Grateful!   Decide to get my level 19 TGI up to 20.  Search for a UUG PUG.  Hear the wiz of bullets as the loading screen appears--oh no...GIP!  Turns out to be White (end of wave 6--objective was already done).  As I get my first glimpse of the action, I am already being picked up by a Banshee while at least 2 marauders and a husk or 2 observe.  Are you kidding me?!!  Suddenly, an unknown teammate runs up and rockets the whole mess--great timing! (better than mine)   I fall to the ground but am revived.  The teammate has already run off to kill more stuff before I can say thanks.  The rest of the game went quite well.  I got on a roll and contributed my share of carnage.  It was a good PUG (how many times can you say that?).  To my unknown rescuer:  I'm grateful!

2 straight Giant/Collectors/Platinum with 3 really good players. First I rolled the Krogan Soldier and 2nd the Destroyer, easy credits playing with these guys.

wave 6 - banshee?? 

More acurately, just beginning wave 7; had some wave 6 audio with no video for a minute.  I didn't actually check until 8--too busy.  Whatever.

Lag, lag lag. Terrible lag.

Playing with the Geth plasma shotty for the first time, I don't know if it's the lag or the weapon sucks, but enemies just absorbed 50% of my shots without damage/hitmarker.

q5tyhj already said the same, but yeah, it probably wasn't you and the weapon certainly doesn't suck (apart from being geth:P). GPS is a projectile weapon as opposed to hitscan. They can be extremely unreliable on a poor host (Kishock and Graal are even worse). I would suggest to making your own lobby if you want to use it to it's full potential, though it still works fine on a good host.

Reactor/Collectors/Platinum as BatSol with Talon - why don't this gun and kit get more love from the pugs? It's amazing on maps like reactor.

 

Ended with Reactors/Geth/Platinum as the Juggernaut, play him very rarely and this reminded me - damn he's boring to play..... But unlocked Eagle X and Indra VIII after these games - only 14 UR cards left to go!

One of the first Gold matches and I'm already learning how to properly use rockets. Because, what better way to do it than to demonstrate rage and blow some Rocket Troopers to hell? (I know, missiling Swarmers is more stylish, but I'm still learning.  ) Seriously, are they supposed to sometimes shoot 2 rockets instead of one? I have only three rockets and you can bet I made every single one count: that is one for each of the three Rocket Troopers that were in my sight. The Prime accompanying one of them was only collateral damage. Felt good.

I can completely understand that!! And I also approve rage rocket use.  Because, sometimes, Geth are so lame....

Yesterday I was playing off host on Glacier/Collector, the host was a good player but since no others joined it turned out to be a duo, I accidentally killed an Abom right beside him at 3 secs to extraction so he didn't extract and I was the sole survivor, I felt guilty and left thereafter.

I searched again a few mins later but landed in the same lobby, this time it was Reaper/Giant, turned out to be a duo again since no others joined, he got shot down at wave 11 when there's only 12 secs to extraction, I knew he was out of gel, so I ran over and did a heroic rescue, unfortunately I got grabbed by a Banshee immediately after reviving him, so this time he extracted and I didn't.

Still glad I made that move, now we are even bro, I don't owe you anything .

Two HEngineers, two Ghosts.  Reapers/Vancouver/Gold.  One of the Ghosts dropped out early on.  I can't speak for the other Ghost - I was usually on the far end of the map from him, but my fellow engineer felt like a fairly new player (and judging by the gear, probably was), but was clearly trying, and did well.  He also probably died less than half as many times as me...

If you have the Wraith, try it on the huntress - it's a match made in heaven if you ask me!

Yes, tech armour is my friend.  I played a Sentinel in single-player; in ME2, it needed reactivating at the beginning of each mission, so it's a matter of getting back into that habit.

 

I'd really like to play as a quarian, but they're squishy compared with the TSent.  I'm okay with my QFE with a Cyclonic; did a fun match like that a week or so ago.  On the other hand, I've also been kicked from a lobby with that sort of setup, presumably because the other players didn't want to carry a PUG who was clearly relying on crutches.

 

Running away is definitely good advice!  As long as there's somewhere to run to.  In the latter stages of Reaper games, or the middle stages of Collector games (which I am actively avoiding for the time being because they're just not any fun), I tend to find myself pinned down by bosses.  It's a matter of adjusting my mental notes of what to expect in each wave; boss swarms don't happen in Bronze, but now I need to remember to expect them.

 

The extraction waves are the hardest, I think.  In Bronze, they're fun, an opportunity to rack up some more kills before finishing.  (My QFI loves them, a never-ending stream of mooks to take sniper-rifle shots at).  But in Silver, they're mental!  Dragoons and Phantoms everywhere!  (No, I'm not trying to camp the LZ!  Not doing that was one of the first things I learned when I started lurking here).

Is it just me or BoTB should be replaced with Scumbag Steve banner in wast majority of cases?

I haven't played Platinum in a while. Main reason being that we usually all get obliterated during w10 revive party. (talking about PUGs).

Last morning I played a couple of matches with a friend (met him during my first platinum match ever, didnt see him in a while, great player). We did well, lobby filled up quickly with decent/good players. In first lobby we got another Get Hooper soldier, and Crusadin' AIU Infiltrator *guy with BoTB). That match we got Collectors on Rio, not the best map for my Hurricane GI, but I will take it. As far as I am concerned, apart from forgetting what pain in the ass Primes can be, I did well and so did everybody else.

BUT, at the end of the match BoTB person just turns on mic and says: 'Thank you for nothing, team'. (at least I think it was him on a mic)

I mean, WTF dude? We all did objectives, we revived each other (except few times when I revived myself instead reload cancel), got full extraction.

 

 

But all matches went well, no Condor, no failed missions, we later got 2 Juggs... Only thing that bothered me is that my Reegar in last match did almost no damage (and this is 2nd time that happens).

Played a duo silver, me as Krogan soldier (Geth pulse rifle) and random guy with Geth juggernaut (using a Lancer assault rifle, lol).

Went well though. Two players joined during the last waves, so they kinda helped.

Just unlocked the Krogan soldier. Doing exceptionally well with it - even though Iam not a tank type of player. Wierd.
