OH and YES. There is always a dragoon behind you!
Don't we all! And there is usually 2 dragoons behind me (and at least 1 phantom with a very sharp blade). ![]()

There is _always_ a Dragoon behind me.
Or a pyro. Or both.
On-topic: Bludgeoned
My Fury kept misjudging the scions' reach, and got sync'd by them three times in a single match. Which, I believe, makes a grand total of four sync-kills by a scion in my entire ME3MP career.

How about 1000 words?
Back to topic. I show you whats OP:
This Batarian Brawler is not going to dirty his hands with blood - he uses his gauntlet. Like a (BotB)Gentleman.
So he moved up to Gold. There seems to be a pattern...
If only the Batarian Gauntlet gave multiplicative bonuses while on Batarian characters....oh, now that would be awesome.
Last pug? Meh. I was playing the TSol with the Talon, alongside a rage-gelling, constantly dying TSent, a constantly dying, power build Krosent, and a very good at staying alive but terrible in terms of dealing damage Volus Adept. It was...not a relaxing game.
La a a aag
(please note the rubberbanding a's)
Started a BatSol Duo with a Pug on Jade, which turned out to be collectaz. The connection was not that great, but manageable. In wave 4 or 5 a KroLord and a Fury joined. From there on the lag was massive. It's hard to hit the collector captains head with a claymore, when he's jumping left and right. The praetorian is in front of me - no, behind me - no, he is chewing my head now. Best opportunity to complain about lag via on-screen text message ![]()
In the end we spectated the Worlard a couple of minutes kiting the last standing two scions to finish them of with a single missile. He saved W10, but sadly died on extraction. Worlard can't hide in cover to avoid scion BS across the map.
On the bright side: I blew up 1 or 2 a-bombs on my teammates ... due to lag, of course. DOT from Ballistic Blades/Inferno Nades can be tricky here.
Wipe
On Wave 3! I honestly couldn't tell you the last time that happened, but it's all the worse as I was playing a GI/Jav.
In my defence, everyone else was dead and I ran out of time on the hack, having had to GTFO of Dodge a couple of times (Ghost, Reapers up in the hut to the right of the LZ) to try to kite some enemies away. I even used 3 missiles. Sometimes games go bad, I guess.

UUGing with my FQE, normal looking lobby, get Hydra/Cerb/Gold. Wave 1, a couple of the others go down several times. And again Wave 2. Wave 3 is targets. The first is an Atlas, which someone missiles, and the targets switch to Nemeses. I get the second target. Then I notice that everyone else is down. I can't get to anyone so I get the third target. Then the killfeed shows they are all bled out. I get the fourth target and carefully clean up the wave. Wave 4 starts. Within 20 seconds the other three are synced or downed and bled out. I think "No way I'm doing another 6 waves of this!" and allow myself to be Phantom shanked. ![]()

Lag, lag lag. Terrible lag.
Playing with the Geth plasma shotty for the first time, I don't know if it's the lag or the weapon sucks, but enemies just absorbed 50% of my shots without damage/hitmarker.
Badkarma.
KroganShaman in Dagger Hazard vs Geth: the others were grenades, tech or flamer. Especially an acolyte trooper who followed me so close, I was scared to fart. No biosplosion. No headshots with crusader. Lotsa stun. No answers to the mighty headbutt.
Shaman sad.
Geth Trooper (no flamer) vs Collectors in London. Carried till wave 8, wiped on 10. ![]()
I gave up: TGI, lancer X, acolyte, Cerberus, Reactor Hazard.
We won... but no fun.

Before joining Quarian Master Race for some games yesterday evening (which essentially reduced to following QMR and another good player around the map, watching them make Silver Collectors look like Bronze Reapers), I did another couple of Silver Cerberus pugs as a turian sentinel.
Three players with sub-120 N7s joined the lobby, one was N7 80-ish playing an Awakened Collector. The other two were _very_ green (hypocritical coming from me, I know!) One was a human soldier at N7 5, so this was possibly his second ever game. The other was another turian sentinel.
Needless to say, I was not hopeful.
We got Glacier. I basically did as I had done in the three games earlier in the day, spamming Overload and Warp as appropriate, trying to remember to check my six for Dragoons and Phantoms frequently, and generally attempting to act as if I knew what I was doing. The Awakened Collector was probably a better player than me (goes without saying, really), he carried a wave after I got Phantom-synced. The others needed reviving often, as expected. I had the five revives medal before wave 2 was over.
During extraction, the other players all camped the LZ. I feared disaster, but they actually did reasonable jobs of rezzing each other. I ran around on the walkway where the mission starts, trying to keep the Dragoons off them. Full extraction, and I fluked the top score. Surprised the Awakened Collector didn't get it, but perhaps he wasn't familiar with the kit.
(I know that's the kind of war story that the rest of you only post for Gold and Platinum, but humour me. Baby steps... :-)
We played one more which was a disaster. We got Reactor Hazard, not my favourite map at the best of times, I disliked the N7 mission there in single-player and have disliked the map ever since. Before we started, the Awakened Collector switched to Flamer GT and pretty much carried us. We wiped on wave 9; my fault, I got backed into a corner by two Dragoons and a Phantom. Another situational awareness fail!
Lag, lag lag. Terrible lag.

