The "Phase shot"  thing is his best attribute and a unique power. It can wreck spawns and put dangerous enemies like Phantoms and Dragoons on the back foot. There are probably videos around showing how to use the power . Don't dismiss it too quickly

Yeah, as others said, you do NOT want to spec out of Phase Disruptor. It is awesome. Max it out. Use it often. 

 

I've tried speccing into it but it's... how should I put it... awkward? I never tried it on-host though, since I very rarely ever host.

On topic: I've finally maxed out Claymore but after a few tries with it--yes, even with the reload-cancelling trick--I still like Raider more than it. Managed to be at top of the scoreboard a few times with the same group of PUGs, before EA decided to disconnect with me and the game for some reason froze when I tried to reenter multiplayer :///

Try on-host. I know and feel exactly like you about PD but it's a lot better on host.

Decent people, not OP, the occasional bleeding out. Everybody lived but nobody made it to the EZ. I haven't had that one in a while.

Hmm, I've never noticed too much of an issue with it off-host. Its definitely better off than Biotic Charge off-host, since it doesn't need to lock on to an enemy to work. Also, not sure if this has anything to do with the problem, but keep in mind that PD has a pretty large AoE, so shoot it at their feet or the ground.

Got kicked out of a Bronze lobby tonight. I lol'd so hard. 

 

Ran into ninjarevolution02 on Condor/Reapers. Everything was pretty smooth but the two guys with us just went down way too often. Then, we had a disastrous wave 10 escort. Rockets couldn't even save that escort. But, ninjarev pulled it out somehow. I got downed by a damned warp ball on the EZ wave and he tried for the revive but the Banshee was too close and gerked me.

Biotics

 

Ended up in a lobby with a high N7 player and after one game where everyone was as an engineer or soldier he switched to the Fury.  I thought since it's his lobby I'll stick with the theme/team play and went with the Asari Valkyrie.

 

Anyway, it ended up Hazard Dagger, Geth on Gold and it was a fun game with all the BOOMs from the Biotic explosions. Went down a few times, but was a fairly easy run.

Been pretty good up until recently.

 

I played with someone named Red Lens(or something like that?) on glacier. think they were a bsner, but i don't know. Anyway, not my best game lol. The one after that was pretty laggy. I stayed until wave 7-8 before i left. I just couldn't handle it anymore. Plus the host was getting ticked about the typical "kill stealing" crap, so it wasn't much of a loss.

Host died start of Wave 9, along with another pug.  I and the remaining pug duo'd the Wave to completion, which pissed off the host and he left.

 

Why is that even a thing?

Joined a silver game in progress and while I'm still loading into it I hear two or three guys talking about the use of voluses. Then they sounded disappointed that me, a turian sentinel and not a volus, joined their game and when I finally materialized and activated my Tech armour one of them notices that I'm using 'Hex armour'.

 

Anyway, there was a Cabal, a Javelin GI and a Juggernaut and then me. Wave four or five the Cabal starts spawn nuking and proceeds to do it pretty much once every wave afterwards. Then he started dying pretty much every wave as well. Game goes smoothly all the same and near the end of the game they start talking about scores and I think they'd made a bet about how much the fourth random, or the Juggernaut, would score. Something about 30K in any case.

 

Juggy goes down two secs from extraction and we get a partial because of it. In the post game lobby I see the Cabal is an ultra-high N7/CP player, probably the highest I've seen in 5,000 games or so. You'd think they'd be able to stay alive in a silver game ...

Dropped into an ongoing gold game on Giant a few days ago as a Jugg and this Paladin runs over and desperately starts blowing ice in my face. So I'm thinking okay, what's his problem? Then I notice it's a geth game. Guy must have mistaken me for a Prime.

Two PUGs, actually. First one I decided to test the Black Widow in the hands of my QFI. Not bad at all. That gun clearly stands up to its reputation. I still have trouble with the scope. It disorients me, but oh well, I worked around it.

In the second one, the host changed to Asari Vanguard, so I changed to the Huntress. Condor/Reapers was a breeze. I didn't use a single missile. Everyone else did though. I still don't understand what the Havoc had in mind when he was camping with his Krysae. We were fun enough.

No clue. When I saw the lobby, I had 2 kick votes already and 1 other guy had a kick vote, so I just threw one of my own up. Next thing I know, I'm kicked. They might have been scared of my N7, my CP, my Level 20 Huntress, the Javelin X, my Corsair banner.... or maybe they were just waiting on someone. I laughed way harder at that kick than I should have.

Reminds me of this sweet little lol moment I had a couple of days ago as I was loading into a silver lobby. Something like "Sh*t, they have a lot of challenges points. We should kick this person!"

 

I have 13K something CP. I wish I could be there and see their reaction when they run into someone with hundreds of thousands of points.

Played three games in a row with the same 3 good random players which doesn't happen too often. And one of the randoms seemed suspiciously capable for an N7 80 something.

Awesome. But it's Hydra and one Krogan has hidden the missile launcher, were they using the Batarian Gauntlet or is there some other trick I don't know about?

The Worlard can hide the launcher with his heavy melee. I'm not sure if the other Krogans can.
