You can, there's still server communication even during a solo, and massive respawns will also trigger lag. It can also be noticeable if you missile a spawn on a solo.

I'm always confused how high-score and BoTB people can sometimes be the worst of the worst....I just don't get it D:

 

I always assume they have edited the score somehow with an external tool or something...or that they're experimenting with odd combos.

Edited their score? This was on lolpeasetree. And experimenting with odd combos? This would be worst of it since he was the ACA.

The person with the crappy loadout was using the ACA, and because he was using heavier weapons(including the piercing mod)he was not going to have fun.

I was surprised too, especially since we have a 2.4ghz connection (and a 5.2 but the PS3 can't detect/use it apparently) with 56MB/s (though the PS3 system specs cap out at 11mb/s network speed from what I understand.) Literally the only thing that can cause that would be if my roommates were torrenting - and the massive Torrenter WAS home, so that's likely the case.

Was working on my engineer and sentinel relevels, so I took my QME into a random game. Two of them had mics. Not sure if they were girls or younger boys, but that's irrelevant. After that game, one of them announced they'd be playing their pink Krogan Warlord. I declared that meant I must play my purple shaman! Finally, the other one with a mic agreed to play a pink/purple Krogan Sentinel.

Match starts, and we all, without saying anything, formed a triangle and simultaneously started mashing the light melee.

I knew this meant one thing: It would be a fun match. I was not dissapointed.

Saber

 

Inspired by seeing Gladiatorum using the Saber TGI, I put the Saber on my TGI and landed in a GiP on Hydra (Collectors). The two already there were a Saber DAI and a Saber Juggernaut. Many Scions were shot in the faces.

Geth on Ghost. I completed Geth Mastery by over-cover grabbing a Rocket Trooper. It was satisfying.

That's the fun with the Saber; while other assault rifles depends a bit less on your ability (althought they still depends on it...I've seen very crappy Harrier users out there, believe me), the Saber really puts your aim to test, especially on PC. That's why I always switch to the Saber when I see another Saber user. Competition in that sense is just too fun to pass it.

Jumped into a silver lobby for some relaxing shootytime. I was the first to join. The second was a BotB who shall remain nameless with nearly 200,000 CP. The host who was playing a jug, saw our l33t CP scores and bumped it up to Glacier/reapers/platinum.

I figured, why the hell not, at least one other guy here should know what he's doing. As befitting the best silver player in the world, I duly put on my tryhard pants (AIU/Wraith with max consumables). The BotB didn't bother.

The game started, and immediately the BotB tried to missile glitch.  Only then did I realise he was playing a Destroyer with an Adas. Unfortunately for him, his missile glitching didn't work so now he was stuck with no missiles and no consumables. Naturally, he did terribly afterwards; even the jug outscored him, despite playing basically a tanking role. It all ended in tears when they bled out on wave 4, and then I followed suit since the final outcome was obvious.

Headshots


Played two games versus Collectors, and I was getting lots of headshots on those fat-heads. First game, I played the Bat Soldier with a Suppressor. Next game, I played as a Saber Quarian Marksman. The pugs were okay, and I had a lot of fun. Collectors can be so much fun, when you go for the head.

Cerberus/glacier/platinum, only took 17 minutes to finish the game with full extraction.

Geth/Dagger/Gold with 3 morons camping the LZ the entire game. One of them using the amazing combination geth engineer with a Spitfire 1 (he diden't do so good), extraction but it took way longer than it should have.

That sounds awful. Reminds me of a game I had on Dagger (Platinum). It also featured a badass Geth Engineer with a Spitfire. This ******* proceeded to take the pizza and casually stroll to the LZ. The package was on other side of the freakin' map, too. It was one of few times, I just had to use my mic to get a point across.

I'm not sure I'm following you. If he took the pizza and proceeded to take it to the designated point, what's the problem? That he did so casually? It's not like you can do it fast, unless you're on PC and I'm pretty sure most pugs don't even know of the fast pizza delivery trick there.

 

Honestly, I'm not trying to be facetious here, but I'm a little baffled by what you were trying to get across with this post of yours. If the guy actually did the objective... what's bad about it?

Thats still better than some of the ones that I've run into where they don't even go and get the pizza.
