I only managed one pug today before I was sick of it, but it was worth it.

 

My word:  Triple.

 

As in, I finally decapitated three enemies with a single sword swing using my Shadow.

Had my QMI in a Reactor/Reapers/Gold.  I shut the Krogan Adept in the reactor 3 times in one wave!  That made up for having to solo Waves 8 9 and 10.

 

Speaking of which, after soloing Waves 8 and 9, Wave 10 was Devices.  Two pugs IMMEDIATELY got Banshee sync killed, the third got Brutalized and didn't gel.  So I had to do all the Devices alone.  As soon as the 4th Device was done, I walked up to the nearest Banshee and gave her a hug that we both desparately needed.

As in, I used top level consumables, a crutch kit (BatDept), all my d-pad consumables, and still only just extracted by the skin of my teeth.

 

I still can't believe Clyde persuaded me to actually play platinum pugs!

10 Waves Survived in a gold pug



It's the first time that I got 10WS in a pug. Anyway I was playing my Krosent, the pugs were playing... hmm ...you'll never guess.

1k points but with Sabre 10. Has 200+ of level 4 consumables and nearly full ultra-rares. and 39m in credits. 74 hours of playing.

Surprising.

 

I always have too many SMG 3 boosters, so I use a Quarksman BPP build to use them up. Actually kills enemies absurdly fast, and is pretty fun with the weird recoil.

 

Anyway, got a gold lobby with two >100 N7 pugs with low level weapons and one medium N7 pug, using a volus adept with a reegar 4.

 

Ended up getting Reapers/Glacier, and I immediately called our imminent demise. Actually, I called it back in the lobby, but was feeling adventurous for some reason. Then, to my surprise, we made it to wave 4(with about 10 downs), and then even more surprising to wave 8(30-40 more downs) and finally to wave 10! That was extremely surprising, as by that point I'm out of medigels, ops packs, and missiles. Objective ends up being the shortest drone ever, literally taking like 20 seconds to finish. One guy still bleeds out, though.

 

Then comes wave 11, and I'm just bored, so i have some fun using all my ammo packs at once. It's actually fairly amusing; with AP IV and Marksman, you can nuke spawns with that much damage. 

 

Nonetheless, with the three of them running around wildly enemies end up everywhere and I go down and get stomped before they can get there. They all retreat to the LZ...

 

At which point one of the guys pulls out his rocket launcher and proceeds to nuke everything nearby repeatedly. And then use medigel when he went down. AFTER he bled out multiple times in the earlier waves. Thanks, dude, I really appreciate the help.

 

Anyway, they all die like I suspected they would, but one of them STILL has a medigel left, uses it at the right time, and is in the LZ. Lone Survivor.

 

All three of their scores put together don't come close to mine.

 

 

 

Fortunately I saw that Crashsuit was on! Which Leads to...

 

Anesthetic.

 

After that pain I needed a breather, so I snuck into his game and ended up in what I think was Neptune Geth, which was really fun. Thanks for that, it's really cool getting to figure out the layout of a whole new map

First was London with literally 50 brutes and Atlases to greet me upon entering. I lost my mods but oh well, serves me right for putting on good ones before I know.

Rio. Vorcha soldier. Wave 5, my dodge stopped working. (Game glitch, because the A button still worked for sprint and cover.)

 

Turns out the Vorcha are the first thing that Atlases target - prolly it's the flamer, right? And those rockets BURN! OWW.

 

Result was some nasty experiences with ... well, everything Cerberus, so I spent the end of waves 8, 9, 10 in spectator mode. And I was kicked on returning to the lobby

Nerve-wracking...

 

cerb/dagger/gold....entered a game with a male quarian something and a turian infiltrator....these pugs would die and not gel at all...i kept risking myself trying to save them, but by the time i realized these cats wasn't gellin' or really helpin' with objectives, i was out of consumeables...and i know sometimes it can't be helped, but these guys let those engineers set up turrets EVERYWHERE....trying to do the escort with turrets, phantoms, and dragoons and atlas's all while trying to cross that open area on the bottom of the map?.......i got it done, but used missles and ops packs to survive...didn't help in later waves tho...

 

I think we made it to wave 10, (did the objectives) but it was a frustrating game...

Man, we almost had a 10WS on Dagger/Collectors the other day, until wave 10 devices. We managed to get 3 without an issue, and the the 4th spawned in the middle area near the ammo box ramp. Out of nowhere, Pratorean beams come from ACROSS THE MAP and take us down. Heartbreaking

Long story short, my AA dropped into FB Giant/geth/gold with a Kroguard host and no one else came in. Needless to say, explosions and dead toasters everywhere. It actually ended up being a smoother and faster game than the majority of full team pugs I played tonight. Go figure.

Aw yeah, all board the train for "one step closer to maxed manifest town".  I have a rule, that I only play a certain set amount of games a day, unless I get a UR, in which case I always play the next game with said UR, with whatever cheesy class I feel like.  So, I took my newly maxed out Eagle for a spin on the TSol.

 

Given the host ragequit after he went down in the first round and I lost all my consumables, I did fairly well.  Also, Eagle in cover, with Marksman, is basically a high precision automatic sniper rifle.  Was sniping fools from the top of Hazard Dagger all match long.
