Had an unexpected duo with a guy named AnimusBorn (I think). UUG gave us Giant/Collectors/Gold - I was a Justicar, and very fittingly, he was an Awakened Collector Adept. 

 

I played pretty dumb and used wayyy too many of my consumables before I realized that we weren't getting other pugs in. We had a tonnn of priming and detonations so it worked surprisingly well- though I was still sloppy all the way through x.x Thanks for the major backup! 

 

He even stayed two games after that, so I guess he either took pity on me or was feeling charitable XD

Lancer

 

Starting to like that gun. It's not the most damaging thing ever, but it's powerful enough, and highly satisfying to use. Ended up 1st with 165k (Giant Hazard/Reapers), with the squadmates being a Batarian Vanguard, AIU-Reegar and....don't remember who else (that means he was unremarkable).

Had a game where this Volus adept was following me all around the map when I was heading for the devices to disable. Everytime I startet to disable he was right next to me and produced his protection bubble.

I'm not sure, how much damage this protection could have taken, but it was cute how the little volus cuddled up to my krogan vaguard, trying to safe us from all the evil out there.

 

And to fulfill the requirements of this thread:Of course I outscored everyone by blablamillion points...blabla...useless pugs...bla..TGIHarrier and Volus with Shuriken.

Lancer #2

 

Reactor/Reapers (AGAIN...randoms plz), with 3 very good players (no one scored less than 95k). 166k here.

 

Status changed for the Lancer from "starting to like" to "starting to REALLY like"

 

...besides, the damage difference between it and the Harrier isn't that big. 300 vs 470. I thought it would have had half the Harrier's damage, or even less.

I think it has been the first time I witnessed a ragequit in person. The guy was on the floor and I was reviving it, and just before finishing the revive, the guy dissapeared. I was like "lol ragequit"....and then I almost died myself

 

Apart from that, it was a tight but normal match (I really, really hate Cerberus...and Ghost Hazard). The rest of the team were a Novaguard/Hurricane (first Novaguard I saw in a long time..), and a Salarian Infiltrator/Collector Sniper Rifle. Ended up 110k - 139k - 154k (me). Tons of good players lately

Ah that was you, the TGI with Lancer X? I was the SI with CSR, quite fun set-up on gold - just me or was it more phantoms than normal in that game? They were everywhere! Game after was glacier hazard/reapers on platinum where a Valkyrie with Venom 10 did insane damage.

I haven't touched anything in the game options, I swear...they were all vanilla. But lately in all Cerberus missions I have there seems to be an awful amount of those...devilish cockroaches. Just now I was trying a TGI-Hurricane build (surprisingly good btw...Atlases went down like melted butter) on Glacier Hazard/Cerberus, and I swear that in every round there were a dozen or so D: Guess they've extra stock or something.

 

Ended up wiped out in Wave 10 with the second pizza just a single step from the LZ. As I said, I hate Cerberus

I felt like saying 'lolgeth' but I generally don't use my mic unless someone else speaks in the lobby. My music is more important  The others left the lobby after the game though.

 

Although, it got so confusing at some point that I started shooting at squadmates' turrets to no avail. I did it on wave 8, which was the funniest of all since that wave doesn't have any primes. lol

The match was marked with a tragic death: My beloved Turtle Beacch Earforce P11 headset finally stopped working, having been limited to a single ear for some time. This headset was glorious for hearing enemy movement through walls and really diminished the use I got out of the Geth Scanner. Without this wonderful friend, I wasn't able to tell my team to stop being braindead, and I was the only one doing the hacks and escorts.

The one word is twofold: One, laying an old comrade to rest. Second, my entire team (Juggernaut, Kroguard, Krolord) bled out every wave. Against Geth. On Silver. How is that mathematically possible?

My Krogan Adept alongside two Salarian Engineers with Widow/Black Widows and a Geth Juggernaut with a Black Widow and GPSMG. The Juggernaut disconnected and we got a Tech Armor-less Human Sentinel with an Incisor. Spamming throw like a maniac in a team full of snipers (not counting the Krogan) I almost broke 100k points (On Silver; Level 8 Adept only, was relevelling) with second place being under 25k, but then wave 10 happened: Objective activation against reapers. Don't ask me how or why but we all decided "I'll just blitz it and if I die, I die." We all died. I got the first objective and the second, and was grabbed on the 3rd. 3rd and 4th saw one grab death each. Finally all that was left was the Sentinel who did not last long. No one tried to save each other and it was one giant heroic sacrifice sequence, except with trolling because of throwspam + snipers. It was surprisingly fun.

I'm experimenting with a 4/6/6/6/4 build on the QFI and trying a slew of different weapons. My team had a Krolord on it, and I guess he was getting angry that I was always coming in first, since he seemed to be going out of his way to be a petty fool. He'd follow me around so closely that I couldn't aim, would charge ahead to finish anything I damaged, and would actually turn around when he had a prime in his face, re-adjust himself to come between the prime and my shots, and turn back around. He was absolutely pathetic in how petty he was being, and he never did beat my score (though he did come within 10k points once.)

For the record, my favorite weapons I tested this morning to use on her included the Wraith, so I'll likely use that with a shocktrooper package a LOT.

Reminds me about when my headset snapped in two in a match and I got busy piecing it together, swearing, cursing and occasionally laughing my ass off because one guy had a very situational GT. Best thing was that I recorded it all.

That sounds like something that would be frustrating at the time, but hilarious in hindsight, haha!

Revenge

 

I sat through a host migration and figured hell, it's free gear, I'll start U/U/G with a level 14 melee KroSent and see what happens.

 

It turned out to be Collectors/Hazard/NoButton.  3 pugs joined but they were totally worthless.  It was worse than a solo because they were messing up spawns and getting me into trouble trying to constantly revive them.  After the Wave 6 objective it was a wipe.

 

Back in the lobby, I deliberately set it to Gold/Collectors/Reactor(YesButton), and changed to a level 12 BatSol.  Although this resulted in full extraction, "Revenge" did not apply to the Collectors/Map combo; it applied to the pugs.  I shut them inside the reactor more times than I could count.
