In my defence I was away visiting family over Chrimbo; it's tricky to play anything when you're at least 120 miles away from your PC!

Ugh! (rhymes with pug) Giant, gold, reapers, wave 10, devices. Teammates start bleeding out. Rush to the aid of one but he gets stomped as I arrive. Screw it! Off to the last device. As I'm doing it, last remaining teammate goes down. Shift into lone wolf mode. Running from banshees and systematically taking out marauders. Rocket one banshee. Down to one banshee and one marauder. On the ramp in the back corner room with last banshee at 2 bars health standing there. Thinking I will just stand here and finish her off and receive accolades from my team for a great carry. All of a sudden, she teleports and grabs me. What?!! As her fingernails pierce my guts, I can hear my teammates on the mikes...UGH!
(just hate it when I'm stupid)

Forgot to put Grenade Gear on Drell Adept. Matches with 2 grenades are lot more strategic
Still did okay.
On another match my teammates decided that it's okay to let the Engineers live and set up turrets everywhere, they were much preocupied sniping Nemesesis (Nemesi?) and got mowed down.
Ended the night with an infiltrator party on Rio/Cerberus/Platinum 1 AIU, 2 TGIs and myself as SI - very fast and easy - but then again we were 4 infiltrators....
Bloody fast.
Had a quick silver on PC and I'm certain I've played with ExtremePandaWill before. Good fun.

huh?
was playing some silver matches with my brother today. after a few games he left but i continued to play and waited for my lobby to fill up. then a juggy with an n7 300 something with 800 challenge points joined in but then i looked at his load out. he had a geth spitfire X.
something didn't add up and i assume this person either got carried in tons of platinum games or cheated to get max gear. it's whatever. started the match and the juggy simply wasn't doing well but then their inexperience really showed when disabling devices came up as they started doing them when other teammates were already working on them.
just an observation.
Disappointing.
Joined a Glacier/Reapers/Silver GIP, checked to see if we had one or two people scoring higher than the rest. Turns out the one guy doing all the work was a GI using a suppressor for continuous cloaked headshots. Kinda sucked all the fun out with him whizzing around
The other 2 guys (Krogan Shaman and N7 Paladin) were....yeah....I think I got 15 revives, I'll put it that way.
Anyone else get a little disappointed when someone is running round with an 'OP' build, not really engaging with the team? Makes me feel like I'm playing with bots sometimes ![]()
A noob's first steps into ME3MP
After a few tries to join a somewhat "normal" silver game and failing, I just accepted the fact, that getting kicked immediately when entering a silver lobby with 35 N7 points was just another way to say hello to a newcomer (trololo, of course that's not true). The match started nevertheless and the high CP/N7 host was obviously in a bad mood, telling me what to do and what not to do and that he wanted me gone. He was acting like a true d-bag, (some tips were decent though), but in his "no newbie in my lobby rage!" he somehow forgot about Mr.sneaky Crab behing him. A shame I did not have my mic. (Or, did I?
)
His reaction to the Crab catching him consisted mainly of yelling for a rocket and calling us all useless noobs. No rocket came to save him and so our dear host became Crab lunch. Well, long story short: we survived quite well without him, I would even say that I was quite usefull and in the end I managed to come out second after another pug. The host couldn't handle being outscored and left shortly afterwards.
Well, I guess that means I'm doing something right, no? ![]()

On my alternate account I leveled up my Hurricane to VIII just from the gift packs for new players, he might have just gotten lucky as ****.

really? huh, i didn't think something like that would be possible. of course i have no idea what starting a new account would be like now. exactly how many gift packs do new players get? must be a butt ton i assume ![]()

The same amount of what the weekend challenges gave out, plus there are like 3 more bonus gift for newcomers, so yeah pretty much a shitton, enough to level two URs two X, if you're super awesome lucky.
Puglocked.
My Justicar went to Reactor Hazard to fight Rippas with a GT, another Justicar, and an AIU. Wave 1 & 2 were easy. Wave 3 was pizza. I blocked the reactor door with my bubble and the first pizza came through, no problem. But a Cannibal and a Brute were following, so reaved and I darted forward to hit them with the bubble. The AIU hit the button and I was fried. When the door opened, the AIU revived me just inside the reactor, straight into being synced by the Brute (which didn't die, of course). While this happened, the AIU was synced by the Banshee that sneaked up from the LZ, and the GT was insta-stomped by a Marauder. The other Justicar got to the second pizza, was stalked by a Brute and Cannibal combo as well, pulled a the Cobra Launcher but was taken down by the Cannibal. She was ready to spend a missile but not a gel, so she bled out with the second pizza next to her ten metres from the drop zone. Mission Fail. And worst game of the week so far. I did send the AIU a congratulatory message on her almost perfect teamkill ![]()
Tense.....
Nothing really special here, but towards the end of the game at extraction, Reaper/gold/Reactor...near the opening of the reactor near the extraction zone. A teammate was kiting a banshee when she warped right in front of him and snatched him up...i was the phoenix vanguard and i was going to charge her to see if she would drop him, but i didn't want to take a chance on her NOT dropping him, so i whipped out the rocket at the very last minute...when i fired she was a millisecond from slamming her hand through his chest...i saved him with 15 seconds to spare and we made it to the EZ.
It was still crazy though...it seems like in the final seconds the game tries it's hardest to kill somebody before time runs out...we got up to the EZ and we both hadto roll around because there was a ravager in that far off hallway to right firing off shots and hitting everybody with incredible precision....we all made it, but i was in the red from taking those shots from that ravager in the final seconds...
My main point was that i like saving teammates in those scenarios where they are about to be synced and you can come in and save them...you can almost hear them say..."shheeeit....thanks man!!..".... ![]()

So I drop into a gold lobby with my valkyrie, who I just deployed yesterday and am still trying to learn (progress report: she kills stuff really well, but dies a lot too). Based on CP/weapons/gear the lobby has one veteran and two noobs, and I mean it-looks-like-they-just-got-the-game-for-Christmas noobs. I'm about to leave when I notice that the noobs are actually equipping consumables! Level 1 stuff, sure, but when you're just starting out every consumable is precious, so it was encouraging to see. Against my better judgement I decide to stick around; but since I'm anticipating carrying or duo-ing I switch from the valkyrie to the TGI carrier. Everyone's fully equipped, we all ready up, and RNG gives us...
Glacier/Collectors.
It was truly a duo. The noobs were trying, but without much success and were dying fast and frequently. We got devices on wave 3 and I got insta-stomped by a captain after the first device, but the other veteran (playing a havoc) managed to solo the rest, just barely. Wave 6 we complete the objective but everyone else dies, it's the havoc's turn to be insta-stomped, and I manage to get myself sandwiched in the basement between two praetorians and can't pull out a missile in time thanks to their melee staggerlock. Mission failed.
The noobs clearly were not prepared - one of them finished with under 10k points! - but apparently neither was I.
Troll-lol
Ended up with Reapers/Reactor Hazard with a group of PUGs, and we got two center hacks. Do I really need to say any more?

I like these stories much more than the ones that go "I scored 200k but the pugs were useless and it was easy for me the end". I like stories about pugs trying their hardest, about equipping gear, and about tough games. Doesn't matter if the mission fails because everyone gave their best to the stuggle, which is kinda the point of the game.
Jade/Collectors/Gold, promoting a bit to increase my n7 epeen, this time the engineering class - human engineer with the Eagle works quite well on gold.
The following AP gives me both Wraith and Venom VIII, not bad!
