Haha, no, just the regular kinds this time. I've never really gotten a good feel for how to use them, but I did okay tonight.

Had three pugs join different games over the weekend with mics which was great and rare....until they started talking.  Things I learned:

 

- Using the annihilation field with the Fury is pointless because you should be running her with a sniper and staying back because she's too squishy

- In response to the above, I played the Fury like you're supposed to and was still told I was doing it completely wrong and "you're gonna ****** off the whole team by not carrying your weight"

- If this multiplayer was PvP there's no way you're taking down a juggernaut - too OP

- No one has ever taken down a Geth Prime by themselves, it's simply not possible

- Being able to score well, regardless of the map or enemy doesn't mean you're good at this game

- If you chug water over the course of a 30 minute conversation, you're going to immediately throw it up before going to bed*

 

*only this one is true.

Routine/Venatori. We're all standing. Commander and one mook left. Commander dies, taking 3 of us down with her. The last guy standing gets killed by the mook intead of reviving us. All three of us were laughing at him. Legionaire who doesn't use the Guard system at all.

some of these things sound like the things the butthurt dudes i played with a while back would say......which reminds me!

 

butthurt (part 2)

 

those two guys whose lobby i kept rejoining to tick them off i ran into again in a game in progress about a week or two ago. i took my asari vanguard with the wraith and the game was reapers/london. i just start doing my thing and killing enemies and spamming lift grenade. both guys had their mics on and were clearly not happy with me being there. at one point after wave 10 was complete i found a group of swarmers and decided to missile them. then one of the butthurt guys said over the mic "really pat? ugh." i lol'd and starting throwing grenades all over the place for lulz. after the game was over i got top score and the other butthurt guys says something along the lines "what!? how did patpat beat me? i had the harrier x!" so i ready up for the next game and they say to each other, "you know what dude, i don't feeling like dealing with this. let's start a new lobby." and the host left. 

 

i love my assguard!

RRRRRRAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!

 

Landed in a lobby as a Krogan Sentinel and found a Krogan Soldier sporting the same alt Dog of War banner.

 

Ain't nothing better than strangers headbutting the crap out of each other between waves.  

 

It even made getting Rio fun, though I have to confess I almost ran into a Banshee and ended up taking her down from inside the box of shame - possibly only the second time I've ever done that.  In typical PS3 fashion I got stuck on wfop, but friend requests were exchanged.

It was actually few days ago, I was puggin' with some BSNers (sry I can't remember the names), they were apparently running some mod so the orgainics became hackable, I was busy watching Banshees hugging Captains and Phantoms stabbing each other, until I got sync killed by a sneaky Phantom.

Gg, 10/10 would watch it again.

99.9% of the time, I'd agree.

This guy was a legionaire with full health, though. He died against a single mook who was blocking, since all he did was mash his attack.

 

Literally anything he could have done would have been more efficient than blindly attacking a block without doing anything else.

 

Kinda think he was trolling, honestly, so I laughed out loud on the mic to show him "nah, not bothered, man. You suck, though."

Why do Pugs vote to kick me everytime I ready up with a Spitfire Drell Assassin? Is that really too cool, or what? Y no Spitfire?!? TheNightSlasher even did a Plat solo, using this combination, and I have solo'd Gold with it. L2P, Pugs! Or at least, allow me to show it to you.

ME3: Wipe

I hopped on ever so briefly. Dropped into a GIP (Reapers/ Dagger/ Gold) as last man standing, surrounded by Marauders. "Screw it, not using my consumables." It was wave 2. I had no opportunity to get the hell out of there, because they were opening fire as I spawned. I decided it was an ill omen for ME3MP for the day, and went back to DAI.

DAI: Glitched

Elven Ruins/ Threatening/ Red Templars. As a joke, we decided to see if 2 level 1s, a level 6 (Me) and a a level 11 could do Threatening. We damn near managed it! I aggro'd and kited the commander around while the other 3 dealt with all the mooks. They rejoined me to fight the commander, he goes down and... we glitched out. The match didn't end. Ouch.

I dropped into a lobby with two Juggy's and a Krogan Warlord, i came in initially as the phoenix vanguard, but the warlord asked me to change to a krogan...i told the guy i'm completely garbage with Krogan kits, but i switched to join in with the headbutting anyway. He stated to just "follow my lead"...ooookay. 

 

So anyway it was Reaper/gold/glacier...simple enough. i switched to a krogan vaguard and while i did ok with him...that warlord was trying to melee everything...he was doing ok and i really didn't follow him, but i knew it wasn't going to end well when he kept constantly meleeing every banshee that came into sight. That guy was dying multiple times, and you wanted me to follow you into the cold grips of death by that banshee?...XD..no thanks.

 

I ended up playing better than that guy and survived waay more waves...he was playing a bit recklessly..maybe he was trying to show me the ropes, but eh, i just kept my distance and played the game the best way i could as far as playing with a krogan was concerned. The two juggy's held their own and was decent players, but that warlord?..idk...maybe he was just trying too hard. We ended up making it to extraction tho...he left the lobby afterwards...

Geth.

Hydra/Gold/Geth for a U/U/G. Our team was also composed of geths : Javelin GI (me), GPR Geth Engi and GPS Geth soldier. It would have been the most geth game I'v played if the 4th PUG wasn't an AIU.

I just did a gold solo (vancouver/trollectors), not plat.

I opened a UUG lobby to public but since no one was joining, I started on my own with my lackluster cabal vanguard with BPP. Rolled a reactor hazard vs cerberus and was soon joined by a TGI (harrier), a TSol (harrier) and later another TGI (reegar). I sent them all an 'awesome! all-turian team!' over the console and I think they liked it, because it was one of the smoothest, most cooperative pugs in recent memory. The TSol spent all his missiles on wave 11 and came out on top, but it was a near thing. More games like that, and I might eventually start liking the cabal. Maybe.
