A harrier TGI who knew to use it, 2 average people and Geth. Of course the rocket troopers seemed to target me exclusively, but by wave 10 everybody seemed to have found the sweet spot and we murdered everything and I had dodged at least 5 missiles.

My SI, plus a second SI, a Ghost, and a GI for Glacier/Geth/Gold.   I died a few more times than I am happy with, but still, it was a good match.

I haven't seen a fellow TGI-Harrier in ages. Having in mind how powerful that class is, you could say it'd be more used... D:

I don't see them very often either - it's a bit of an overkill on Gold, maybe that's why. And playing OP stuff over and over again is boring anyways.

I definitely don't understand you...not using stim packs, not using the Harrier....(Magazine Upgrade mod FTW, BTW...).

 

Next you'll tell me you play Platinum as a Hanar with boxing gloves :D

...I don't think it's much more OP than other builds, but oh well...

 

I've also seen extremely crappy TGI-Harriers out there, which means it also relies on skillz, like any other class.

You have to aim AND constantly run to ammo boxes? I'm way too lazy for the Harrier.

Valkyrie, Justicar, Drelldept, and Harrier TGI. The game was so confused from all the BEs that I SWEAR I aw it give the TGI credit for one, once!

We all broke 100k points. All 4 of us. On Gold. It was very close.

It almost doubles the clip size, just as the mod description says. It doesn't say anything about reserve ammo, so it's you the one who's seeing things the wrong way.

 

And if you can't manage something as trivial as your ammo, well, then keep your Lancer in that case :P Can't believe some people drops that amazing gun just for that reason.

The amount of total ammo is what people often complain about regarding the Harrier, not the clip size. It's what CrashSuit mentioned and you recommended the Magazine Mod (presumably as a remedy of sorts) even though it makes very little difference.

 

Also, when did I claim that I can't manage ammo in this game? I actually quite like the Harrier.

136 / 120 = 1.133333333333333333333

 

Hence the clip gives you 13% additional total ammo capacity

AR Mag doesn't add 80% to total ammo... Boy if it did it would be pretty OP... :o

Ok. I'll revise my original statement:

 

Somehow I don't think a 13% increase in total ammo is going to change anyone's opinion.......unless they're not too bright and don't really understand what the word 'total' means.

Ummm... I shouldn't bother, but it's really, really not 80% of the total ammo... You understand what we mean by 80% of total ammo?

 

 

136 / 120 = 1.133333333333333333333

 

Hence the clip gives you 13% additional total ammo capacity

I get it...it adds 13% to all ammo. But it's not all ammo what that mod affects, but the clip size. Thus that percentage is pretty stupid to bring it out to begin with.

 

It makes sense in Shotgun Magazine Upgrades, for example, which it does add spare ammo, but not in an Upgrade that merely ups clip size. It does what it says it does...if you don't get it, or prefer to see the glass half-empty, it's your problem.
