Warning: Incoming Ranyrant! I'm not even kidding. This is rage filled. If it wasn't 10:30 PM I'd record an audio rant with screaming and everything. But, roommates and such. Let's just say that this game combined -ALL- the little things that ****** me off in ME3 MP. ALL of them. (Minus people with shitty music blasting through their mics.) Every gripe combined into one singular game. Not even exaggerating. All the frustration I feel over one MONTH was made real in one GAME.

 

If anyone involved was a BSNer, I apologize for my comments. It's possible I was being trolled as a kind of hazing, in which case I can laugh this off. But I actually doubt it. Just... no hard feelings if I come across as offensive. I apologize in advance if any of you are hurt by my words. This is meant to vent, not condemn or admonish.

It was the worst kind of game. Mentlaly deficient idiots who are JUST good enough to not bleed out! At every single turn, players were actively sabotaging one another, leading to a gigantic fustercluck of utter futtbuckery. I'd have rather solo'd that game twice than finish it once with this team. But finish we did, since I needed the credits to replace my rage gels!

Vancouver/Collectors/Gold. ON PS3. If you're not a PS3 player, you cannot comprehend just how utterly terrible this is. The collectors are a steaming pile of goddamn fail, and apparently it's just on the PS3 version because I keep seeing the PC players praise them as the best faction. I don't know if you guys are being serious or joking, but every time I see people say things like "The collectors are perfect" while calling every other faction out on BS, I rage and seriously storm out of my room to stare in the bathroom mirror and scratch at my scalp until I feel blood, because Bioware did not test these abominations on PS3 and they are an ungodly pox upon the MP experience and DAMN. They seriously crash my entire console in at least 1/3 games against them. This does not happen against any other faction. Coincidence? Also, absurd memory leak issues. Playing one game against collectors starts a ticking time bomb until I need to restart my PS3 because I'm getting 1 frame per 3 seconds. I can play against other factions all day, no problem. One game against collectors sets this crap off. Completely inexcusable. Legitimate "Bioware, Please" here. "PLEASE FIX THIS CRAP!"

 

So what do we have? Some Volus who was trying to help but was weighed down too much with two weapons. IIRC a Mattock and some fairly heavy shotgun. A krogan shaman who, against all odds, managed to die more than anyone else (see below as to why this is shocking.) And a SPITFIRE JUGGERNAUT WHO NEVER FIRED THAT GUN, SIEGE PULSE FOR DAYS! The team was SO bad, that goddamn juggernaut came in SECOND PLACE. Listen, I get not everyone will play the same way, but if you're using a gun THAT heavy, DON'T PUT THE EMPHASIS ON YOUR GODDAMN POWERS! BRAIN CELLS, MORON, GET SOME! IS IT SO GODDAMN HARD!? IS IT!? YES, APPARENTLY IT IS! WHAT THE HELL!?

Also. Think about it. A siege pulse spammer with a SPITFIRE I came in SECOND. This means that, at the absolute best (If he took rank 5 recharge) He was getting 3-4 shots per 17 seconds. Otherwise, per 24 seconds. THIS CAME IN -SECOND- AND MOST OF THOSE PULSES WERE WASTED ON AIRBORNE PRAETORIANS! I'm NOT exaggerating when I say this game was a nightmare that would not end. It was a LONG game.
 

So why was it a surprise the Krogan died the most? I was testing my Weapons Platform Vorcha. And the Krogan/Juggernaut were making it their life goal to killsteal me. Normally, I don't give two craps. So long as things die. BUT GOD DAMN IT, BLOODLUST! I was almost never at max bloodlust because of these two literally stalking me.

 

Also, I was the host, and the LOLCOLLECTORS bull was SO bad that grenades were almost never respawning despite me being the only Grenade user. Also, my grenade counts were decreasing despite my grenades not actually working. I used all 6 of my thermal clip packs on grenades alone. I maybe got 6 throws to work out of over 30 total attempts.

Oh. And the Krogan sent me a friend request after.

Had a really messy and long game with some noobs on Rio, Reapers, Gold.

 

One guy must've just unlocked the Havoc, because he kept trying to Havoc Strike everything. Actually that was the highlight of the game. Watching him getting synced nearly every wave, especially by that Brute.  

 

The Brute was all "come at me bro', jet-boots and all!"

Was using the Graal, and it seemed like every time I moved I went over a bump that made it go off unintentionally.

It has come to my attention that I drank 4L of Coca Cola yesterday, so I MAY have been on a sugar high when I posted that. Jumping the gun and mashing away at my keyboard and getting carried away. For example, not -EVERY- thing that pisses me off was present; we didn't have sniper vanguards, Slayers/Shadows spamming slashes while surrounded, and I didn't get my 15 revives medal on wave 1 from the juggernaut. Honestly, I'm not even angry, just very very hyperactive and mildly irritated, which is making me all "RAWR ILLEGITIMATE RAGE!"

Never could figure out why someone wouldn't be able to hold their finger on a trigger while stepping off of a ledge. Especially a Krogan. Seems to me a charged weapon should basically be afraid to do anything without a Krogan's direct permission.

I think you meant to say "Biovar, pls". But seriously, this is why I don't play collectors or hazard maps anymore. I'm on my 2nd ps3, I've played the **** out of this game, and I have ZERO tolerance for that memory leak restart-your-box-every-other-game bullshit.

Nostalgic,

Haven't played the Asari Adept for a very long time, it was my first gold character using the Eagle I, this time Paladin IX and with quite a bit more experience compared to those days. Hazard glacier/collectors/gold with a great justicar made it a good game.

Just me as a Krosol and the host as a Krosent.

 

Things got off to a great start, we got through wave 1 in no time thanks to Inferno Grenades and Fire Explosions but the host rage quit when he was surrounded and downed at the start of wave 2.

 

Got the wave 3 devices done with little difficulty and as I was mopping up the last of the enemies, the Krosent dropped back in, got downed instantly and disappeared again before I could revive him!

 

I did waves 4 and 5 on my own and the Krosent dropped in again at the start of wave 6, this time he decided to stay. He tried to help me kill the targets but the Primes and Pyros got him.

 

The rest of the match was like this, he kept running into spawns and got downed before he could do anything, I picked him up when I could and off he went to find another spawn to be killed by. On wave 10 we got targets again, the Krosent -who had evidently learned his lesson- backed off and left me to deal with them while he picked off anything trying to flank us.

 

Extraction was a mess, I went as far away from the LZ as I could so the place wouldn't be swamped but the Krosent ran all over the map getting blasted from every direction and got stomped by a Pyro before I could get to him, I had to use my last 2 missiles to extract because enemies were everywhere.

 

Amazingly, this disaster of a match only took 26 minutes.

Your rant was entertaining and not half as bad as your intro made it seem. Perhaps a 6/10 on the rage meter.