It was the lag, lag messes with projectile weapons.
Rio/Collectors/Platinum
Fast and furious, 2 GI:s and 2 TGI:s - never seen platinum collectors melt that fast on Rio before...
Two Volus, one cup.....
Yes, tech armour is my friend. I played a Sentinel in single-player; in ME2, it needed reactivating at the beginning of each mission, so it's a matter of getting back into that habit.
I'd really like to play as a quarian, but they're squishy compared with the TSent. I'm okay with my QFE with a Cyclonic; did a fun match like that a week or so ago. On the other hand, I've also been kicked from a lobby with that sort of setup, presumably because the other players didn't want to carry a PUG who was clearly relying on crutches.
Running away is definitely good advice! As long as there's somewhere to run to. In the latter stages of Reaper games, or the middle stages of Collector games (which I am actively avoiding for the time being because they're just not any fun), I tend to find myself pinned down by bosses. It's a matter of adjusting my mental notes of what to expect in each wave; boss swarms don't happen in Bronze, but now I need to remember to expect them.
The extraction waves are the hardest, I think. In Bronze, they're fun, an opportunity to rack up some more kills before finishing. (My QFI loves them, a never-ending stream of mooks to take sniper-rifle shots at). But in Silver, they're mental! Dragoons and Phantoms everywhere! (No, I'm not trying to camp the LZ! Not doing that was one of the first things I learned when I started lurking here).
Thanks for the FR offer. I only play on PS3 though.
@StephenW I exclusively play quarians on PS3 and am generally acknowledged to be fairly competent. Send me a PM for my GT if you need a buddy. I love having other quarians in my games.
Hey, always nice to see more PS3 players
Send me PM and I'll add you the next time I'm around, which should be in about a week and we can play a few games together. Mind you, I'm a scrubbiest scrub, but I'll try to help you as much as I can.
Name's JohannAnderson.
Nobody ever invites me to their party ![]()
Hahaha.
Add me as well, PSN, LaughingBanana. I do believe I am fairly competent at playing this game... I think. Would love to play more with people from here.
Ahh, the days when I play pugs with the old firebase white/glacier maps. I love it. The pugs always do the same thing. They run around a bit, find one of the two (or more) added walls, stop... stare at it for like 10 seconds, turn around and look at us, look back at it, and either shoot or run into it. Then they find the other missing one and it's the same thing. It's hilarious.
That said the old FB white is really cramped. Way more than glacier.
Vengeance!!
Wiped
on wave 4 of a UUP (Dagger Collectors), so I naturally set the lobby to Dagger Collectors as soon as I returned and readied up. One guy left and the rest of us started up as a trio. 25 minutes later Dagger was but a dot on the horizon as we returned home from a successful mission.
f****** bugs

I did that same thing in recent singleplayer playtrough. Checking all the multiplayer maps, and did they change anything. Amazing how some maps are really good, and that they never changed
.
I got stuck in a basement few times on that old Glacier of yours, looked for ammo on stairs, and couldn't get used to those boxes being where they truly belong. ![]()
I like the way Devs dealt with that map. I wonder at which moment during brainstorming somebody went:

I prefer new White. But, that PUG's reaction was hilarious, first thing he did was check the walls ![]()

Only one spoke the truth: can you find him?
Jesting aside, many pugs are good XD
Humiliation! (read in a Mortal Kombat stylee)...
Bottom of the scoreboard in a PuG. All I will say in my defence is BatSent, Kishok off-host with Disruptor ammo... vs Collectors... on Rio... in a game with 2 TGIs.
The randoms were pretty good though.
Grateful! Decide to get my level 19 TGI up to 20. Search for a UUG PUG. Hear the wiz of bullets as the loading screen appears--oh no...GIP! Turns out to be White (end of wave 6--objective was already done). As I get my first glimpse of the action, I am already being picked up by a Banshee while at least 2 marauders and a husk or 2 observe. Are you kidding me?!! Suddenly, an unknown teammate runs up and rockets the whole mess--great timing! (better than mine) I fall to the ground but am revived. The teammate has already run off to kill more stuff before I can say thanks. The rest of the game went quite well. I got on a roll and contributed my share of carnage. It was a good PUG (how many times can you say that?). To my unknown rescuer: I'm grateful!
