Godamnit!!. I only played a few games today and they were ALL Geth games. Half were on White/Hazard.

While I think I'm good for gold, I need a good team and frankly, that's hard to come by nowadays. So I'm doing some silver matches, for fun.

 

Landed in UUS lobby with my Paladin, with host as Destroyer. We got Cerberus/London. We got joined by voldept and flamer trooper midways, but none of them lasted long. So we two N7s plowed through the match, covering each other and extracted. We kicked Cerbies out of London and it felt good

The ironic moments when you as a Volus carry a match and have 5 times the lowest score of some one who was there since the beginning and whose sole purpose seemed to be dropping dead in the later waves. 

How the hell we got to wave 11 I still don't quite get.

Some girl was Box of Shaming, and kept calling us out on not sticking together. To spite her, I went full Tryhard mode and used all my consumables to ensure her score stayed low.

Failure. Pug Gold, and we got Hazard White / Cerberus. Had to clutch the second wave 10 pizza and clear, but clutch I did. It's a good feeling - a "hey, maybe I can feel like I know a little about what I'm doing here" kinda feeling.

 

Felt great to be making everyone's time count for something, and then I got Fantum'd in Extraction when someone blew up an Engineer's backpack in my face. No one made it out, because they had all run out of medigel.

 

Point totals didn't feel like a good way of measuring whether I carried that game, because of wave 10, but it sure felt like I was carrying. They were just too heavy for my noob ass

Dropped into a U/U/G GIP where there was a Turian Soldier who started every wave by charging straight at a spawn and unloading his Revenant at point-blank range.  When revived, rinse and repeat.  Definitely not a good idea.  Especially against Geth.  On London.

 

After observing his lemming-like behaviour, I made it a point not to revive him unless I happened to pass by his corpse during my circuit around the map.  Still managed to pick up the 10-revives medal from reviving the other two PUGs who went to revive him.

 

One of the other two PUGs was a FQE who played well but tried too hard to be a nice guy, reviving the Turian Soldier at least 3 times in the last 30 seconds to extraction, near the container boxes under the bridge and out in the open. Kept going down himself to enemy fire while doing so. I revived him on my way to the EZ but after he went down again trying once more to revive the Turian Soldier, he missed extraction.  At least, he got his shiny new Gold revives medal.

Or at least the Centurion at the beginning was so. Had the barrel of the Eviscerator right in his face and every shot did nothing. Quit the game.

It was absolutely hilarious. Headbutt everything.

I wish all games would be like this one....

Someone had modded guns. Claymore and scorpion with full auto, firerate of a harrier and apparently unlimited clip size... Banshee died in less than a sec with that. Still he didn't outscore my vanilla drell adept that much

Last pug: The couple that games together...

 

Dropped into a lobby with, as it turned out, a married couple.  Nice to see PC players willing to talk on the mic, and it was also a pretty smooth series of games besides.

Sacrifice

 

Shared an epic London PUG yesterday with an old friend.  Both of us were krogan sentinels, meleeing everying in sight including praetorians & abombs.  Extraction wave, he got picked up by a praetorian.  I decided extraction was for salarians, and what little caution I had went right out the window.  Burned all my gels and ops packs before going down for good with about 30 seconds left, nowhere near the LZ.  I'd do it again.  As a matter of fact, I don't think my krogans are ever going to extract again.  From now on I'll be across the map smashing and crushing my way to the krogan afterlife.
