When you join a GiP it shows you the other players who are in the mission in the form of a list of "____has joined the mission", regardless of what else has happened in the mean time.
That said, I've seen Collector and Geth Troopers simultaneously stomp two people with a fair amount of distance between them, when there is only one trooper left. I was offhost each time, so lag cannot be ruled out, but it's happened a few times.

marksmad got it right. Anyway, I did not stop to ponder such weighty questions. I only stuck around long enough to get the screenshot as it is pretty rare to drop in and see an entire team get stomped and/or bleed out at the same time.

Both the above are brilliantly skilled at bleeding out with 12k n7. I would say that they are Einsteins of their field.

255K points with TSent using that OnlyUseMeArcPistol on Hazard Dagger against Reapers... these pugs need to try harder, I felt like I was doin' all work and it wasn't even that hard. Once Wave 11 came, the host was suffering Memory Leak AIDS intensly, he didn't leave until 3 minutes later after Wave 11 wasn't going anywhere. Good thing I retained my consumables used for that match.

On the next match(Giant/Geth/Gold), I met a person named Wouter2001 with N7: 15,000, and CPs: 280K. The guy had 2800K hours using the Paladin with the Phaeston, while I was GI with the GPR(First time ever using it with this character). I could already tell this guy was a try hard. On Wave 3, he didn't bother to help with the hack;wave 6, didn't help with object recovery;wave 10, only helped with 1/4 of the hack. On Wave 11, he decided to go apesh*t with his rockets, obviously, trying to become 1st on the scoreboard. LOL! In the end, I ended up with 130K, and he with 110K. Try harder, buddy!

U/U/G landed me and another guy in London/Reapers/Gold wherein we proceeded to get hack circle 3 times in a round. What are the odds of that? Add to that a couple of PUGs (joined in wave 2 or 3) who should be playing Bronze and some really frisky Banshees and it was a wonder we managed to extract. Thanks to said guy who clutched wave nine after I got grabbed.

An N7 180, 765 CP pug using a Human Sentinel, no equipment (not even gear), and an Acolyte with a piercing mod outscored a grenade spamming BatSol and a Snap freezing Paladin.
And he isn't even a second account, since his profile says he's had Xbox Live for 4 years. What an awesome newbie pug. I honestly thought I'd be carrying him but he still scored like 100k on UUG. Me and him carried the other 2 idiots

Strange thing about this is whenever I play Gears of War, I never accidentally pull out a grenade when I'm trying to switch to a Hammerburst, etc. The problem isn't the controller. Bioware hates me.

Ran a couple open lobbies tonight with some of the unfinished maps, but one of them turned into a solo when nobody else joined.
Edit: it took so long because I kept kiting around the last enemy of each wave to see if someone would join

Sat in a lobby for ages while the host and his mates talked and texted, because I and one other didn't have a mic they sent me a chat request.
I rage quit after a few minutes. The PUG I joined after that was pretty unremarkable, nothing to write home about. So to speak.

Collectors have regained their position at the top of my "couldn't be bothered dealing with" list, with Cerberus being knocked off their perch for most BS in a match. If I wasn't being sync killed through a wall by a praetorian, I was being shot down by scions, committing suicide whilst in the hack circle, or just not having a fun time. I get that the Talon Merc is squishy, and I play accordingly - but I'd be shocked if there wasn't some Collector trolling happening there. At least the swarm on Hazard Glacier didn't kill me. I'm glad my mic is push to talk, else the team would've gotten an earful of unpleasant language.
Lacking
Skill that is to say. Not terrible players, just seemed a little lost with the flow of the game. Ignoring objectives, camping in spawns and low ground.
So when I finished up, I popped over to the last played with list. Yup...all 3 were previously avoided players. Good to know that works.
Why?
Enter ongoing game with a Cabal, Glacier Hazard, Collectors. Two players of the team are skulls, myself and the last player finish the wave. Up pops "Wave 2". Sure enough the same two who went down are down through the match, I exhaust rockets and gels by the end of the 2nd objective wave. The team ultimately fails on wave 8 I believe. Back in the lobby, sure enough that is the combo that was chosen by the host.

Reported them all for Terrorism

...for tonight at least. Everything has been glitchy. Tons of lost connections, host migrations, no synergy PUGs... It's a long list that started with Hazard Ghost Collectors. Third target to be eliminated was a Collector Captain. He ducked behind some cover. I swooped next to it for the grab. Got credit for it and started looking for the next one. Like Jenkins after Alenko's biotic display up pops the Captain with half health and shields. I distinctly heard it say, "That was totally awesome!" Say wat? All four of us are laying down fire on this guy followed by missiles. Not. A. Scratch. Timer stops. We fail.
Then there was Hazard Reactor that had a hack circle either in or on the other side of the hazard. The doors were down just enough so you could not pass through, but it was just the right height for phantoms. So, done...
...but I'll restart the xbawks to be sure...
