Floating.
Not really a pug, but don't feel like creating a new post. Dagger/P/Reaper. I was a vanilla HA. One of the later waves I hit a phantom with singularity then heavy meleed her. She started to fly off the map at the end of the long corridor, but then stopped. On my screen she was upside down about 20 feet up. From there she was shooting me and the other survivor of that wave. Down to just her but she is invincible. The host was trying to direct us as she was apparently very much on the ground but invisible to us. The other player had the launcher out and fired a missile when we finally found her as she gutted me. At least we knew exactly where she was.
Something similar happened to me on Dagger too, but it was centurion for me. Although I didn't send him flying, but just killed (or so I thought). He downed me later. Last man standing managed to take him down, although it seems he has never seen something like that.
One thing, camping the LZ during pizza runs is to try to keep the path clear for delivery. On some maps the enemy camps the LZ after the first delivery and before the second if it's unoccupied. White is a notable example.
Never noticed that, will keep that in mind. Mostly see enemies there being drawn there by players sitting there. Happens to me on Ghost all time (or maybe it's one of those maps you're talking about?). Super annoying to pizza there.
OT: Mildly amusing (pick whatever of those words as "one").
Had mildly lulzy moment during recent Glacier/Cerberus/Gold. I was playing paladin and we also had slayer and probably an engineer of some sort there. That was a lot of explosions. Two somewhat funny moment took place during that game.
First one was when I got downed on stairs with ammo box and then revived. Apparently, I've ended up outside of the map.
So, I was teleported into the spawning point.
...Cerb engineer and his buddy peacefully set up turret and they're almost done. He certainly didn't expect a freaking paladin appearing out of nowhere behind him, especially considering he was on the other side of the map three seconds ago.
I certainly didn't expect to end up alone in front of the turret and two engies as well since, you know, I was with my team just a few seconds ago.
I had a moment to say "hi". And also prime things before going into shield stance to block turret's hail. Rather bad habit that always gets me killed against geth hunters saved me this time. Those dudes were the last on that wave too...
Later on we had two of us downed and had to duo the last remaining enemies. We figured out that there are 2 atlases left sticking together, so we just cover camped and spammed powers. Dozens of all sorts of explosions and bursts later, second atlas went down after the first one, but wave doesn't end. When smoke revealed, I noticed someone lying on the floor, motionless but alive still. That was guardian. Damn, that dude was approaching us with those atlases and tanked endless combos we spammed, enough to kill two atlases. No wonder he was looking a little tired.
We didn't manage to find his shield btw.
