I've come to the conclusion that my score will drop by around 100k on average if there is more than one other BSNer in a lobby with me.  This does not bother me in any way, but I've played a couple of genuine pugs recently in between games with friends, just to see if I can still lead randomers to victory.  I'm glad to say I can, particularly with a BatSol.  Everything dies in flames if it can't run away. I sometimes kinda stop playing for a second just to enjoy the animation for a panicking, burning Marauder right before he explodes.  I've said it before, the BatSol is the ultimate "Listen, I'm just not taking any crap today" kit.

FIRE!!!!!!

Had a GT flame constantly for the entire match, that is of course when they weren't getting downed (seriously 3 or 4 times minimum per wave!).
It's pugs like that that made me swear off using flamer kits!

Something new,

 

Took the Salarian Engineer into platinum for the first time and got Jade/Collectors.

 

He did very well with the CSMG (but all casters do really).

 

Next new platinum kit to try will probably be the Hsent.

Indeed, the BatSol is a monster that wrecks platinum (I'm never below 200k with this guy) My favorite weapon on him is the Talon as if synergies very well with the range of his ballistic blades. Put heavy barrel and the power magnifier on it with AP IV ammo and nade gear and he becomes an unstoppable killing machine.

I recently acquired a taster for playing vorcha hunter. He's actually pretty fun to play if you give him Executioner and quite effective. So I had time for one game today and UUS turned into White/Collectors.

 

After kicking the bugs' butts(didn't die once in entire game, used no op packs, revived teammates like a good guy Greg... you know, everything done properly) we arrive to extraction and with 41 seconds left on the clock... the game hard freezes. Gone the vorcha hunter waves progression, Executioner progression, the credits... figures the bugs would screw me somehow.

 

It's stuff like this(plus the laggy games and shitty servers) that's just leeching the fun out of this game.

The credits are only awarded at game completion, so they would be lost, but your wave counts are updated at the end of each wave and the weapon scores are recorded continuously, so they should both be there.

This is not an uncommon sight among pugs - but this guy have 210k CP and N7 34000 or so..........

Don't know why I never tried this before, but I just tried the GI/Piranha combination.

Almost a constant barrage of shots, especially when reload cancel is done correctly.

I emboldened the word 'should', just, cos, well, y'know, sometimes they still do kinda disappear into thin air.

I eventually gave up playing with a guy who had more CP than me who used to do that kind of thing all the time, though his particular favourite seemed to be the Kishock.  I told him twice, gently at first, but to no avail. It's one of the things I hope Bioware will fix next time round - if a mod doesn't work on a weapon, it shouldn't be able to be fitted to it.  Simple.  Not everybody who plays games visits forums to learn this stuff.

 

As for my last pug, the word 'London' is really all that's required, but I will expand on it.

 

I was hosting last night, as I usually only do when I'm only a few games away from completing Map Mastery.  I had some help earlier when Clips7's Phoenix Vanguard popped in for a game on London, as well as a first game with LaughingBanana on Goddess, which ended for him on wave 10 due to a hard freeze.  Anyway, I found myself needing 4 waves on London to complete the challenge, so I set up a Reaper lobby and fiddled about with mods and amps for a while.  I was using a Vorcha Hunter with Valkyrie, and got fed up waiting so off I went by myself.

 

I was glad of some company by the time the challenges presented themselves.  Devices on 3 were actually pretty straightforward, escort on 6 less so, and the hack on 10 was, well, the hack was..... London.  Bottom of the stairs on the EZ side.  Job done though, thanks in part to the adrenaline mod which improved my Vorcha's Banshee-baiting dancing quite effectively.  The only one not to extract was the guy on his own in the EZ while the rest of us were on the far stairs until the 30 second point.  Good pugs.
