UUG, landed in a lobby with three N7 20-somethings all with double digit CP scores, low level common/uncommon weapons, and literally zero consumables or gear of any sort. It was still the least bad lobby I'd seen in five minutes of looking, so what the hell, I figured, and put on my Jug. We got Vancouver Cerberus, and they did way better than I expected. Everyone buddied up, helped with objectives, revived when they could, etc. I got 199K, and they just barely beat me, if you added all their scores together. I even stuck with them for one more match, which turned into White Collectors. I liked their spirit, but my back was tired after that, so I looked for another lobby. Unfortunately, between other newbs and terrible hosts/lag, that was the high point of my games tonight.

As in I sent it. Went against my better judgement and stayed in a lobby with a n00b Juggy host with no equipment. He got downed a lot, refused to take part in the wave 3 hack, and bled out during wave 6. The fucktard then decided to quit after I'd delivered the second pizza and we were cleaning up.

I theorize that he had sufficient coding aptitude to break certain aspects of the game but not all of them.  I further extrapolate that he was attempting to acquire currency at as fast a rate as possible. Based on these two assumptions, it is logical to take one of the highest damage-dealing classes and complete rounds at the maximum possible speed.

 

Of course, it would be much easier to just hack your credits, but that seems like cheating.

 

Maybe, definitely possible.

 

They weren't doing a whole lot, though.  By the time I left, I think I'd seen them kill about 5 things in total.  This was round 4 (I had to test Ravagers).  Maybe they busted out the slick moves in the later waves, I don't know, but when I saw them, they were camping the LZ.

I mean, it's not that I was too stupid to realize that a simple shift from Geth/Gold to Collectors/Gold is enough to turn undergeared kroguard from biotic steamroller into little girl running from stuff for half of the game, but there's that, experienced firsthand.

 

Bonus fun points for something happening in the process making you get like 3 sec lag (and considering BC isn't very responsive already, well...).

While hosting a silver game, my playful kitten stepped on my Xbox and ejected the disc ... I wrote an apologetic message to the other three and one of them replied back "LOL. Np."

 

I hope they were okay in the end.

Hey I believe i played with Svalting in a short game on hydra the other day, shot because a map glitcher was there and I bailed out.  As for my last pug:

As in I was surprised at how well my melee Paladin scored in a giant cerberus match.  I had been struggling with him in previous matches as I was levelling him up but had a good last game with him and was able to shield slap a good number of phantoms.

Hi, yes you did indeed. I'm sorry about that one. It wasn't fair letting you and the batarian take the brunt of the attacks but I refuse to help cheaters.

 

41 minutes later, lol, the idiot was finally dead after having used up a ton of consumables. He was quite angry with me too. Shame, I would have liked to see him tackle the final objective all on his own, since he refused to revive anyone else.

To anyone who just played a match on Hazard Giant/Gold/Cerberus with me: apologies.  I couldn't see any of you.  Or the turrets.  I wasn't being a douche and ignoring when you got taken down...I actually literally couldn't see you. 

 

I've actually played 4 games today, and it's a tie between the last one and the previous one, which was a laggy Giant/Geth match as to which was the best.  First one had so much lag I was rubber-banding from the LZ to the reactor on Reactor (wave 3 wipe) and the other was a wave 10 wipe with a team who, apparently, didn't have any medigel or missiles at all, and loved watching me solo the later rounds.

I love vanguards since they've become what they are in ME2. But when it comes to MP... especially off-host, you know...

I arrived in a gold lobby (I'm always geared up with consumables) only me and the host were there and i immediately received a kick vote..  I was like ok? Well **** you too and i vote kicked him/her back and the pyjak left. Alright whatever, so i looked for another gold match and i landed in the Reactor map, i don't remember their names anymore but the players started in seconds to melee me,  uhmm right..  You have to do better than that to intimidate me but okay

 

Also they were not helping out doing objectives, except me and later on one of them came to his/her senses and helped out.

Anyway, hoping for better luck next time while searching for pugs, bunch of pyjaks.

Hard-work - got Collectors and I typically wanted to have a little fun with the team but the pugs were less than cooperative   Twice I managed to kite a praetorian onto a team mate. Rusty (RustyBuckets02) was unaware of my kiting and it resulted in his Asari getting picked up from behind, my reaction at the time:

 

Sadly he was saved at the last second by a rocket from CaptWiigum  . Then I managed to feed wig only for Rusty to return the favour...I was sickened by this spectacle  of 'team-work' and 'comradery' between the two of them and was disgusted further when on 3 occasions the Possesed abombs I detonated right next to them did not down them. Thankfully in the end my hard work paid off and I got Rusty and the other pug with a well timed Possessed Abomb which I kited to him...I had to pretend like I was out of rockets so that the scrubs would let their guard down  . Needless to say I was owed two crab feeds and at least 3 downs by Possessed abombs. I blame on-host lag

Anyway, had a jolly fun silver game on Vancouver with what sounded like pretty new players, joined in progress so I don't know exactly what kits they were using. One of them couldn't get pull to work on anything but in the end it seems it was due to lag, during the final wave he said there were Atlas rockets coming out of the floor to hit him. And another was confused about biotic and tech explosions wondering if reave was setting of tech explosions (can it?) It was more likely due to my CS I suspect.

 

During the final wave we had invisible turrets and a glitched, invincible Guardian. To me it looked like he was lying down on his side but apparently he was attacking me. One of the others who used Snap freeze finally managed to take him out, phew.

 

Very nice and funny game and I enjoyed listening to the friendly conversation for a change.

I do it all the time regardless of which kit I am playing . It just looks better if you do it as a Krogan or Batarian

Took my level 1 BatSol into a Silver game with a level 1 Jug, a level 1 Adept, and a level 15 Vanguard.

 

End of match, all three level 1's were almost identical in points.  The level 15 was dead last with barely a sliver.

 

Was a very impressive level 1 offensive Jug, I'm gonna have to look up his spec later

Two games in a row with every possible form of BS wrapped up into one big turd. A ring of Phantoms spawning around me, grenades not working, bullets not working, thermal clips not working, ops packs not working, gels not working, shield gate not working, health gate not working, every enemy on the map going for me and not my teammates half the game.

Finally decided to start playing Vanguards, after avoiding them in MP for a good two years. Specced one of my Human Vanguards for charge + nova desctruction. The on-host trial solo went pretty well, aside from a badly placed wave 10 device, so I decided to try it off-host. I had a bit of lag (evidenced by rubber-banding) where nova cancels were only working every second or third attempt. To rub salt into the wound, the enemy was Collectors. Everything went smoothly until wave ten targets, then bam a scion took me down as I turned my back to go chase after a downed team mate. It all went downhill from there.

Had a shield boost spamming Volus following me all game, he was healing me so fast that I was able to spam Phase Disruptor almost non stop. Possibly the only game where I was happy to have a support Volus, we managed a 19 min game despite that guy not actually killing anything himself.
