[Marksmad is waving goodbye]

Fell into GiP Ghost/Geth/Gold and there was an ACA who did not revive anyone, did not use swarms, did not cast DS or DC, but ran around shooting with a Vindicator and dying a lot. My KroLord got crushed a lot, but I got to spectate the other player, StartBreak, who was a KroGuard with a BatGauntlet and simply charged and punched everything. Watching him charge and then nutpunch Primes was something I could have watched for hours, but we were stomped for good on W9. If the ACA had revived me occasionally, who knows?

Game mysteriously crashed, losing me time, credits and consumables for the second time today. Also has a performance hiccup around Wave 10 and 11; the worst times to have one.

Missile fails

 

I've played a couple of games today, for the first time after 3 weeks of playing nothing but Destiny.

Really fun games. I missed three missiles in a row during a target objectiv in one game though.

Had just a whole series of awful lobbies, awful games in a row.  Then had two reasonable pug games to end the evening.  Collectors white tuned out pretty good and then a 3 person reapers rio.

 

I pulled the ultimate 'DOH!' move in the rio game.  I entered with a Huntress who was around level 10 and did not realize that I had just built up cloak and dark channel and had no points in warp at all.  No ability to detonate my channels.  What a buffoon I was.  got a few combos with a female turian cabal but not many, the other guy was a techie.

I'm training a bit to the GS-flamer build to eventually attempt a plat solo, so, open the lobby, U/R/P and I got goddess..

 

did the first two waves then some player got in, died, someone got in, instant kill, someone got in, I missiled to avoid instant kill...

 

From that point on was really a bad game, one player (AH) was pretty decent but the other two where dying a bit too much...

 

folded at wave 10 escort.... (run out of gel...)

It's probably easier to solo (with enough patience) than run with bad randoms... though, having said that, I've only attempted Platinum solo 3 times I think, using the Cerberus Adept (someone put a challenge to do it on here ages ago) and the furthest I got was wave 6.

Sounds familiar. I've had a mission fail on Giant where I was the last man on wave 10 and I was taken down and dropped the last pizza about the width of an Asari combat boot from the EZ. And I had no gel left.

I don't know if there's anything more frustrating than this type of thing. How about this- one of the last times I tried another plat solo, I died/bled out (no gel) on Wave 10, as the 4th target (targets, worst objective ever) had their last bar of armor flashing. #*$&@*$# really?

Dropped into a game, Godess/ Rippas wave 11. 2 guys are dead. One is coming around the far left corner and hauls ass towards the LZ but steps in Ravager juice and face plants on the pavement. I take a look at the clock- 2 seconds left. Clock reaches zero, Lone Survivor extraction, +7500 credits. And I'm standing there like:

The modifier for the daily was fire damage.

 

So my brother used his exotic flame fusion rifle to promptly 1 clip the gatekeeper .. damn, how many times we gotta kill that dude????

 

That weapon is so OP, it blows anything i've ever seen in a shooter game out of the water .. you should see the hatemail he gets for using it in PvP

Dropped into a lobby occupied by N7_SPECTR3 and N7_5PECTR3.  Dunno if they're on BSN or not, but I've played with them before - always both together.  A 4th joined and we landed in Vancouver, but the enemy faction was blank; Cerberus showed up, but not a single dragoon for the entire match.  I'm guessing this was a modded "original Cerberus" or something?  Fairly smooth match.

My second wave 10 wipe in two days. Nobody survived the massive fuster cluck in the hack circle on the far end on firebase white.

To cheer myself up I chose my warlord, searched for geth gold and hammered some light bulb heads.

Fail

 

I got an invite and after a couple of games and 1 disconnect we rolled Glacier, Reapers, Gold. My mate and I duo'ed most of the game with one or two pugs dropping in and out.

 

I was the TSol with Saber, my mate was the Havoc with Typhoon. I used all my gels clutching a couple of waves so when wave 10 Devices rolled around, when I went down with only 3 done that was all she wrote.

 

I enjoyed it though, well except for the Banshees, the TSol Saber is a dynamite kit.

Stuck on a loading screen until I got the "You have been kicked from the game" message after 2 minutes of inactivity.

 

Quick Match and end up right back in the same game, that's now on wave 3 - Collectors/Ghost, NICE!

Dramatic

Playing a U/U/G Reapers on Hydra as my Asari Valkyrie and this lvl 20 Destroyer would squeal frantically when a banshee would start to approach him. It was funny at first until he would go down at least 5 times a wave. Me and this GE we're clutching the game with 140k a piece.

I joined Marksmad and Starscream for a game last night, for what ended up as reapers glacier hazard. The pug joined around wave 2 playing a classic melee juggernaut. He was ok- didn't go down much and had enough sense to actually shoot something once in a while so did a bit more damage than your typical puggernaut. He woudn't have stood out if he hadn't had his mic on...

 

Initially when he joined he sounded like he was talking to someone in his room, and had forgotten to mute. However, after a couple of minutes he said something like "these guys clearly don't play much". I had a bit of a lolwut moment as we were cruising through without any problems, and started  actually listening.

 

Turns out he was doing a live stream or video of some kind on how to use the juggernaut. Useful, I guess, if he had brand new players watching. Although I hope he edited it, as calling for help every time more than a couple of enemies looked in his direction would probably give the wrong impression.

third day of geth trooper (mostly solo) training. 

 

U/R/P got Rio... not my map. Did two wave by myself when a puggernaut joined and immediately run for the box of shame...

Well, he did not die much and was a good decoy for the banshee let me roam the map a kill the rest.

 

wave 5-6 a human adpt/avenger joined (was level n7-45): downed twice in LZ and he used the two medigel right then and there... great. He was smart enought to go near the PuggiJuggy and manage to stay alive (mostly)

 

wave 9 another PuggerJuggyDecoy joined and they both made a stand near LZ: I fried all the enemy while they where handshaking few enemy. The wave 10 hack at the EZ was a bit hectic but we completed and extracted (not the human thou...he got stomped/trashed./..)

That game was loads of fun - thanks for the invite BTW - and I stayed on for another with Starscream afterwards, but the pugs we got were very fragile.

 

I heard the mumbling but never managed to make out any of the words. So I guess that you and Starscrean need to L2P, right?     

 

The thought of pugs watching instructional video with me on it is somewhat hilarious - I hope it says "Do the opposite of what you see here."
