Annoying.

I hadn't taken the jugg out for a while, so I decided to play him for a game or two. I join either late wave 1 or early wave two. It's reaper/hydra/gold. For the first wave I'm doing kinda meh, i was a little out of practice. But the start of the next wave I'm kicking ass. As i start to catch up to the second and first place player, they both nuke a spawn very early on. I catch up, and this time i pass them both. They both nuke another spawn. And this happens until they both run out. I outscored one, and the other outscored me by like 4000 something. I sent em both a message saying good game, and that they score whored very well. And their mother and i are very proud of them. One didn't respond, and the other responded with screw you. Ah, good times. I still don't understand why some people get so butt hurt about being outscored. Hell, I just got outscored pretty significantly a little while ago and I didn't die or have my penis fall off or anything. So I think it's safe...it's only been a couple hours though.

Killstreak

 

Played as an ExecutionerVolus with an AIU, FlameTrooper an some Krogan. Reactor Hazard / Geth. Wave 3 objective - central hack. I managed to lock to entire team in the reactor once the objective was done. Not on purpose obvs... there were a sh!tload of Geth in it. Anyway, Flametrooper and the Krogan couldn't stay alive so bascially it was a Volus-Edibot duo.

Had an eyelash or something in my eye and my eyes were watering so much through the whole game I could barely see anything O_o

Not go into cover. Not heal a fallen player (whose recovery icon isn't even on my screen) and the same for a device. I need to move but the game can't figure out which is the command I want. Died 3 times to that. 

 

Seriously though, I love standing over someone, staring at their icon hoping it turns green so i can revive them.

goddess, gold, Cerberus. Two asari and two batarians. Worked really well. Fair amount of biotic explosions. Only non adept was a batsent. GG!

I had a few games tonight where I had the strange occurrence of all the enemies focusing on me.  Actually worked out well in one mission to kite them away from the objective.  But, sometimes it is rather irritating to have everything on the map in a plat game bearing down on little lonely me.  Whatever, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?  We'll see if that holds true in the future.

I have mastered the secrets of Geth technology, and subsequently can stun and stagger the sh*t out of enemies.  Weapons platform GT + Adas = totally unfair advantage.  Just did a plat Collectors game, and it was smooth as hell, despite having to carry a newish pug and a Krolord who was sometimes...hasty in engaging sync-kill enemies.

 

OK, the Javelin X backup certainly didn't hurt.  But the Adas did a good 90% of the work, and was oh so good against Abominations.

Just had quite possibly the easiest gold game I've ever had. Reapers/Hydra, using my Talon Engineer...I barely had to leave the LZ. That map is just MADE for the talon, he can shoot like 5/6ths of the map by walking 20 feet. Plus I had decent pugs, they spread out perfectly, preventing spawning back behind, and what ones did spawn were announced by the detonation of my cain mines. The mines also happened to announce the end of that problem, which was convenient. I didn't go down a single time, the others went down maybe once each(twice for one guy, I think) and we ended up finishing in barely 17 minutes. Ridiculous. Talon just annihilates Reapers; bow can kill everything in 2-3 shots save banshees, and can take down banshees to bubble in 2~ish shots, and armor in 2-3 more. AND it autotracks them as they jump, making missing almost impossible xD

 

Just absurdly silly easy.

 

I also found an actually decent use for Cryo Rounds; if you slow the brute in front, the ones behind get slowed as well as they try to get around it. This gives you all the time in the world to kill everything in sight. With a Talon there's no real way to detonate anything, anyway, and 80% of my DPS comes from my omnibow, so having a nice, practical debuff like that is really quite nice. Especially since I've got like 30 of both III and IV's.

What happened if you group together an AIU, Paladin, with two Engineers, and one of them (me) was using Cryo Ammo? Fire, cryo, and tech bursts every one second. The reapers didn't stand a chance. The explosion sounds were so beautiful, so poetic, Shakespeare would be proud.

Played with a couple of pleasant Spanish players for a few games last night. The only words I can understand from them were: Pendejo, Puta, and THANKYOUBRO! when I saved one of them from Banshee's hug of love with a well-timed missile shot, hahaha.

It felt like 3xHELL.

 

I wanted to try a different build on the N7 Fury. So I create an U/U/G lobby.

 

First was FB London/Geth . . . free stuns and stagger for everyone. Even some Geth Combat Drone shooting through a wall. **** those Hunters/Bombers. I died A LOT.

 

Second was FB Glacier Hazard/Collector. Magnet Bug Claws, dying while dodging etc. It felt like I was hitting the floor every few seconds, but somehow it was getting better in the later waves.

 

I set the third game to FB Glacier/Cerberus to let off some steam.

Was nice and fast until wave 6: While dealing with the second target my Hurricane jammed.

No more Acolyte to slaughter Phantoms, no more Missiles to help team mates, no more revives by me (only 1/3 of the circle before the animation was cancelled).

Only BEs and enemies dodging the Throws . . .

I tried to warn the others, but ME3 didn't seem to register my mic.

We almost wiped on wave 9 (after I rageGelled into a Phantom), but luckily I had a competent cheating team mate (LegionEffect, stayed even after that second game).

Edit: He used a 6/6/6/6/6 build and he has lots of this kind. I hate it when someone seems to be doing well and then I see a glitched build was used.

Someone said something about not being able to see certain enemies . . . so at least I was not the only one with a bug --- how reassuring.

Somehow I was able to activate the drone on Wave 10 though (devices would have become a problem I guess). And I could also kill the last remaining Phantoms after the Objective was done and the other players got killed --- I TRIED to revive them, but . . . well.

 

On the bright side:

I really don't know how we managed this, but these games resulted in 20:08/Full Extraction, 16:27/Full Extraction, 23:13/Partial Extraction and an average of ~79909 Credits.

Last night I didn't even get into a game with these two super heroes in the lobby I landed with my Turian sentinel. Both were human soldiers without gears and equipment. Both were wielding unmaxed avengers and the other had also mantis 4... Game was preset gold/geth/giant. A fourth person joined the lobby with cabal, but before I was able to push ready I got two kick votes... Then I got kicked   Hope the cabal had a good curry, because they sure as hell needed it 

The same thing happened to me a few days ago. Back in my days we kicked noobs, now noobs are kicking us   !

Have experienced the same a few times lately, usually in gold from poorly geared players with low level uncommon or rare weapons when entering a pug lobby with lower level characters (be cause you just have to be lvl 20 for gold right?)

And is it just me or does it seem to be a lot more new players on PC now after the latest ME3 price reduction on Origin?
