This TGI(Black Widow!) was following my Asari Adept everywhere and proceeded to overload - maybe according to a 'useful tip' - all my primed targets. Usually I don't care, take another route, search another spawn, even cast throw 2x to get Tech Burst and BioBoom. But suddenly a fück was given, an asari was crabgrabbed and a game was ragequited.

Save the Volus

 

A Dagger/Geth match turned out to be a sniper's competition to see who was the one that killed most Geth that were surrounding and constantly killing a Volus Vanguard.

 

...well, it was a funny change of pace from the usual missions anyway

Played so many platinum games this weekend I'm hearing banshee screams every time I close my eyes (need to find some more option for how to spend my free time) Ended with 3 straight TGI games, last one with the Harrier just for the hell of it, things just melt left and right. But not a single UR card all day, trolled bad by the RNG store again.

Met a pug that used Armored Compartments on Gold, because he was trying to speed up the waves and get pointzzzzz. I know it's good to speed up the waves, but please, you're on gold. We went through all 11 Waves and you didn't get past my score so stop trying if you are.

All volus gold match

 

started as a Pug, but everyone had mikes so we played unknown/gold/reapers with all volus

 

my protector got synched by a sneaky banshee on wave 8

 

and the sentinel got Brute grabbed on extraction

 

fun...but two all volus gold runs is enough for one lifetime

Just basically playing around with all the kits I barely use, and don't know how to play in Gold. It's kind of fun hitting a group of mooks with cryo blast, taking a leisurely moment, and then setting it off with incinerate for a nice big boom.

 

Hit them with Cryo Blast in Gold and some guy with a Javelin will fire from across the map, decapitating all of them with a single shot. I hate those guys.

Repairs!

 

Ark and I picked up two pugs for some Platinum action.  We got Giant/Geth.  Man, what a bad game!

 

Wave 1 Arks batteries die almost immediately, and so does he.  As he was scrambling for replacements, both pugs went down and got stomped.  JRand joined our party, so I took my time clutching Wave 1 to give the pugs time to ragequit.  Unfortunately, neither one did.

 

Wave 2:  3 Primes, 2 pugs.  Wave went about how you would expect.

 

Wave 3:  My internet decided to be a douche for 5 seconds.  Had to reboot and rejoin.  Ark carried Waves 3 4 and 5.

 

I got back in just in time for Wave 6.  I switched from Cryo Soldier, to a more Geth Asplody kit, the Quarian Male Infiltrator.  As I scrounged around for grenades, I started taking notice of the pugs.  One was an AIU, who I remembered from the lobby as having Grenade Capacity V.  The curious thing about this pug, was that he was not only a leecher, but a nuisance as well.

 

Between each Wave, he would make a run to all the ammo boxes and fill up all of his Repair Matrices (7 or 8).  Then when each Wave started, he would go facetank Primes, use up every single one of his RMs, then bleed out/get stomped.  Why bother wasting RM/Grenades if he intended to leech?  Was it to make it look like he was trying to contribute?  With 44k score at the end of the game, it was obvious that he wasn't contributing anything.

 

Back in the lobby, he got vote kicked.  Then he sent me this message:

...which was directed at me. joined a lobby preset to glacier with only the host who was low level and all that good stuff. i figured whatever and we just go for it. wave 1 starts and i start attacking enemies and HOLY CRAP REALLY BAD LAG!! i mean this was like 3 seconds until stuff works kinda bad. i go down from something that i didn't see, my powers aren't working so i bail. about 15 minutes later i get a message from the host and calls me an 'a$$hole'. i lol'd and just ignored it. it's been a long while since i got hate mail.

I finally saw it, a person--the host with the PSN name UltimateNinja something something--launching a Missile Launcher only to kill a Swarmer.

 

Of course, I heartily chuckled at it.

 

And then he immediately left. And then he sent me a message saying "So you're the one idiot laughing" bla bla bla. I was quite amused actually. And then I told him "Well, you gotta admit using a Missile only to kill a Swarmer was quite funny," and then he said "I am aiming at you idiot" despite IIRC i was at one end and he's at another at the time (this in Rio) but okay... and then he proceeded to lecture me about the ethics of mic-using during matches using colorful words like "lame" or "idiots", etc etc.

 

It was one of most amusing experiences I've ever had.

A Jug went down to a Praymaxian, so I killed it and went in for a revive with my Geth Engineer. Well I thought I'd killed it, except I'd accidentally left it with one bar left. It picks me up, but mid-sync my turrant finished it off and I dropped safely to my feet.

fortunately only one target was left and they got to watch me kill Guardians with the Venom

 

oh yeah and I was the only one that seemed to care about extracting

 

everyone was up but I was "lone survivor"
