Jade/Cerberus/Gold. Knew the lobby was gonna be "fun" the moment I dropped in, so I only have myself to blame. There was a relatively decent looking Human Vanguard who, I thought, would be of help even if the other two were not. But they apparently didn't put points into Nova. Or Biotic Charge. Or Shockwave. Or, going by how frequently they went down, fitness.
Practically did the Wave 6 hack on my own, then decided to bleed out on wave 7, when no-one else bothered to get up.

I have this rule where I will play with anybody in a Gold lobby .. think I'm going to re-visit that philosophy as I have had a few absurd Gold pugs this week. So last night i'm drunk and I pug a match before bed ... the host has an N7 of 20 something and a cool name 'I'm Toast' .. and 2 other low N7ers.
So i'm thinking any of these might be someones alt account. UUG become GlacierH / Reaper .. love that combo. My team however, not so much .. wave 4 gold revive medal .. you know it's bad when by wave 8 you had to cluch 3 rounds (including round 2!!!!) .. what a cluster.
We wiped when I ran out of med gel on 8 and the hazard caught me unawares. I think if I was sober it still wouldn't have been a problem. But no one should be scoring over 100k before wave 5 ends.
Normally idc that much about the result, but the scenario has been playing out far too much recently

My last pug was briefer than your exclamation mark. I adopt a similar approach normally, and I was hoping to squeeze one more quick game in earlier, knowing I didn't really have time. I landed in a U/U/G lobby with no one else but the host - N7 45 with a level 5 Drellguard, Crusader 1 and BW 1 and no gear or mods of any kind. He/She readied up as soon as I appeared. Yeah, good luck with that. Unless I know for sure that it's TMB on an alt a/c, I'm outta here.

5 Missiles, 5 Ops packs, last 2 gels all used during a wave 10 centre hack on Giant Hazard against Reapers. Along with most of what my teammates had too. The last 10 seconds or so saw me resorting to dodging around repeatedly praying for the damn thing to finish and then just running like hell. It worked! Vanilla Human Adept melee build is great fun. Some nice sniping in difficult circumstances from ninjarevolution2, and I appreciated the revives.
Dreadful.
I decided to pug a few platinums. Got Condor and Rio. Err. Then Jade. Of course, devices happened on wave 10. And, at the very moment I started disabling it, a bloody ****** idiot decided to nuke a spawn right across the map, causing me to get insta-grabbed and the team to wipe. Moron. It tried to get some Drell adept action later but got DC'd. Not my day.
I ****** hate this game right now. So much ****** lag and bullshit.

That's been a theme for me recently, too. The other day the host was N7 30 with a level 10 Salarian (don't recall which), an Avenger II and, of course, no consumables. The rest of the group were only slightly better. The result has been that I find myself playing with a bit more cheese, and occasionally walking away from lobbies that look like I'd have to clutch from wave 3 on.
The other day I was part of a wave 7 wipe when I got sick of kiting everything and decided to face-tank the last banshee standing... that's not usually my style.
On the bright side, my last three PuGs were fun enough to remind me why I still play this game, including a rare (for me) sighting of TheNightSlasher in the first one. The theme, if there was one, for all three matches will be my 'one word':
Devices
Dagger Cerb, Hazard Dagger Collectors, London Collectors. All could have gone south fast on devices, but didn't thanks to good teamwork.
Bad.
First of all, it was laggy as hell. Second, I learned the hard way how exactly omnibow works when fired from cover. Wiped @ 10th wave. Managed to score half decently it seems despite being dead most of the time, so probably I wasn't the only one suffereng.
Hectic...
The host was a melee-specced GI (I think), I was testing a tweak to my Fury build, a TSent joined and we started U/U/G as a trio... Collectors / Glacier - oh heck!
So much running, so much exploding things (especially when a Phoenix Adept joined on wave 2)... it was fast, hectic and, by the skin of the teeth, a full extraction.
N7 12,000 my a**! That's basically it.
Pugs: Underpowered
Cerberus, Jade, devices and lag an awful combination.
Temptation.
There was an A-bomb running around the EZ for the last 15 seconds, and I was a vanguard.
I resisted and we had full extraction. It was so hard.

Hurrah! Probably the first time I've played Rio, with pugs, without someone running to the box of shame. Host was good too, nice QFI gameplay and occasional stealth medic, ran with the pizza etc.
Long.
Rio/Reapers/lolBronze. Two of the objective waves were pizza deliveries, but I only made it to the pizza once before someone else snatched it. So three times, the pizza spawned at the opposite end of the map, and the person who picked it up walked... very slowly. I suppose it was better than devices, I've had people shooting stuff on the other side of the map while my Geth Trooper got killed multiple times doing one device (on Silver). Rage-rocket moment, that, even rocketed two guardians! 
The match went fairly smoothly otherwise, quite fun too despite taking five minutes longer than average.

Now when that scene happens to me, it's not so neat and tidy, because the enemies are all waiting for me as I spawn in.

Moron wants to get first place, tough luck. They were a good player though - really good HE. It was funny how their attitude changed as the games passed, trying harder and harder to keep up and beat me. Why some people care that much is beyond me.

Wait, so klaptrock and Tchebutykin entered at the same time as you... how did they get stomped on the other side of the map to the LZ? And why doesn't the killfeed show who took them down?
Hazard downed those 2. And they didn't join at the same time .. just nothing else in the feed in the interm
