I've already said it:

 

Basic clip: 20

Extended clip: +16 (36)

 

80% of 20 = 16.

 

No more, no less.

It makes sense in Shotgun Magazine Upgrades, for example, which it does add spare ammo, but not in an Upgrade that merely ups clip size. It does what it says it does...if you don't get it, or prefer to see the glass half-empty, it's your problem.

 

The amount of total ammo is what people often complain about regarding the Harrier, not the clip size. It's what CrashSuit mentioned and you recommended the Magazine Mod (presumably as a remedy of sorts) even though it makes very little difference.

 

^ That's why I brought out that 13% figure. It wasn't pretty stupid. You advised using the Magazine Mod to counter the relatively low ammo of the Harrier - I pointed out that it made very little difference.

It IS a remedy....for it's small clip size. I never said, or meant to say anything about spare ammo. Basically because if you can't manage to have a minimum timing going to the ammo boxes, then...oh well... ¬¬U

 

I think complaining about spare ammo is just pretty absurd. I've extremely rarely had any issues with that. And in urgent situations, there's always the Thermal Clip Packs.

I'm not sure whether I'm alone in my opinion but I don't care for the Harrier. I never use mine, too little ammo.

 

I definitely don't understand you...not using stim packs, not using the Harrier....(Magazine Upgrade mod FTW, BTW...).

Sorry, I should've been more clear. I've always used the extended magazine on it, but it has too little reserve ammo for my tastes. I know other people usually make it work but I don't like it, it's too much of a trade off for me to be constantly tied to ammo boxes. I've hacked the sniper/shotgun spare ammo mods on it, and then it's okay, but there are other guns I'd rather use.

Edit: Batarians, Destroyer, Jug, Armored Compartments, etc. don't add enough spare ammo to the Harrier to make it worth it for me. Other people liking it is fine with me, I just didn't know whether I was alone in not liking it.

Famine

Played a condor match with my Harrier (why did I even bring that thing?) and was constantly wishing that it had MOAR spare ammo. Luckily I brought the suppressor for backup and only needed to hit ~ 1 ammo box since I headshot like a bauss.

EC V on the Harrier gives you some spare ammo, might have helped a bit on that Godforsaken turian moon

 

 

^ it's only 13% extra ammo, but who needs ammo when you can melee? For instance, the last match I was in nearly ended in a wipe after the Harrier pugs ran out of ammo and thermal clips, luckily I was there to smash the s*** out of things with Thor's hammer (KroWarlord FTW)

I just played a match with the Batarian Soldier using the Harrier, extended barrel and ammo capacity V. I never had to hit an ammo box. Or reload

Three pugs with no gear, whatever, I'm tired of looking for a lobby, I ready up. They're down all the time but trying, I'm doing lots of cleanup, wave four or five they're all stomped because I'm the Jug and can't get to them in time. I'm kiting and cleaning up pretty well, down to one mostly-dead banshee.
