers were.. well dead too and the last guy managed to run away for a moment, then got downed. Mission failed. Remember to not die, ever, if you dont know your teammates or there will be a high risk of failure

 

Next few games went more or less easily, except I managed to use all my missiles against collectors in vancouver before wave 9. My krolord was not too well equipped to take down those praetorians and whatever from distance and teammates were good but slow killers too.

 

I also wish that people would die somewhere where krolord can take cover if they want a rezz. If I run into one of the open areas where people can duck behind those low boxes and whatever, I get all the scion missiles in the head from 5 directions and next im dead too  Not that I care about randomly doing a open field rezz but someone was doing it all the time.

 

Anyway nice evening and nice class to play, but im not sure if its for me
