Pug into some gold, thought 'aight'. Then they change it to plat. 'Well, they're all CP>50k and one of them in over 100k so they're probably good'.
W1, one of them drops 4 times, is otherwise OK.
w2. Host drops after getting synced (the 100k+ guy)
w3-w10 Me carrying the one guy who made it through. Trying my best I even revive commanded thrice when he was not paying attention to what was going on and I couldn't get to him. Eventually cain'd w10 and let myself bleed.
Geth
Dropped into a game in progress. It was on Goddess against Geth. It was just me and the host till two others joined later. I was playing the Justicar. There was just enough lag to turn it into a nightmare game.
I had to clutch waves seven and eight and when everyone went down again on wave nine I couldn't be bothered to continue this god awful game so when I went down I just bled out.

Puggernaut 2.0!
Vancouver/Cerberus/Platinum - myself as SI, as Carrier TGI and 2 Puggernauts.
I must admit that I have never seen anyone play the Juggernaut like an Adept before, he must have died 20 times that game and he turns around and run away as soon as a Banshee comes close, at one point this get's me sync killed in a corner as I'm standing behind the mighty Puggernaut I'm thinking that he will do what all good Puggernauts do just Heavy melee it and I'll take it out with my BW - but oh no he runs away!
"Enemy is down to one"! and a lone Banshee approaches - the Mighty jugg runs away from it.
Partial extraction, he's dead of course. Pugs will be pugs......
And yeah, the competent Puggernaut outscores the Carrier TGI....

On topic: Surprising. I actually 3 (realistically it was 2 because of a leeching Smashbro) manned a game with some pugs in just over 20 minutes after a friend dropped thanks to EAplz problems. Good job to the sniper Salarian who teamed up with my Raider Quarks. Many geth were deactivated efficiently. Shame I was the only one who could make it past the staggershit spam to extract, but you are not forgotten
Decided on a quick game before bed, got Giant/Gold/Cerberus.

Taking notes or being used?...
I dropped into this lobby with a very low N7(the host) and the guy had it set to U/U/G, and there was me (phoenix vanguard) and two other vets on the squad...we played quite a few games with this low n7, but he equipped with what ever he had, even if it was level 1 equipment. He went down alot, but i could see that he was trying hard and a few times i thought he was going to quit, but even as he bled out on certain waves (sometimes we just couldn't get to him in time) he would patiently wait for the rest of us to clean up the mess.
I think part of it was that this guy had a good connection, so he got a ton of creds from us while we used him for his great connection...sheeeit...good conncetions are hard to come by and even if the guy is a low n7 looking for some easy creds, i will sacrifice if the guy has stellar connection...well that and at this point i really don't mind helping rookies gain creds... 
SCRUBS!
Played an U/U/G match with three suspect-looking PUGs and immediately regretted it. Got Hydra/Geth. Two of them wanted to hold the LZ for the whole match. Against Geth. On Hydra. Needless to say, they didn't last long once the Primes started showing up. The other guy was at least smart enough to try holding the control room instead. but he wasn't so good at dodging, as I had to revive him at least 6-7 times in a single wave. I ended up having to finish several waves solo, and had to do one entire wave pretty much solo (either 8 or 9, whichever one has 2 Pyros, 2 Bombers, and 2 Primes). Soloing Hydra with a dodgeless Batarian when there are two Primes roaming about is not fun. When I got it down to only the 2 Primes, I could have taken them both out with a single missile, but at that point, I felt that if they weren't going to use gels, they were going to have to watch me take down 2 Primes the slow way. We ended up extracting, so yay?
Education.
Last night I was having trouble finding gold lobbies, so I searched for platinum instead. Quickly landed in a lobby with two chatty, high-CP players with max-level UR weapons, and a third player who soon leaves. We three ready up for a trio but are almost immediately joined by a player with about 100 CP, equipped with an Avenger I and an (unmodded) Katana I. The new guy puts consumables on (!), the other two seem content to carry, so we all end up fighting Geth on Giant.
It's no surprise that the new guy is dying constantly. What was surprising was that around wave 5 or 6 he turns on his mic and says, "Um, I seem to be dying a lot. Any ideas on how I can make myself useful?" So for the rest of the match we give him some tips and advice, which he seemed to be trying to put into practice. I don't think he extracted, but his spirit will live on, giving hope to future PUGs.

Avoiding Collectors is encouraged, and aiming actually works. The glory of being able to use guns and actually have them hit targets!
...And then I got London, and remembered what an unplayable mess that map is on PS3.

Both of the former used hax in the form of Adrian Newey, so if anything you were just getting even. The latter had both a hax damper and is also a confirmed cheater in later seasons, anyway

Pugged 2 Golds
First one was pre set to White / Cerberus. We started 2 player, when we loaded in there was a 3rd, a Destroyer w a Striker who immediately started firing off all his missiles, I started shooting him in the face .. thankefully he failed to get it to activate, got dropped and left .. Early on it was a little rocky on my wireless connection as I was downloading a game on PC. The second half went much smoother once enemies weren't teleporting. Full extraction
Second was a UUG, got HGhost / Reaper .. while I don't like Ghost, I do like playing the Reapers with my Valkryie .. the Reapers got stomped on. Full extraction
As a side note, for a 1 line piece of humor I posted on the DAMP board, I got my first warning point!! Why BoiwareMod2, why have you forsaken me?!? My first time and I wasn't even given any flowers ):
Krogan...
Dropped into a lobby with A juggy, a Krogan Warlord and a Female Quarian Engineer. It was U/U/G, but we got Reapers/Goddess. Everything was going well, but this krogan Warlord kept meleeing Banshees....I saved him with a rocket right before a Banshee was about to wax him, and shortly afterwards another banshee shows up and he walks right up to her and starts meleeing her. He got snatched up again, but i wasn't wasting a missle on that a$$ this time...and throughout the game he was dying all over the place because he was trying to melee EVERYTHING....we extracted, but that Krogan was just bad.
My second game....dissappointing..
I dropped into a heated hazard ghost/gold/Reaper match...i mean as soon as i loaded up i was getting hit by enemy fire and the teammates (destroyer, human engineer, and a turian something) was scattered all over the map...it was pretty tough because it didn't seem like this team was jelling together well. for me tho this was one of those games where i came in and cleaned house and played pretty well.....i think this was due mainly because the host had a good connection..even with the hazard effects. So we crashed and burned all the way to extraction, with 30 seconds left and then it happened.....the game froze..On REAPERS!... 
......i knew it was too good to be true....

Promoting the engineer class again, the QME with nade gear and talon is a lot of fun to play even though arc nades are a bit to OP on gold.
Tried QMI on platinum vs collectors last night, quite good but more of a challange as there are less nades in the ammo boxes and no large mook spawns to wreck.
Will give QME a try on platinum once I get him up to 20 again.

Almost overrun on wave 10 hack, by the end I have already spent my missiles (wave 6 was targets) but we manage.
By wave 11 one imbecile starts to nuke everything with his 6 saved missiles - he ends very low on score anyway.
Ugh.
