We tried a new volusdome concept with (from ?) Ex-Clusum. The idea was to follow each a pug and protect him with shield boost/bubble and helping him with mines.

Frist to loose his pug loose 

 

This was on gold, but we did not select pugs. On this first try one pug was clearly above the other (destroyer with maxxe d equipement and N7 + challenge far above mine). So we did nt carry up with the 1 vs 1. It was still quite fun, not to use weapon and watching them struggle .

 

But i think we have a nice concept, here, just need to keep starting new lobbies until U have 2 pugs wich look aprroximately in the same category !

When I joined your and ex-clusums lobby a couple of days ago I misunderstood the concept and was afraid, that I have to choose volus on platinum...

Anyway, good games afterwards.

So who won ? Did you get the 10 waves survived medal ?

I m not sure since we sticked with the "lower level" one. Ex-clusum couldn't help scoring better than him though . The other one was not up to his equipement/standing.

 

And no, we all died quite a few times IIRC

the other guy just camped near lz with his adas destroyer and nobody likes and adas destroyer so we swarmed the drell with shield boosts but spent most of the time meleeing geth primes and it got boring so i nuked all of wave 9. drell had a mantis that he shot like 5 times during the game and it was weird meh.

Ain't nothing more dandy for a Sniper than playing in Hazard Giant with a Vorcha and a Geth constantly using Flamer, oh yeah.

I joined a game in progress. Wave 2 was just wrapping up. Wave 3 was an escort. I was there first, and I groaned as I saw my team approaching. Three juggernauts. And they did not enter the circle, but rather hung back and tried to Siege Pulse anything that entered it besides me (conveniently ignoring all the marauders and STILL being unable to take the Banshees down fast enough because the escort was moving at the speed of 1 member inside, despite the party of 4.
When I inevitably got Banshee Grabbed, because there was nowhere to evade (can't run through allies and they were making a wall) they all stood around my corpse looking down as if shocked I was dead. One of the pugs turned on his mic to ask me why he couldn't revive me, I cannot stress this line enough! Extraction wave? They all camped the LZ, And this was on Ghost, for the record. Not the most defensible LZ, what with the enemy's high ground, your inadequeate cover, and the incredibly easy flanking they have on you.
It's a real shame; this was actually the first team of 3 juggernauts I've played with that didn't give me my 5 revives medal, much less my 15! It saddens me that the players actually capable of staying alive were just so... unaware of simple things like that!

That brought to my mind the somewhat tragic image of three hulking juggernauts crowded around the broken eviscerated organic desperately trying to work out how to put the bits back in.

"Providing medical aid" one of them sobs as it tries to work out which way up the liver goes.

Played a couple random games yesterday, dropped into an in progress Cerberus Ghost Gold.  Was Justicar w/ Saber.  Team might have been a little inexperienced, but we won, although I was the only one who extracted.  I stuck around for the next one, switched to PA w/ Talon though, and we got Dagger Hazard Collectors.  That one wasn't as smooth.  Although at one point I got picked up but killed and fell over the railing, and it was the first time I got to run around on the ground of Dagger, which was pretty funny.  We did finish that game though, although extraction was Lone Survivor for me again.

modded me3 multiplayer gold reaper on condor. wave five was a zombie wave, which was ok, but every wave after that had endless zombies too.

And then extraction came, and the wave 11 included two of every boss units: banshee, prime, atlas, praetorian. there's an endless stream of exploding abominations and ravagers.

if only there were a harvester in the background....

My friend was hosting but couldn't make it to.the game. Three juggernauts join GIP first wave; siege pulsing juggernauts! No melee. And As if they had an agreement, they clustered together annihilating Cerberus with turrets and siege pulses..was very effective. wish was against Geth..so they have a taste of their own cup

Two pugs.  Two Spectre packs.  And two Black Widow upgrades, bringing it up to an awesome IX.  Just typical though....I practically quit on ME3MP when my new computer arrived (No inbuilt Wireless internet...I only have wireless internet, and I can just imagine the lag from using a dongle), but now it's not working and I'm back on the old one, I'm getting all the blacklisted ultra-rare weapons I dreamed of owning.

Joined a wave 6 game with 3 dead people. Objective thankfully done. Was Giant/Gold, and I was a 6/6/6/5/3 Phoenix Adept, so I actually managed to escape my precarious starting position (husks in my face, marauders and ravagers with line of sight) without dying. We wiped on wave 7 due to "Yeah, I'm not gonna carry these guys."

Was a great game. I loved the bit at the end of W8 when that Collector Captain ran up towards the LZ to attack megawug and we were all standing in a circle. The gunfire was deafening, LOL!

 

Thanks to Aetika for getting megawug in and for the previous game we pugged (White/Geth) which was also a smooth run.

Not had any full-PuG games tonight, been in a games with someone off my friends list all evening, but I just wanted to say my new keyboard has arrived, huzzah, so things are back on track... I can even type at a half-way sensible speed again!

I wasn't rubberbanding (haven't experienced that since changing how frequently my side pings the host's side for updates)  but if it was set to default I'd have been experiencing some major slingshotting from one side of the map to the other. It sounds funny now, but it was fairly frustrating to be downed by an enemy I just emptied a clip into, using my crutchtrooper no less. Halfway through my game lost connection to the host, so I was saved from experiencing that pain further. Oddly enough, the match before that wasn't quite as bad, and the host was the same person - so I stuck with them (also considering since I only got downed once the previous match). Despite the lag, the game was overall, a fun experience. Probably helped by the couple of previous matches with a friend - Silver's a walk in the park compared to playing Platinum for the first time (and also after two month break from playing). By the way, thanks for the carry. The first time I died I actually forgot which button was medi-gel!I hope my trooper wasn't too much of a dead weight.

I started a public solo UUG. got hydra/cerbs. I didn't have a very good day so I got out my Kroguard and his trusty reegar. Wave 2 ended with me smiling. Snow_leopard joined (swear I have seen that name before) with a krogan. We headbutted like all krogan should, wave 3 start.....game lockup then CTD.
